The Cottage on the Green

The Cottage is situated on the backside of an acre parcel behind the main house. A swimming pool separates the main house from the cottage. The property is very quiet, peaceful and private. Guest have a Separate entrance. We are a retired lieutenant from a California LE agency and his wife a retired teacher who give guests as much privacy as requested. We are a short distance from the Longleaf Trace and 1.5 miles from the Barn at Bridlewood wedding venue for those attending a wedding there.

Relax in quiet peacefulness surrounded by forest. You really notice the beauty and sounds of nature here. Walk down the trail to the one acre pond to feed the fish from the pier. Or walk out the back door to another trail to experience complete solitude. This was my grandparent's home where they once farmed 80 acres. It's cozy, quaint and very private. However, it's less than four miles from downtown Sumrall and 16 miles to Hattiesburg. Your pets will enjoy the large fenced in back yard.

“The Roost” Farm & Glass studio 1mile from town

Welcome to “The Roost” Guesthouse at Thomley’s Farm. If you are a Christmas Tree customer you might know this building as our Gift Shop. In 2023 we renovated the space and could not be more happy with the outcome. Nice big shower, King sized bed, Twin & Trundle. Electric fireplace & the cutest custom kitchenette. Lots of natural light & privacy when you want it. This front porch is central to the happenings on the farm. You are next door to the Glassblowing studio and goats down the hill.

Fais (Fay) Tiny House - Longleaf Piney Resort

The Fais Do-Do Tiny House has a queen bed with adjustable head and foot controls. There is sliding glass door on one side and roll-up garage door on the other that opens to a wooden deck overlooking the Longleaf Trace. Both doors have drapes and blinds to keep it private. There is a full shower, TV (local channels), refrigerator/freezer, kitchen sink. A private campfire area and outdoor deck. There’s no cable or wifi but there is good cell service for those who struggle to unplug.

Southern comfort home with pool

We absolutely loved stayingat her beautiful home. It was very clean lots of room and the pool was amazing. She was very sweet and extremely friendly and helped out a lot! We would love to come back and visit we loved that she was there to greet us and show us around also! Lots to do and lots of fun

My husband and I loved every single second of this place! We celebrated our 14th anniversary and it was exactly what we needed. Worth every penny, definitely a hidden gem! It was so nice to literally unplug, unwind, slow down and just enjoy each other. This place is already amazing but I could see how they could add and grow so much in the future, like piers off the tall banks, gazebos by the water or at the top, steps down to the water, porch swings around the bottom of the houses. There's just so many different things. We literally sat on the porch day dreaming of what we would add if the place was ours. We can't wait to come back and bring our daughter. Great location, 10-20 minutes from anything yet you feel very secluded. All 4 cabins are close but yet far enough that you can't hear the neighbors at all. Yhr chairs around the fire put and washing area is a great addition, can't wait to come back during cooler weather to have a bonfire. I can't wait to see how yall grow!!!

Had a great time staying there with my two young boys. The House is plenty big especially the large living room and kitchen area. The best part to me was the large yard as well as having all the room to go see the goats, turkeys, pigs, and other animals really makes it a great place to be able to let your kids run around and not be stuck in a small house. Will definitely stay again when in town.
