Holiday rentals with a kayak in Lapland

Sinikka's place was incredible, we are so happy that we were able to stay there. The house felt very homey and we enjoyed the sauna very much! The location is perfect, away from the city center, with beautiful nature around and a bus stop to the city center or Santa's village 5 minutes away on foot. The frozen river is a few steps away, and we were able to go enjoy the aurora from there with little light pollution, what an unforgettable experience! There is a groceries shop nearby too. Sinikka was extremely helpful and reactive by message. I will recommend this place and host to anyone who wants to stay for a few days in Rovaniemi!

Juhas Villa is one of the best accommodations i‘ve been to during all my Journeys. It‘s located very beautiful and private near a huge lake. The Villa is spacious and equipped very well. It‘s 30 minutes from Ranua by car away. So it’s a good Place to visit for example the Ranua Wildlife Park. We also Went to Korouoma Canyon from Juhas Villa. It’s easy to get to the Villa by car, Even in Winter when the streets are a Little Snowy. We (5 people) have been there in March with a rentalcar. Juha is so friendly, Helpful and polite! He Went icefishing with us on the lake and offered us warm Drinks and Snacks. The best things of the Villa were the Sauna, the whirlpool and spotting the polarlights out of the livingroom. I can absolutely recommend Juhas Villa and I‘d love to come back, maybe in Summer next time! Everything was Perfect, thank you!

Talo oli ihanan tunnelmallinen, siisti ja palveli meitä loistavasti. Keittiöstä löytyi kaikki tarpeellinen. Susanna oli mukava, ja ystävällisesti neuvoi meitä, sekä lämmitti saunan meille. Saimme myös kalastaa rannassa ja nauttia pihapiirissä säästä. Kaikin puolin onnistunut majoittuminen.

Perille helppo löytää. Oikein hyvä hinta-laatusuhde. Itse olin ohikulkumatkalla, joten kohde sopi erittäin hyvin nopeaan yöpymiseen.

We are so grateful to Raisa & Kalle for an unforgettable 5-day family holiday! We feel we got to experience the best that Lapland has to offer. Our kids (aged 8 and 10) had so much fun in the outdoors and said it was the best holiday ever! Raisa, is an amazing host, provided great advice pre-arrival and kindly arranged airport pickup and car rental. The cosy accommodation had a mini winter wonderland in the backyard, our kids spent hours sledding while we relaxed in the Laavu by the open-fire, enjoying views of the frozen river and forest. Our kids played together, and Raisa & Kalle guided us on amazing outdoor adventures - visiting a local reindeer farm, exploring the forests by foot & snowmobile, ice fishing, enjoying delicious open-fire meals and viewing the northern lights! They could not have been more helpful, we feel very lucky and thank them dearly for sharing their home and their way of life with us! We have left with many wonderful memories, we will be back again for sure!

Super séjour chez Esa. Le logement est authentique et paisible. Nous étions ravis d’aller chercher l’eau à la rivière, d’allumer un bon feu de cheminée et de profiter de la nature environnante. Le sauna est a faire absolument: on a adoré en profiter le soir et apercevoir des aurores boréales en sortant du sauna. Le logement comporte tout ce qu’il faut pour passer de bons moments dans la région. Esa nous a très bien accueilli et expliqué toutes les spécificités du logement. Des raquettes ( adultes et même pour enfants) et des luges étaient à disposition pour se balader dans les environs. C’était parfait, merci beaucoup Esa.

Le logement était extraordinaire de part sa situation géographique vraiment juste au bord de la rivière. Environnement calme, sauvage. Le 1er avril nous avons eu une explosions d’aurores boréales dans tout le ciel, sur la terrasse de la maison …. Époustouflant !! Pour 5 personnes , nous nous sommes facilement adaptés aux toilettes sèches et douche à l’extérieur qui ajoute au côté sauvage. Nous avons pu bénéficier du spa sous la neige, du sauna chauffé au feu de bois … Pour les personnes qui n’aiment pas l’authentique, laissez ce coin de paradis aux autres … Dépaysement garanti (même si wi-fi performant 😉) . Viktor a été très disponible et arrangeant pour toutes nos demandes, nous lui en sommes reconnaissant, encore un immense MERCI 🙏🏻

Yanina et Jukka pekka nous ont proposé beaucoup d'activités à faire alentours. un grand merci pour le sapin que nous avons pu couper puis décorer nous meme. La ballade pour aller voir les aurores boréales était superbe. nous recommandons vivement. anne

Fantastic wilderness cabin in a great location. We stayed during mid march and the fire stove kept us plenty warm throughout the day and night. The last logs put on the fire at night would keep the cabin above +10 C the following morning even when -16 C outside. The cabin has everything you need and then some for people who love the outdoors. Jori was always available online to give information and tips on ice fishing. We caught 3 fish on our first ever ice fishing experience. The lake can be explored on foot but snow shoes help. There is plenty to explore with other wilderness huts reachable by hiking on some of the islands. Views of the northern lights were spectacular on the lake. Remember to take plenty of water with you, particularly in winter so you don't have to collect from frozen lake. Would definitely love to come back some day.

Localisation : superbe endroit isolé près d'un lac. silence apaisant. Belle nature. Il faut être en voiture. Le logement est très cozy surtout le soir avec le type d'éclairage. Pour cuisiner, il y a un poêle à bois ancien avec plaque en fonte et à côté une plaque à induction. Donc si vous voulez cuisiner avec plus de 2 casseroles, l'induction ne suffit pas. Magnifique poêle de masse qui permet de belles flambées et facile d'utilisation. Un mode d'emploi très bien fait est fourni. Sauna à bois ce qui est plus agréable que le sauna électrique, super odeur de bois. On n'y prête pas attention sur le plan mais il faut passer par la terrasse donc l'extérieur pour aller du séjour à la salle de bain et wc. Cela se fait très bien même la nuit :) par -15°. C'est original et on se sent encore plus en Finlande !! Accessoires de cuisine en nombre suffisant, bonne literie. Rideaux occultants à toutes les fenêtres. On s'y sent bien. Nous recommandons ! 😊

Mökkiloma oli onnistunut. Kaikki toimi hyvin ja mökki on rauhallisella paikkaa. Mökiltä on helppo mennä mm. pilkillä. Parasta oli kun ei ole tv:tä👍😊 Saunassa oli hyvät löylyt ja puut olivat kuivia ja hyvälaatuisia. Suosittelen.

This is one of the nicest AirBnB that we have stayed in (and we have been seen alot of them). The location is outstanding, the AirBnB itself is spotless and contains everythig one needs. I would highly recommend!

Der Aufenthalt bei Alexandra war super schön. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Alex hat für uns die Husky Fahrt gebucht, die Sauna vorbereitet und einen Grillabend mit uns gemacht. Die Umgebung ist perfekt um ruhige Abende zu verbringen und die Ruhe fernab von Trubel zu genießen. Die Übernachtung bei Alex ist absolut empfehlenswert! Immer wieder gerne!

Wer seine Ruhe möchte ist hier absolut richtig! Eine super schöne und gepflegte Unterkunft mit eigener Sauna direkt an einem See. Es gibt zwar zwei weitere kleine Blockhütten in der direkten Nachbarschaft aber man fühlt sich dennoch ungestört. Bei unserer Ankunft hat Juho uns alles erklärt weswegen der Aufenthalt auch insgesamt ohne Probleme verlief. Würden diese Unterkunft immer wieder buchen und können sie absolut empfehlen! Wichtig ist nur, dass es kein fließendes Wasser und keine Dusche gibt. Man kann das Wasser aber ohne Probleme selbst an einem Brunnen pumpen und in der Sauna erwärmen. Uns hat es wirklich sehr gut gefallen!

Wir haben uns in der Hütte von Teija wirklich sehr wohlgefühlt und wären auch gerne länger dort geblieben. Wir fanden es total schön, dass wir die Möglichkeit hatten ein Lagerfeuer anzumachen und zu grillen. Die Umgebung ist durch den Wald und die Nähe zum See sehr ruhig und perfekt zum Entspannen. Die Hütte an sich ist sehr modern eingerichtet und wird mit einer Wärmepumpe gewärmt/gekühlt. Außerdem war Teija jederzeit erreichbar, unglaublich freundlich und bot mit ihrem Gästebuch viele hilfreiche Tipps an :) Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen und können die Unterkunft wärmstens weiterempfehlen 😊

Situé face à un bras de la rivière, calme et sérénité. endroit idéal pour voir les aurores boréales et vivre en communion avec la nature. sauna face à la rivière, feu de camp possible. hôtel proscrit et super réactif!

Wir hatten im Mökki eine super Zeit! Es war alles da, was das Herz begehrt. Die Umgebung ist traumhaft schön! Mitten in der Natur konnten wir gut entspannen. Die Lage ist richtig toll direkt am See (das heißt natürlich auch matschige Wege im Wald bei Tauwetter, Achtung bei der Autowahl). Supermärkte sind mit dem Auto ca. eine halbe Stunde entfernt. Mit dem Auto sind gut Wanderrouten erreichbar. Alexandra war sehr freundlich in der Kommunikation und konnte uns viele Tipps geben! Der Checkin/Checkout waren problemlos. Wir hatten einen hilfsbereiten Ansprechpartner vor Ort. Die Unterkunft ist sehr sauber und ordentlich. Der Urlaub dort war den Preis definitiv wert. Immer wieder gerne!

Wir hatten eine wundervolle, erholsame und unvergessliche Zeit in der Hütte von Elina und Henri! Nach jedem tollen Erlebnis haben wir uns gefreut wieder in die gemütliche Hütte zu kommen und uns auf dem Sofa aufzuwärmen und einen Tee zu trinken :) Vielen Dank, dass ihr so einen tollen Ort mit anderen teilt und ihn zur Verfügung stellt! Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und die Zeit sehr genossen! Die Küche war top ausgestattet und wir hatten nichts zu bemängeln!
