Lolu Village Resort

We had an amazing experience at Lolu Village Resort. The resort was very beautiful, well kept, and safe! The location is perfect, so close to all the ancient Anuradhapura temples. Taking a dip in the well kept pool was always so inviting after a long hot day of exploring. All the food at the restaurant was delicious, the staff were so kind and helpful. Highly recommend staying at Lolu Village Resort when visiting Anuradhapura.

Le logement est niché en pleine nature, ce qui offre une expérience unique ! Nous avons adoré, même s’il faut s’attendre à quelques bruits d’animaux la nuit. Le personnel est extrêmement gentil et toujours prêt à rendre service. L’endroit est impeccable, et le jardin avec la piscine est magnifique. Le petit déjeuner est délicieux et très copieux, et nous avons également dégusté le repas du soir, qui était un vrai régal. Une superbe adresse pour un séjour au calme !

Kalum et sa famille nous ont super bien accueilli ! Sa femme nous a régaler pour le repas du soir ainsi que pour le petit déjeuner 😜 Ils nous ont conseillé pour notre parcours, transports etc ! Utile et efficace Petit roof top sympa ! Espace de vie agréable En plein centre de la ville, il y’a un marché local juste à côté ainsi qu’un lac ! On reviendra 🙂

We really loved our stay at valampuri. The staff were very helpful for all of our needs, Akash and Javid really looked after us and always made sure everything was ok. The food was tasty and the rooms clean. There is a boat service to the kite spot and you can also access by scooter or tuktuk. The hotel is just up wind of the kite spot, so quickly accessible. Definitely recommend this place for a good friendly time in kaliptya.

THE BACKWATERS LODGE IN THE WILDS OF WILPATTU

The Backwaters is a beautiful, peaceful place and the perfect location for safaris in Wilpattu. we had a lovely warm welcome woth cool towels and sweet tea, perfect after a long journey from the airport. Tarique arranged our safari tour for us, with pick up at The Backwaters and it was a reasonable price. The rooms were great, clean and the air con was very handy. The staff were wonderful, particularly Lakshi and Ikram, who couldn't do enough for us ❤️ The chill put area by the lake is so beautiful and peaceful, wish we could have stayed longer.

Kaala Kalaththewa Eco Resort Ketakala Villa

My friend and I had just arrived from Europe to Colombo and 4,5h drive to Anuradhapura. This was the absolute perfect place to wind down after a long journey. The pool is extremely clean and tucked away so you have all the privacy. The treehouse (room, bathroom & terrace) is super spacious. Everything is in a very good state and all the amenities are there. The bathroom is downstairs, so they even installed a second toilet next to your room so you don’t have to go down during the night. Apart from the place being absolutely wonderful, the host Sameera is the kindest man. He always greeted us with a warm smile and asked us proactively if he could arrange something for us. Transport, a guide, anything , he will make sure it’s all set. The accommodation is a 15 min tuktuk drive from the new town, but if you like to escape the busyness and sleep at a quiet place, this is your go to! Thank you again Sameera and others for our wonderful stay! Stay healthy and happy!

Nimals was a great place to stay. It’s a little off center but all of Anuradhapura is very spread out so your gonna need tuk tuks He has previously worked in tourist hotels so room/batg was at a higher standard of bed pillows & linen & towels He speaks good English & suggested many things to max my experience of this beautiful town like seeing Minhitale … a must. No food in booking but plenty of tea as per listing I loved it … has a great old dog too
