Enjoyed my stay at Paula’s and team was lovely and very helpful. Paula was also very responsive and sorted the pool for us to use quickly due to the heat. I will definitely be booking again.

Zumbane Lodges (Dinner/Bed & Breakfast)

BlessingRating, 5 stars42 months ago
This is one of the best places we’ve ever stayed at and we wish we didn’t have to leave. The thoughtfulness and creativity Primrose and her team put in the entire Zumbane experience is on another level. We loved the views, the quiet and the team hosting us went above and beyond to take care of us. Would recommend a 4x4 for getting around to attractions. Highly recommend opting for the meals, they were delicious, make sure to try the sago pudding!

Villa in Vumba solar powered with pool and WiFi

HildaRating, 5 stars4 months ago
I booked last minute as I had received a short notice meeting. When I quickly scrolled the reviews I wasn’t too sure what to expect. My oh my this place is heavenly. The views are breathtaking, the host was super responsive and even gave recommendations of tourist attractions I could visit. It rained for 4 continuous days during my stay in Mutare including the time I was at Vumba vibes and I was worried I would have issues with electricity but was wrong . I had electricity and gas throughout and enjoyed warm showers! I will definitely recommend this guest house to anyone heading to Manicaland!

Pagotwe Village Lodge

FloRating, 5 stars7 months ago
Thank you Garce for letting my family and I enjoy your house. The house was clean with beautiful grounds and a clear blue swimming pool. The place came with a private chef, housekeeper and gadner, who were all very helpful and professional. I enjoyed the hiking in the area. If you are looking for a beautiful oasis in the Eastern Highlands rural setting then Pagotwe is your plug.

Kayse Rustic Vumba Holiday Home

TariroRating, 5 stars1 month ago
A Garden Enthusiast’s Paradise! This home is not only beautiful but radiates warmth and comfort. We were initially worried about the cold, but Sekuru greeted us with such a warm heart that all our concerns melted away. Despite our late check-in, he was patiently waiting and ensured we were all settled and comfortable. Every amenity listed was available, and honestly, the pictures don’t do this place justice — it’s even more stunning in person. The lush gardens are the pièce de résistance — absolutely breathtaking. The location is quiet, serene, and just a short walk from the enchanting Marindi Falls. Getting there was surprisingly easy; the road is good, with only the last 2km being slightly bumpy but still manageable with a low-clearance vehicle. Our only regret? Booking for just one night!

Goromonzi Escape

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Martha's place, and I cannot recommend it enough. The cottage is incredibly peaceful, comfortable and very clean. Check in was simple. Martha was kind and communicated well before and during our stay and was always on hand for anything we needed. She even gave us a few recommendations as it was our first time visiting the area. The place was also stocked with enough linen, towels and crockery for our group of 5. If you're looking for a peaceful getaway immersed in nature, this place is an absolute gem. A truly rejuvenating experience. Five stars!

Beautiful mountain retreat surrounded by amazing mountain views. Beautiful living quarters and amazing staff who are always on hand to assist and advise, not to.mention high speed Star-Link broadband and Netflix. For easy access the roads in the area do require you a twin cab (Hilux) or similar off road vehicle

A warm welcome awaits you at Rugare Cottage

MaaianneRating, 5 stars17 months ago
We absolutely loved our time at Rugare cottage, and we will definitely be back. The location, the views, the spaciousness of the house. We loved it. Patrick was helpful with recommendations for local walks. However the listing described a hot tub which our kids had looked forward to, but which wasnt there. Also the electricity had been off for a month (in the whole area). It would have been good to know this in advance. Patrick did run the generator for us daily for a few hours so things could be kept cool in the freezer, and the house has solar lights for the evenings, so we managed. Despite this we had such an amazing time there, and look forward to coming back again next time we go to the Vumba.
