Premium Private Camping with Views and Swimming!

Our property is (s) of Fredericktown. No houses or roads are visible. TOTALLY private! It sits along a spring fed creek that you can float around in about 4 feet deep max. Refreshing and very clean except after rain. Teaming with little fish. In this area we provide a firepit, 2 beach chairs, tiki torches and some firewood. Car cannot cross so we can help. Areas to hike. Please only use glass in the grassy areas. Dig catholes for human waste or pack out. Expect to pack out your own trash.

Really amazing spot- we tent camped in a more secluded site. We had no idea there were shut-ins at Fredrock and actually preferred swimming there over the more popular spots like Castor River. Way less crowded and really idyllic place. Already planning a trip back to one of the glamping sites next time!

I took my boyfriend here as a gift from graduating from college and it was really nice!! I love how everything was set up and how there was pretty much everything that we needed. The shut ins were really fun too! The only thing that kinda sucked was how bad the ticks were. We didn’t get them until we got into the hot tub and I guess they’re hiding in the ceiling above it and were dropping onto us. Me and my bf definitely had to spend some time checking each other and were pulling multiple ticks off of each other.

In late October, we camped in one of the five RV sites. Misty communicated quickly via messaging. Check-in was easy. We had no concerns or problems. Loved the showers with the bath mats. There was more road noise than we expected but I’m sure I would have read that in the reviews if I had read more carefully. It did not bother us at night. We were there in November and were the only campers. We went to Sam Baker State Park during the day to hike the Mudlick Trail and Ozark Trail, and also, hiked at Turkey Creek. I recommend all three trails. In Patterson, we found Tequilas Mexican Restaurant just as a rainstorm hit. It hit the spot after a wet day of hiking. Would love to have been at Fredrock in the summer to put my feet in the water!

River Access, RV Site #3 at Fredrock!

This place is AWESOME!!! Couldn't ask for a nicer place to camp. Showers and restrooms were very clean. The creek was sooooo nice. Will definitely return
