Maria and Jarle were fantastic hosts! The Cottage by the Fjord is a charming and cozy spot that felt like home. We loved the cider walk and local hikes and maybe most of all, just hanging out on the water and in the backyard. On top of it, Jarle and Maria were quick to respond and assist. Thank you, Jarle, for telling us the history of your family home. So special! Fantastic and idyllic stay!

The house is located in a great area for hiking. We enjoyed beautiful panoramas and were able to relax fully in the jacuzzi and sauna. Highly recommended place if you want to escape the big crowds of tourists. Be aware the jacuzzi is for an additional charge and you need to prepare your own bed. We didn't mind these things and enjoyed our stay very much!

A fantastic house just by the fjord, very well kept with excellent views. However you will need a car to get to the house as it is out of the city centre but it is really worth the drive to the house to chill out for a few days. The house is very clean and has a well equipped kitchen and a large veranda that overlooks the fjord. Amazing place & I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is visiting Forde. Well equipted house, superb location – a very good experience at Arild‘s place. Owner is very easy to get in contact with, any issue is solved at the same minute :) 100% recommend for the one’s who will look at the place to rent in Førde !!!!!

The place was in a great location, it was a shame that we only stayed for one night and didn't have time to get a good view of the surrounding scenery, had a good communication with the host and when we struggled, immediately delegated his brother to come and help resolve.

A comfortable house with a jacuzzi, a light, spacious kitchen, a large bed, and wonderful views of the surrounding countryside, especially from the decking. Ivar who looks after the place was friendly and helpful, and arrival and communication were easy. Please note that there may be surcharges eg for extras and electricity - check house rules. Highly recommended.

Puddehytta lived up to the name this weekend, with a wonderful lead in and off the trail. We got to try both over and down the skiing 😊 Very great and cozy cottage. Great long table with room for the big family around the same table. Spacious and great kitchen. A small loft room with TV was plus for the kids who could sit there. A great cabin with a great location, makes us happy to 😊🤩

We had a great stay despite the rain, the house was lovely and cosy. The boys loved being near the fjord and beach. The sauna unexpected extra. Sverre was easy to contact and friendly. The whole experience was super laidback. Thank goodness the sun came out for our last couple of days.

A fantastic property, exactly as described, with all needs taken care of. All major attractions within a 30 minute drivable distance and a grocery store that sells practically everything literally at your doorstep We really should have planned to stay for longer than 2 days.

We loved staying here! It was such a beautiful place and a great way to appreciate the fjords. The house had everything we needed. It was well stocked with an impressive library. I could recommend without reservations.

We loved the opportunity to stay in an authentic Norwegian cabin that was at least 250 years old. From outside it looks like a modest cabin but opens to a spacious and warm living room and dining area. The kitchen is modern and well equipped and there is a good shower. The two upstairs bedrooms, one opens to the kitchen, had great views of the mountains and very comfortable beds. Great venue to visit Flam, Borgund and Urnes Stave churches or to hike. The farmers market at Laerdal was excellent.

Marta gave me a very nice welcome upon arrival, with insightful recommendations of what to do around Voss. Unfortunately, I got sick the next day. However, I considered myself lucky in the caring company of Marta. She was simply wonderful: connecting me to a medic, doing grocery shopping for me and even wishing me a "get well soon" in my own language. Possibly, the best host I ever had. Very grateful! And also, the appartement is really nice and spacious, with all amenities included. As everything else in Norway: simply wonderful!

Huge nice and idyllic place, with a lovely view! The house we stayed in was very cozy and the kids had a great time, got to cuddle with the lambs and was lots of romping space. Very nice and accommodating host. Would highly recommend!

This was one of the nicest AirBnB's that we've stayed in. Very nicely furnished and nothing lacking in the kitchen - we were easily able to cook meals there. Comfortable bedding with night tables on both sides, and nice furniture for relaxing. Place was easy to find with beautiful views of the fjord from the front porch, with a path going down to the water's edge across the street. Heated floor in the bathroom. Iwona was a very responsive and helpful host. We would stay here again without hesitation!

What a magical place! The house is in one of the most breathtaking spots we’ve ever visite right between the mountains and the water. Waking up to those views felt unreal. The home itself was cozy, well-kept, and had everything we needed for a peaceful, comfortable stay. Endre was a great host very easy to communicate with and made sure everything was clear before our arrival. The check-in was smooth, and we really appreciated how quiet and private the area was. It was the perfect escape from the city and gave us a chance to really relax and enjoy the nature around us. We highly recommend staying at this wonderful place, superb location for exploring the area. The view across to the mountain & fjord is splendid with the benefit of enjoying from inside through the large picture window, or sit outside on the veranda. I loved having another small sitting area upstairs with it's own small verandah & relaxed here late evening. The bed was comfortable, good downstairs shower, excellent drying room for our boots. The kitchen is well stocked for baking or making waffles, if you are inclined. It is very nice to have a few spices or herbs to use. Mads is extremely fast responding to y queries. within minutes. It is easy to access, took a bit of a wrong turn to get the right road, Turn immediately left off the main road, go down the hill to the next left junction, go up and straight on past the children's play area under the pines. You can bathe in the fjord below and have a lovely walk through the woods, along by the fjord or up onto the hill. 5 stars

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy house on a small apple farm! The place was spotless and had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. The view of the orchard and surrounding fjords was stunning, and the location was perfectly secluded, offering a peaceful and relaxing getaway.

We stayed at Ole's house for two nights as a family. It was fairly convenient for us to explore nearby tourist attractions. House offers all you expect and some more. Feels cozy to have a warm stove while resting in the evenings.

A nice "old" hut. You immediately feel comfortable, the abundance of wood creates a warm atmosphere. We would have liked to have stayed longer. Kitchen is large and many utensils are available. A clear recommendation from us !

The place is furnished with a lot of love for detail and beautifully modern. You feel right at home. Randy is super friendly, leads you through the apartment and has lots of great tips for excursions. The surroundings are fantastic - a fantastic fjord and lots of peace and quiet. Very remote and the narrow roads require a talent when driving back. But for that, the small place is perfect to unwind. The apartment is very clean and you will find everything your heart desires. Beds are very comfortable and cozy. The bathroom with the large bathtub is a dream! The view from the living room is priceless. Incredible to see several waterfalls arise in the rain!
