Holiday rentals in Manggis

Wonderful stay here in a quiet village not too far from Sideman (15-20 mins via scooter.) I came here for some quiet restoration from Ubud’s buzz and relaxed solo for three nights whilst ordering all my meals from the nearby restaurant by the same owners and they delivered exquisite Italian food. The place is lovely with a view of Mt Agung & lush surroundings. Service and communication was excellent from start to finish. Pak was so kind he even retrieved some medication for me so I didn’t have to leave the villa and organised a masseuse to come and give me a treatment from my bed! Humble yet luxurious, a fine balance indeed. The only thing that I would note is if you are sensitive to sound, you might want some Bluetooth earphones or earplugs in the daytime as it’s close to the main street BUT this is NOT an issue in the evening as all you hear are divine sounds of nature. If you do not like frogs & other insects, this is not the place for you as they like to visit. Must stay!

The atmosphere was incredibly serene — birdsong in the morning, gentle breezes through the trees, and an overall sense of calm that made it hard to leave. The space itself was immaculate. Every corner was spotless, and you could tell a lot of care and attention had gone into maintaining the home. The cleanliness alone made it feel like a true sanctuary. What really made the experience stand out was Ariana, the host. He was absolutely perfect, so warm, attentive, and thoughtful in every interaction. From quick responses to helpful local recommendations, he struck the perfect balance of being available without ever feeling intrusive. It's clear he genuinely cares about her guests' experience. If you're looking for a peaceful, clean, and beautifully hosted stay, this is the place.

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Sasoon! The villa is spacious, clean, and beautifully set up with a lovely garden and pool that our family really enjoyed. The open living area was comfortable and airy, and the separate bedrooms were cozy with good air conditioning. The staff, especially Made, Ketut, and Surini, were super friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile. They made our stay feel special, from serving fresh breakfast on the deck to giving tips for nearby spots. The location is great—just a short walk to the beach and Candidasa’s main street with restaurants like Vincents or the wonderful DASA By The Sea, but still quiet and private. Overall, it was a relaxing and comfortable experience, and we’d happily recommend Villa Sasoon to others looking for a nice place to stay in the area.

What a unique and stunning peaceful romantic getaway. This part of Bali is truly worth a visit and this accommodation is very authentic and like nothing else I’ve seen. The staff were so attentive and kind too. The couples massage was incredible- definitely worth it. Breakfast was lovely very yummy. The only downside was the rest of the food wasn’t amazing (lunch and dinner). If I stayed here again I would research more restaurants locally and only eat breakfast at the venue. But truly a magical place. 🙏

Die Unterkunft ist einfach wunderschön – so etwas muss man erlebt haben, wenn man auf Bali ist! Die offene Bauweise, die Natur ringsum und die traumhafte Aussicht auf den Vulkan bei Sonnenaufgang und -untergang sind wirklich unvergesslich. Mein Partner und ich haben hier so gut geschlafen wie selten zuvor – die Geräuschkulisse der Natur war einfach magisch. Aber ein kleiner Hinweis für Bali-Neulinge oder Menschen, die mit Naturwesen nicht gut klarkommen: Diese Villa ist nichts für Anfänger. Durch die offene Bauweise begegnet man Geckos, Fröschen & Co. öfter – sei es in der Küche, im Badezimmer oder einfach beim Entspannen. Für uns war das kein Problem, eher ein Teil des Erlebnisses, aber man sollte wissen, worauf man sich einlässt. Insgesamt: Wer Natur liebt und die Ruhe sucht, wird diesen Ort genau so traumhaft finden wie wir.

Oh i absolutely loved my stay! I wish i could live there haha. It was so peaceful and close to sea. The staff is super friendly, i really enjoyed my stay there. Highly recommend a massage too. Miss it already! Thank you :)

Super Villa. Alles wie auf den Fotos. Tolle Kommunikation mit den Gastgebern. Die drei Damen um Iluh sind super. Jeden Tag leckeres Frühstück nach Wahl. Wir können einen Aufenthalt nur empfehlen
