Cheryl is a one of a kind host. She went more than above and beyond showing me not only the gorgeous islands of Bastimientos but also gave me an insight on the way of life there. It was literally a life changing experience because of how secluded yet how lively the island is. Full of nature, community, and a place for relaxation and self care. Truly an epic experience that was once in a lifetime. Thank you Cheryl and Mike for an unbelievable time and for giving me access to your space and your time. You guys are amazing and I recommend them to everyone. I will always remember this trip from the floating bar, red frog/wizard beach and the lazy beach days right from the room. Truly a magical experience and I will never forget it. Be good to Cheryl and Mike and they will be great to you. Cheryl and Mike you two always have a friend in the Washington DC area so feel free to come on by. Thanks so much and highly recommend!

Wij hebben een fantastisch verblijf gehad bij clem’s cottage. Host is erg vriendelijk. Wij onderschrijven alle eerdere positieve reviews. Heerlijk rustig, supermooie locatie en de brulapen om ons heen! Bijzondere accommodatie. Misschien niet voor iedereen maar wel voor mensen die zoeken naar iets bijzonders met toch alle gemakken die je nodig hebt. 1 kleine tip: een lekkere lounge plek buiten om avond te eten (buiten het mooie restaurant) zou super cool zijn! Wij hebben genoten!

An absolutely majestic location with a phenomenal staff and amazing food! We can't speak highly enough about Michelle & our new friends. This location is a seaside-oasis tailored for escape. The bungalows are tranquil, a scerene seascape. At any given time you are treated like old friends, laughing, learning about the food, the farm, the culture. The beds and amenities are all A+ too! Heather and Lori were amazing hosts – warm, kind, and always available to help. They took care of picking us up and dropping us off at the airport, provided excellent tips for exploring the area, and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. A truly unforgettable experience!

My husband and I came to Panama for the first time along with another couple. The house was perfectly appointed, so much so that we all felt like we could live there permanently. The photos scarcely do the place justice. The large porch was fabulous and we spent much of the time there. The beds were comfortable and it was easy to take a water taxi where you needed to go. Steve, the host, gave great recommendations. Pat attention to his instructions if you are staying here. Everyone made us feel very welcome. Tera and Jesse, the owners were so gracious and hospitable. I highly recommend this if you are looking for a place off the beaten path and outside of Bocas Town.
