Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Lake Tanganyika

Great place with a helpful host and groundskeepers. The yard is clean and spacious, great for personal relaxation and quite airy. it's beautiful. Elyse was quite supportive and friendly. Absolutely great!

La maison est dans un beau jardin et la terrasse permet d'admirer la lac Tanganyika. L'intérieur. les chambres, le salon sont spacieux et bien aménagés. La maison est vraiment habitée, décorée, vivante. La cuisine dispose de ce qui est nécessaire. Le centre ville avec les commerces et le marché sont à 10 minutes à pied. Nous avons passés un très bon séjour. Je recommande sans réserve.

We enjoyed our stay with Mteule very much. He picked us up in town and took us to the house which is located around 2 km outside the immediate town surrounded by hills. He also made sure we accessed a supermarket and got all things we needed. He also arranged for help to cook in the house since it's located away from restaurants. The place felt very comfortable and safe and the staff were very helpful and friendly. I will definitely stay with Mteule again.

Great Host. Place was a little mansion. Keep in mind it's actually in Bujumbura, not Gitega.

Si vous êtes à la recherche d’un logement de qualité, dans un cadre paisible mais sans pour autant couper du monde, vous allez succomber aux charmes de cette belle maison. Louise a été aux petits oignons depuis notre arrivée jusqu’à notre départ : une vraie maman poule. Toujours présente quand on avait besoin d’elle ou d’un simple renseignement. I recently stayed at Hija's House in the Mlole Area, Kigoma, for six nights, and it was fantastic. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and at home. The warm hospitality and attention to detail made my stay memorable. The house is charming and spacious, with three bedrooms. We were lucky to be the first to stay after a major renovation. The rooms are clean and comfortable, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring Kigoma. The kitchen is fully equipped with almost everything you need for meal preparation. The house has parking for 2-3 mid-sized vehicles, with ample space outside the wall fence. The National Housing neighborhood in Mlole is peaceful and safe, with a security guard at the entrance. Hija's House is conveniently located near local attractions, markets, and public transportation. I enjoyed visiting nearby Lake Tanganyika and engaging in various water activities. The host was incredibly responsive and helpful. I wholeheartedly recommend Hija's House to anyone.

La maison se trouve à peine 5 minutes du centre ville et dans un quartier très calme. L eau et l électricité y sont vraiment régulier contrairement à d autre quartiers de Bujumbura. Vraiment je recommande ++++

My stay was perfect, the place is neatly and extremely worth exceeding my expectations. I will for sure recommend anyone visiting to choose the Kidyama house. Grace went extra miles on services offered on accommodation and gastronomy (Foods). I will absolutely be back at this location soon.

Very nice place. Super comfortable beds. Great air conditioning. Great bathrooms and showers. Very clean. The neighborhood is beautiful for walking and it’s a quick walk to the beach.
