House holiday rentals in Les Vans

Due to personal circumstances we had to rearrange this holiday 2 times, of which Remy was very understanding. We booked the villa based on how well the photos looked but were really not ready for just how much better the place was in reality! Le Magnanerie is tucked quietly away in a totally idyllic spot in a gorgeous old French hamlet, boasting the most impressive westerly views across the private pool of the Cévennes, with stunning sunsets. The covered outside area is spacious and perfect to escape the direct summer sun, and the thick stone building is naturally cool. Comfortably set over 3 pretty floors with portable air conditioning in the loft bedroom area. Kids bunk beds are perfectly placed and even though everything is wooden, nothing creaks. Local agent Deborah was very helpful and after driving from the UK, we were pleasantly surprised to have had our best family holiday to date here! We rarely return to holiday destinations, however we will certainly be coming back. Merci

A magical place, set in the middle of nature! Interior of the house impeccable but the best is the exterior. With the summer kitchen, the pool, the view, the petanque court. Amazing, I would recommend!

We had a great week at Anne's place! The cottage is very nice, spacious and nicely decorated. Exactly like the pictures. You have a fantastic view and you have a lot of privacy as a guest. The village of Ribes is beautiful and small, and the surroundings are also beautiful. The contact with Anne was very good. We would definitely like to come back!

We had an exceptional and rejuvenating stay! The cottage is very well equipped and so pleasant. We enjoyed the pool and the terrace, where the view is breathtaking. We were greeted with great kindness and very good advice for visiting the region. Agnes and her husband are very friendly and flexible. We were well received by Melissa who agreed to adjust the arrival time, thank you again to her. After a quick tour of the house, we were able to take possession of it. The volumes are immense and immediately give a very beautiful impression. The rooms are a good size as well as the bathrooms, impeccable. The living room, kitchen are perfect. As for the outside, it is also huge and beautifully planted (the olive trees are very beautiful). Even though the pool is a little small, we fully enjoyed it as well as the sheltered terrace, ideal for spending long evenings. I therefore recommend it. Thanks again!

Le Mas de la Source is a very beautiful relaxing place, picturesque and very well placed to discover the most beautiful places in the Ardeche to visit (Chauvet, Pont d'arc,...) or to practice (hiking, canoeing,..). Le Mas resembles a small village typical of the region, with all comforts, a swimming pool and other entertainment. Anne, always smiling, will welcome you warmly and will always be there for any little question. Great stay for us, we recommend it!

If you love peace, nature and freedom, this place is fantastic. A beautiful, diverse environment with many hiking trails right next door, but also further away. We explored the region by car and took several walks with the dog. But coming back was always a party, and then we received a warm welcome from Wallace, in a nice, well-kept and tasteful cottage with everything on and off. Admired the starry night from the deck chair and the last night a thunderstorm spectacle as the icing on the cake. Haryhanta provided the delicious and fresh eggs in time and she was there if we needed anything. We highly recommend it and we would love to discover more in the Cévennes at Harryhanta.

This place is beautiful and is set in a splendid setting. It's total calm. There are very nice hikes to do in the area. We came at a time when it wasn't very hot with a lot of rain. The heating system is a small slow-burning wood burning stove that we had to provide with wood throughout our stay in order to warm up the space and chase humidity. But this stay was a unique experience.

Great weekend, very relaxing in this isolated setting. Beautiful interior decoration, nice exterior view! Description corresponds exactly to what we expected.

Recipe for a happy time: Book this cottage for at least a week. Dive into the book and DVD collection and go to the Tuesday market in Villefort and the Saturday market in Les Vans (!). Cook with the delicious local products in this super cozy kitchen. Enjoy the tranquility and take a walk along the river, you should not go far to be able to enjoy the overwhelming nature. Long walks are optional, and if you burn the fireplace out of season and enjoy the crackling fire, the idyll is complete.

It was a great stay with Anaïs and Mathieu. The apartment is very tastefully decorated, the kitchen very well equipped with everything you need. The apartment is relaxing and quiet in the vineyards. Thanks to the good recommendations, we had a very nice hike and drank good wine.

A peaceful oasis, wonderful for relaxing, sun all day, good facilities: terrace with seating, grill and loungers. Here we were able to switch off perfectly. Thank you, Bastien.

My stay went very well in a very small beautiful village, isolated and rocked by the permanent music of the Thines river in the distance. From the accommodation, the breathtaking view of this Ardèche valley gives all its charm and character to this experience. A big thank you to Estelle for her clear explanations, for the quality of the accommodation which is well equipped and for the comfortable bedding (because let's never forget that it's also for (good) sleep that we are there :) )

Everything was perfect: the warm welcome, the impeccable cleanliness, the comfort of the place… but especially the breathtaking view😍! Every morning, waking up to this magnificent panorama was pure joy🌄. The calm, the nature, the pure air... you feel completely refreshed. The cottage is perfectly equipped, tastefully decorated, and you can feel that everything has been thought of for the well-being of travelers🙏. The property is lovely and the hosts were very welcoming and respectful and helpful with suggestions. Our only critique would be that the pool whilst lovely is not private and shared with the hosts who admittedly did not use it whilst we were there and if you like me love to cook the oven was portable and a slight challenge to use. The village and walks were incredible and the location near to Uzes, Nimes and Avignon makes for a lovely stay. A big thank you to Pascal and Catherine x

We had two wonderful weeks in Catherine's cottage! We enjoyed the tranquility, simplicity, wild nature, clean air and challenging walks. The swimming pool was wonderfully fresh and an experience! Catherine and her family received us very warmly. Bruno gave us homemade goat cheese. Actually, we prefer to keep this beautiful place a secret :)

We were looking for a feeling of "alone in the world" lost in a generous nature, and bingo! All while having the comfort of a well-equipped and warm home. François is very attentive and responsive, very pleasant too. The view is memorable, the surrounding hikes wonderful. We loved the songs of the birds and the river below. We recommend it 100%!
