We were warmly welcomed by Janine. She is a very thoughtful host, who is good advice and who made our stay most enjoyable. Janine was both responsive and non-intrusive. The accommodation was very peaceful, comfortable and well-equipped. Janine's paintings very nicely embellish this small, functional space. We really enjoyed the interaction with Janine, and we thank her for her delicious gifts (fresh eggs and small pastries). We recommend this listing, we'll be happy to go back if the opportunity arises.

We were more than delighted with our extended weekend in the charming home of Maryse and her spouse. A peaceful harbor, surrounded by nature. We were able to enjoy the beautiful garden and the birdsong! The terrain is perfect for outdoor activities for young and old. The house is well located for both enjoying the countryside and accessing historical sites, beaches, etc. (25 min from Colleville sur mer for example) The jacuzzi and billiards made our evenings more enjoyable! A big thank you for Maryse's warm and generous welcome.

From the warmth of the welcome, the beautiful house and amazing gardens, the history, the graciousness of the building and the generosity of our hosts. It was impeccable. If you are visiting the Normandy beaches I can’t recommend this Airbnb enough. A truly special place that will stay with you for weeks afterwards.

We really liked the “river house”. Very well equipped, clean, quality (bedding, linen, bathroom, kitchenware). The pool is huge and well heated. Tons of sightseeing and activities nearby. Note that there are 2 bathrooms but one is on the ground floor (room/living room + kitchen), the other on the 1st floor (2 double bedrooms) and none on the 2nd floor, upstairs bedrooms with several beds (2 bedrooms x 3 individual beds). Charming hosts. Authentic countryside environment. Very satisfied, thank you!

We were with a group of family members to visit some places related to D-day, among other things. A very nice and practical base for, among other things, a visit to the famous beaches such as Omaha and Utah beach, bunker complexes, American cemetery, Sante-Mere-Eglise etc. The house itself is practical and comfortably furnished. Large kitchen, large sitting area, nice bedrooms with good beds. 2 good bathrooms and 3 separate toilets, great! The house is located near a farm, on the edge of a small village, with beautiful unobstructed views of the surrounding area of mainly farmland. A nice quiet place with a good house as an ideal base for a visit to the region.
