Bungalow holiday rentals in Lamai

We (me and my girlfriend) stayed at the family bungalow for a month and had a great time. We were both working remotely, and the family bungalow worked great for this -- we both had a seperate room with AC for working. There were also 2 balconies that worked well for calls, at least if one is heat tolerant :) The area fit us very well, it is a more laid-back part of the island The beach is just meters away (great for swimming during high tide) and there are multiple great restaurants on the way to the main road. Also, the commuication with the host worked very well and we were able to do self-check in early in the morning after having to reschedule our flight with no issues.

Great location with wow factor. The Bungalow is a great place to relax and put your feet up. It is tastefully decorated and has a positive vibe about it. It lies at the end of Bong Por Beach which is very quiet compared to other beaches in Samui. It has beautiful views out towards Koh Panghan. We loved the indoor-outdoor setup of the bungalow and would definitely come back here and stay again. Communication with Marina around the reservation and with Spy whilst staying at the bungalow was excellent.

There’s a scooter rental available right on site, which made exploring super easy and hassle-free. The host was incredibly kind and helpful — she even arranged a driver to pick me up from the airport. The area is peaceful and beautiful, a quieter side of Koh Samui, which we really appreciated. But the absolute highlight was the view from the terrace: directly over the ocean – truly breathtaking. Highly recommend!”

Excellent stay at the bungalows - right on the water and near 7-eleven + good restaurants! It was a great deal for the beach access we received. Air conditioning works well. Wonderful stay.

We stayed here for two weeks in August and had a great experience. The house has everything you need—it's spacious, clean, and comfortable. The property is shared with three other houses and a shared area with a pool and shower. The views are beautiful, with a dense forest on one side and banana plants and palm trees on the other, giving a real countryside jungle vibe. There's also a cute cat named ChaCha living on the property! The location is a bit far from the main town, so you’ll need a scooter or car since there are no sidewalks and the nearest shop is a 2-3 minute drive away. Communication via Airbnb was a little confusing at first, but once we arrived, everything was smooth. When we didn’t know how to turn on the hot water (a circuit breaker was off), they helped us in a matter of minutes. Everyone's very nice and friendly so don't be afraid to ask! Overall, it was a fantastic stay. Highly recommend, and I’d visit again!

Loved this place! My favourite Airbnb experience to date! It looks even better than the photos The location: out of the way slightly up the mountain, very private and quiet, felt like a peaceful retreat. We hired a car which made it so easy to get around Actual Airbnb: The room is even better than the photos, very comfortable and gets a lot of breeze if doors are left open, stays very cool. the whole property is stunning, the breakfast in the mornings is incredible, the staff that work there are so friendly and Kristin is so personable and a great host. Wish I could’ve stayed longer and will be going back. Loved the personal recommendations and the pool area with lounge chairs etc.

I had the loveliest week staying at Kim's place. What was initially supposed to be a three night stay got extended to a five night stay because I loved it so much. The place was perfect for a solo traveler like me who was looking for some peace and quiet and some beach therapy. Kim was truly one of the best hosts I've ever stayed with. You can have a chat with her in the morning while you have your coffee or whenever you see her around. I would definitely consider coming back to stay here again.

I had a great, relaxing time here. Close to nature and plenty of solitude from other residences. Home is clean and modern with working amenities including laundry. TV in living room and working desk in bedroom are a big plus. It helps if you have a car or don't mind walking a bit.

We had a great stay here! The location is excellent — close to everything we needed. The place was very clean and well-maintained. Check-in was super easy, and the host was always responsive and helpful throughout our stay. It’s a very family-friendly place, with all the amenities we needed. The big-screen TV was a nice bonus for relaxing in the evenings.

I would recommend this host with whom we can count on staying at her place unlike other hosts on the island who display false availability. The apartment is new and maintained, and I'll be back in a few days. I warmly recommend it.
