We had the greatest stay at Kosti’s ! He’s the best host we could ask for. He’s always available when you need anything, and makes sure for your stay to be as welcoming as possible. The sauna and pool are really nice to enjoy, and the location is perfect. The (then frozen) river next to the house offered us the possibility to watch wonderful auroras, and the proximity the Ounasvaraa ski station allowed us to enjoy it as much as possible. I could only recommend you to stay at Kosti’s place if you want your stay to be the best, and feel as a local.

Unser Aufenthalt in diesem wunderschönen Haus war einfach unvergesslich! Die Lage am Fluss war absolut atemberaubend und die Aussicht auf die Natur rundum ließ uns jeden Tag aufs Neue staunen. Ein ganz besonderes Highlight war der Abend, an dem wir die Polarlichter direkt über dem Haus und dem angrenzenden Fluss sehen konnten – ein Anblick, den man wohl nur selten im Leben erlebt! Es war ein magischer Moment, den wir nie vergessen werden. Die Umgebung war unglaublich ruhig und privat – perfekt, um wirklich abzuschalten und die Seele baumeln zu lassen. Für uns war es die perfekte Auszeit, fernab vom hektischen Alltag. Die Fahrt zur nächsten Stadt und Einkaufsmöglichkeit dauert zwar etwa eine halbe Stunde, aber das war für uns überhaupt kein Problem, denn es hat sich absolut gelohnt, in dieser idyllischen Lage zu wohnen. Ein Auto ist hier definitiv notwendig, um die Region bequem zu erkunden. Alles in allem war es eine traumhafte Woche, die wir in vollen Zügen genossen haben.

Viihtyisä majoitus, josta löytyi kaikki tarpeellinen. Mahduimme hyvin koko porukalla kokkailemaan ja oleskelemaan. Viestintä omistajien kanssa oli helppoa. Oli myös kivaa päästä rapsuttelemaan huskyja, matkassa mukana ollut koiranpentumme ihmetteli koirakamuja vain kauempaa mutta nautti myös Lapin-reissusta :)

Linda and Semi's summer house is the best place for adults and kids to relax and play in summer. we stayed there for 2 days. The place provides countless recreational facilities. you can have suna, hot tub, fishing, paddling, table tennis, ... The rooms are clean. The kitchen is full-equipted. We had a great time there.

We had a lovely holiday in Sanna’s beautiful home. It was perfect for the whole family - even better than we had expected from the photos. The location was fantastic - only a few minutes drive to the town but so peaceful and right across the road from the lake. We enjoyed so many walks on the lake, ice fishing with the equipment Sanna provided, the hot tub and sauna and the youngest member of the family expended lots of energy on the bouncy castle in the basement. Sanna was so helpful with recommendations in advance. It has been a wonderful family holiday, aided by good weather, bright blue skies and great sights of the northern lights. Siisti ja tilava mökki rauhallisessa ympäristössä. Kirsi oli todella huomaavainen ja mukava majoittaja. Mökin erotti aiemmista Lapin vuokrakohteista runsas välinevarasto (porontaljat, lumikengät, pulkat jne) sekä mahdollisuus ostaa laadukasta poronlihaa suoraan pakkasesta. Voisimme tulla mielellään uudelleenkin!

Juhas Villa is one of the best accommodations i‘ve been to during all my Journeys. It‘s located very beautiful and private near a huge lake. The Villa is spacious and equipped very well. It‘s 30 minutes from Ranua by car away. So it’s a good Place to visit for example the Ranua Wildlife Park. We also Went to Korouoma Canyon from Juhas Villa. It’s easy to get to the Villa by car, Even in Winter when the streets are a Little Snowy. We (5 people) have been there in March with a rentalcar. Juha is so friendly, Helpful and polite! He Went icefishing with us on the lake and offered us warm Drinks and Snacks. The best things of the Villa were the Sauna, the whirlpool and spotting the polarlights out of the livingroom. I can absolutely recommend Juhas Villa and I‘d love to come back, maybe in Summer next time! Everything was Perfect, thank you!

Nous avons passé 2 nuits dans la maison de Sanna et tout était parfait. Avant même d'arriver, la communication avec Sanna a été très rapide et facile. Sa maison est très jolie, très bien décorée et remplie de petites attentions. Le sauna est un vrai plus. C'est la première fois que je loge chez quelqu'un d'autre et que je m'y suis sentie aussi bien. Il y a des gens qui ont le sens du service et Sanna en fait définitivement partie. Je ne peux que recommander, tout était simplement parfait.

Le logement se situe dans un environnement paisible situé à côté de la rivière, proche de Rovaniemi ce qui permet d’aller en ville facilement. Avoir une voiture est indispensable. Nous avons passé une excellente semaine. Le logement est très bien chauffé et contient tout le nécessaire pour y être installé confortablement. Nous avons même pu apercevoir les aurores boréales depuis le chalet. Le logement est assez spacieux, et vous y passerez une excellente semaine.

Woww – eines der wirklich seltenen Juwele hier auf Airbnb! Ein wirklich schickes Haus, sehr gut ausgestattet, sehr liebevoll eingerichtet und sauber geputzt. Mit dem eigenem Seezugang, so ganz für sich alleine, das wahre Finnland, ein Traum! Man ist wirklich für sich alleine und hat ins kleine Dörfchen 7-8min zu fahren, aber die Ruhe ist herrlich. Geheizte Garage ist super, ein 4WD ist im Winter bei der relativ steilen Zufahrt sicher empfehlenswert sonst könnte es sein dass man nicht mehr weg kommt. Wir konnten über den gefrorenen See laufen, die Sauna geniessen und Nachts perfekt Nordlichter direkt über dem Haus beobachten. Gute Gründe um wieder zu kommen! Wir waren nur zu zweit, aber das Haus ist auch für 6 Personen wirklich gross genug – Top! Im Ort hats 2 Supermärkte wo man alles findet, ansonsten ist's da aber nicht viel los, war für uns aber genau richtig um zu entspannen. Wir waren schon in relativ vielen Airbnb's und Hotels, die Unterkunft ist bei uns mindestens in den Top 5!

This place is absolutely stunning — it felt just like home from the moment we walked in. The hosts were warm and welcoming, and the view of the river was simply beautiful. What really sets this stay apart, though, are the small extra touches the hosts thoughtfully included: delicious chocolate, quality tea, oats for breakfast, a lovely selection of shower gels, and even spare toothbrushes just in case. It’s these little details that show how much care has gone into creating a truly special experience. Highly recommend and would definitely return!

Erittäin hyvä majoitus meidän perheelle yhden yön majoitukseen. Paikassa kyllä viihtyisi pidempäänkin. Aivan loistava puusauna ja perheen pienemmätkin huomioitu hienosti. Voin suositella!

We enjoyed staying at Tapanis amazing place. The view is beautiful beyond words. We found everything we needed in the kitchen. We would love to come back.

The house is located in Lapland's most beautiful village Vuontisjärvi and the scenery to "mountain" Ounastunturi is stunning. The house is very well equipped, has a lot of space, is well-functioning and the furnishing is stylish. This is a perfect place to relax!

Wir waren zu viert in der Wohnung und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Ilkka hat uns persönlich begrüßt. Das Haus liegt nahe der Straße und ist auch im Winter gut mit dem Auto erreichbar. Die Sauna ist prima, die Betten bequem und das Sofa neu. Gewürze und Kaffee waren vorhanden. Ilkka hat uns Langlaufski und Schneeschuhe günstig organisiert und eine Loipe für uns gespurt, die hinter dem Haus losging. Polarlichter haben wir auch 2x gesehen. Alles war super unkompliziert. Gerne wieder. Vielen Dank.

It is a beautiful, modern, and cozy house located on the bank of a lake, with large windows overlooking a breathtaking winter landscape. We stayed there two adults and one child—and had more than enough space. The house has everything you could need: a fully equipped kitchen, a lovely sauna to relax in after skiing, two cozy double bedrooms, nice living room with large sofa, and two showers! There are also sleds available for some fun in the snow. We rented cross-country skis for the entire week and enjoyed skiing right from the house onto the lake. We were also lucky enough to see beautiful northern lights from the window or while cooling off outside after the sauna. Just an 8-minute drive away, there’s a small village with a school that has an outdoor ice hockey rink, which can be used free of charge for figure skating or hockey. The nearest supermarket is also an 8-minute drive away, making it very convenient. The owners are extremely responsive and friendly. Highly recommend!

Wir hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt! Die Unterkunft war nicht nur blitzsauber, sondern auch mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet – man hat sich vom ersten Moment an wohlgefühlt. Alles war genau wie beschrieben, wenn nicht sogar besser. Die Gastgeberin war äußerst herzlich, hilfsbereit und immer erreichbar, falls Fragen aufkamen. Besonders schön fanden wir die ruhige Lage und die gemütliche Atmosphäre – der perfekte Ort zum Abschalten und Genießen. Wir kommen definitiv gerne wieder und können diese Unterkunft wärmstens weiterempfehlen!

Wunderbare Unterkunft mit allen Annehmlichkeiten (indoor und Outdoor Sauna). Gute Lage - absolut ruhig und uneinsehbar und trotzdem in 10 Minuten in Rovaniemi.

Viihtyisä huoneisto lähellä ulkoilureittejä ja palveluita. Miina oli hyvin avulias ja joustava. Huoneistosta löytyi kaikki tarvittava, hyvä sauna ja tunnelmallinen takka. Erinomainen kohde!
