Holiday rentals with a hot tub in Maleme

Thank you to Matthew and the team for such a lovely stay. Matthew went above and beyond for the duration of our visit, even giving us a lift to the local winery. The villa was exactly as pictured and beautifully maintained. The host welcomed us with pastries and local delicacies, which were even topped up during our stay when the villa was serviced. Whilst in a peaceful and quaint location, a car is necessary to explore the island and all it has to offer. Public transport does exist but is infrequent and not always easy to understand. Definitely worth a trip to the traditional bakery located a few minutes walk from the villa. Although we had a fantastic time in the hot tub and pool, the hot tub could definitely have been hotter. Overall all I would recommend this to everyone, and we will certainly be returning to Doro Gold Villa! Thanks again! Emma and friends

Mein Freund und ich waren 5 Tage in der Unterkunft und waren sehr zufrieden mit unserem Aufenthalt. Die Wohnung ist im Erdgeschoss eines schönen modernen Hauses. Die Wohnung war sehr gut ausgestattet, es fehlte an nichts. Hervorzuheben ist die schöne Terrasse mit Whirlpool. Die Lage ist super. Es sind circa 15 Minuten Autofahrt bis zum Zentrum Chanias. Mehrere Strände sind fussläufig zu erreichen. Das Haus selbst ist ruhig gelegen. Es bietet einen guten Ausgangspunkt, um Kreta zu erkunden. Katerina und ihr Mann sind tolle Gastgeber. Bei Ankunft erwartete uns ein frischer griechischer Salat, Orangen und Wein. Wir bekamen ein paar Tage später frisches Gemüse aus dem Garten. Katerina war stets erreichbar und sehr freundlich. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Insgesamt würden wir die Unterkunft weiter empfehlen! 5/5 Sterne!

Wir hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt in Kalimbari. Unsere Gastgeberin Georgia hat uns freundlich empfangen und die Wohnung ist mit einer Erstausstattung wie z.B. Wasser, Früchte, Honig und Zwieback für die ersten Tage ausgestattet. Die Einrichtung ist sehr geschmackvoll und bei einem längeren Aufenthalt werden sogar Bettwäsche und Handtücher ausgetauscht. Die Ausflugstipps von Georgia haben wir sehr gerne angenommen. Der Ort bietet einen guten Ausgangspunkt für vielerlei Tagestouren im westlichen Kreta. Bei allen Anliegen waren Georgia und ihr Mann äußerst hilfsbereit. Wir haben die 11 Tage dort sehr genossen und fühlten uns beim Abschied fast schon so, als würden wir zur Familie gehören. Das Airbnb war perfekt. Top ausgestattet, super Lage und trotzdem ruhig. Die Kommunikation war sehr angenehm und freundlich. Wir würden das Airbnb immer wieder buchen. Danke nochmals für den tollen Aufenthalt. :)

Very nice modern house (less than five years old?) overlooking the sea. Everything in very good working order, including powerful air conditioning in the bedrooms. Frequent cleaning of the pool area was a benefit, particularly when a storm had come in the night before. Very convenient to Rethymno as well as to several bakeries and restaurants towards the centre of the island.

Perfect place to stay while in Chania and exploring Crete. Close to everything but on a charming quiet street tucked away from the noise and crowds. Next to some of the best restaurants in town. Apartment was private, spacious and very clean. AC worked great. WiFi was ok. One thing to note is stairs are steep and second bedroom is accessible through the first bedroom, up another flight of stairs and , detached and on the rooftop space with a nice seating area and hot tub. Everything was great though and would highly recommend!

"Filoxenia" in greco significa amore per il forestiero e valore sacro dell'ospitalità. Questo sono stati per noi Nikos e Joanna. La casa perfetta con ogni confort. Panorama impagabile, vicino spiagge tutte da scoprire. Speriamo di tornare presto.

Wir haben 3 wunderschöne Wochen in Manos House verbracht, das Haus liegt in einer ruhigen Seitenstraße, es hat einen sehr schönen Garten in dem man wunderbar verweilen kann, nur wenige Gehminuten vom Strand und den Restaurants entfernt. Abends haben wir bei einem Glas Wein auf dem Balkon gesessen auf und den Sonnenuntergang genossen. Stavros ist ein kleiner ruhiger Ort in dem man sehr schnell in den Urlaubsmodus kommt und die Zeit einfach nur genießen kann. Wir haben uns in dem Haus sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen bestimmt noch mal wieder.

Wir haben während unseres Urlaubs auf Kreta sechs Nächte in Pavlos Unterkunft verbracht. Der Check- In war, obwohl wir mitten in der Nacht ankamen, problemlos. Die Kommunikation mit Pavlos war sehr angenehm. Bei Fragen war er immer zu erreichen. Die Wohnung ist hochwertig und stilvoll eingerichtet, hat eine tolle Aussicht und es ist sehr ruhig. Trotz allem muss man keine Angst haben, völlig abgeschottet zu wohnen. Die Terrasse bietet ein wenig Schatten und lädt zum Verweilen ein. Die Taverne „Meltemi“ liegt nur wenige Minuten entfernt, das Essen hier ist lecker und das Personql freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben die Zeit in Pavlos Unterkunft sehr genossen und kommen gerne wieder🌞

Beautiful well equipped house in a perfect location within easy walking distance of a supermarket, beach and restaurants. What makes this house absolutely exceptional is the host, Stavros. He couldn’t have been more welcoming, meeting us with some very welcoming groceries including his homemade wine and olive oil. We will absolutely be back. Thank you Stavros for making our stay so perfect.

We stayed here for 5 nights and it was absolutely stunning! It was more beautiful in person! It is close to town and beaches! Host Elektra was awesome! She met us once we arrived and showed us around! She also sent us a list of recommendations for restaurants and beaches to visit! She was around in the mornings to check on us to make sure we didn’t need extras towels! We had a very peaceful experience and the house has lots of charm which we loved!!!

We had a lovely stay at Stelios Villa. Incredible beautiful surroundings, it’s a short walk into Kalyves, we didn’t realise until day 3 but there’s a small parade of beach bars and restaurants if you walk a bit further than we had been for first 2 days. The stay was lovely, the house was beautiful. We really enjoyed the village and it’s relatively slow pace. Stelios was very responsive to messages and very helpful too.

Encore un grand merci à Giorgos et Maria pour leur accueil. Une très grosse tempête de sable du Sahara a tout perturbé le jour de notre arrivée. Nos hôtes ont fait le maximum et même l’impossible pour tout nettoyer et nous permettre de profiter de la villa dans les meilleures conditions. La villa est magnifique. Tout est prévu pour que nous puissions nous détendre et profiter au maximum. Pleins de belles intentions, des produits à disposition permettent de ressentir le confort dès notre arrivée. Je ne peux que conseiller la villa Mythic Olive 😊

We had a great time staying here for a few days. The villa was clean with plenty of space to other local properties for privacy. There are local restaurants and a bakery within 5 mins walk as well as a bus stop to easily head for central Chania. The host was very responsive and quickly sorted any questions we had. Highly recommended

We are three adult friends, spent two weeks at this villa in early June, for the second time. The first time was a year ago. And this speaks for itself – the villa is excellent and our holidays were wonderful. Villa is quite spacious, a gorgeous view of the sea, nice territory, a quiet place – for us it was actually an ideal vacation. A good pool – for those who is interested. Although we prefer the sea, still it was nice to swim in the evenings. There is also a jacuzzi on the terrace, which is another plus for jacuzzi fans. The staff is very friendly, if questions arise, they settle them very quickly. We have only one minor suggestion for the owners of the villa. It would be nice to have a toaster in the kitchen. And one more note: Villa is located on the hill. Morning walk down to the beach is quite nice, but instead of walking back uphill in the sun we took taxi (6 - 8 eur). If you rent a car, there is no issue at all.

The place was great and exactly as the photos suggest. Lots of steep and tiled stairs so a bit challenging with a 18 month old but for 3-4 year olds it was great. We came in May and the heated pool meant they could play in the pool all day. The place is lovely and clean, the outdoor bbq area is super and there are two taverns within walking distance as well as a corner shop. Anyone staying here will have a great holiday!
