Holiday rentals in Mafeteng

I had a nice stay at the guest house. Its big with a neat garden, a fun bar and good food. Many people come there to have a nice time. It was a nice atmosphere. The booking went wrong though. I had to share a room because my name was not on the list even though I booked a week in advance. So I feel like they should improve their system of bookings. Luckily the rooms were really big. We got offered a discount for half the price the first day, second day we got a free pizza instead. I was fine with it, had a great time. But others might have hated this to happen.

A great stay very nice and a great houst

Perfect😊👌 We were really fortunate to find this farm on Airbnb. Tina and Janka were truly phenomenal hosts; we arrived late and I hadn’t downloaded a location, they went out to look for us! We were really blessed to stay with such wonderful people and the outside unit had everything we needed.

We had a wonderful time in Morija! Lindy took great care of us. Lindy and her team gave us great tips and we really appreciated that they were always thinking about our well being. Thank you so much Lindy and the team!

This place is a hidden gem and a great overnight stop between the Wild Coast and Johannesburg. Elaine has cleverly converted an old post office into a quirky and comfortable Airbnb. The price may seem a bit steep, but Elaine compensates for it with thoughtful treats and extras. The surrounding mountains are beautiful, and there is a river where you can swim if you are brave enough. We loved our stay and will definitely be back!

We stayed at Ha-Ramohapi Farm Lodge in Mafeteng, Lesotho, while attending my uncle’s funeral, and it was truly a memorable experience. As fellow Airbnb hosts, we were very impressed by the unique rustic setup, which perfectly blended comfort with tradition. The beautifully crafted rondavel huts, stone walls, and the thatched roof provided a warm and authentic atmosphere. Mafeteng is part of my ancestral district, so staying in such a traditional and spiritual setting was incredibly special for us. The highlight was the generous hospitality of the host, who, on our departure, gifted us fresh organic spinach from his farm—a thoughtful touch that we deeply appreciated. If you are looking for a peaceful, rustic, and culturally enriching stay in Lesotho, we highly recommend this place!

An absolute gem in rural Lesotho. The accommodation itself is comfortable and offers everything you need. The close proximity to surrounding villages and serene nature offers you a truly unique experience that is hard to find anywhere else. To best experience this, we would strongly encourage anyone visiting here to go on a horse trek into the mountains. We went for the full day tour and had an amazing time! The local guide was super friendly, and once we got back from the tour, Mamello had prepared a delicious meal for us. We opted for the meals both nights of our stay for an additional cost and can recommend that. Overall, a great place to have an authentic Lesotho experience. Great clean and practical place, you can see the host put a lot of effort into it. Felt very comfortable, quiet, private and had all we needed. Highly recommended. 😊
