Hostel holiday rentals in Malacca Strait

simple hostel-style rooms (single or shared) in a really great location close to the airport (about 20-25 ringit by air asia ride, 30 with grab). 15 mins. If you don't have too much luggage you can also go to the nearby KRL train station, which takes 10 mins to walk, and 10 mins by train. Just 5 ringit! I'm not a good hostel sleeper, there's always a bit more noise but this was as expected for a hostel. Showers are a bit old but do the job. (a little paint and fixing up would be good!). There's good local food all around, from Indian to Chinese and Malay. Some convenience stores and mini markets too. 15 mins walking away a mall and market (simple but good enough) with a big supermarket. The hostess is extremely helpful and friendly! certainly will consider coming back here for my next layover days.

Checkin time is flexible. Cleanest is just good, can be fixed for future.

We ended up moving to the deluxe suite room with an incredible river view - amazing value for money. Obiwan was super helpful and friendly, he kindly organised for us to be picked up from the bus station as well as our bus back to Medan. We did the 2d 1n jungle trek which he organised for us - well worth the money absolutely amazing experience and we were very lucky and saw 7 orangutans. Our guide was great, the walk was tough but so rewarding. We love the area of Bukit Lawang, would highly recommend you stay here!

If you are looking for somewhere to stay near the city centre, this place is just for you!! It’s only 10mins by MRT. The easy self check in makes everything very hassle free and convenient, especially as a solo-traveller. The kitchen is also well equipped with everything you’ll need during your stay.

Host was super friendly and accommodating. Was interested in our lives and asked us questions but didn’t pry and gave us privacy. Common area has a very hipster backpacker vibe but everyone was friendly :)

The most amazing place to visit in Penang and the best thing about staying in the old Penang was the food and restaurant scene on love lane the host Kent was really friendly and very welcoming to me as my first time travelling by myself so the atmosphere was very pleasant the moontree was amazing inside and out From Jordan

I enjoyed my stay here, nothing too fancy but exactly what I needed.

Beautiful place with really friendly host, can highly recommend. Motor bike is recommended if you plan to go to other places as it is not really walkable around there. The guide that they give you is really nice and covers this aspect as well.

Place are very close to the main town and convenient for foods and convenient stores. Good location. Room are value for money. Overall are very satisfied for the room and bathroom.

The room was clean, beautiful, and tidy. It has an attached bathroom, which makes it easy to shower and get ready. There’s air-conditioning and a water heater, so it’s comfortable in any weather. It’s best suited for two people, as it might feel a bit cramped with more. The price is quite cheap (under RM100 per night) for a comfortable room like this. Overall, everything was good—I would definitely recommend this place and would stay here again next time. 5/5!

This place is value for money! You’ll be staying right at the centre of the UNESCO world heritage site. Great picturesque places to walk around, also totally recommend the airbnb experience hosted by Wilson where he takes great pictures of you. The room is a small yet clean stay for your quick trip, affordable and totally worth it :)

After 10pm a bit noisy.. u can heard people from outside laughing because u open the door have corridor and next step is having a cafe for chills.. so this chalets not to private like some place.. after tired we going back to chalet and the others customers at the cafe look2 until we go into the room.. a bit shy but just continue walking.. everything it’s okey.. just environment to close with the cafe and we can hear their chit-chat each others🤣🤣..

We were desperate to find a place to spend the night on a busy long weekend so we stayed here. We were surprised how nice and neat the place was. Penny is very nice and accommodating too. Great value for money.
