Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Lake Ohrid

Thank you Slavica for a wonderful stay! We had such a great time at that house. The views are incredible and the house is very centrally located. There is a parking behind the house where we left our car. There were 4 of us and we had more than enough space. We will be returning again!

We loved staying at Jetas place and would come back anytime! Apart from the beautiful and clean flat with a wonderful lake view, her family was outstanding welcoming and always helpful, especially to our dog lady. A minimarket is located directly in the same building. The beach is fantastic and reachable in only 1 minute. Even the guys from the campsite „Red Stone“ were always friendly and helpful, also their food and drinks are highly recommended. Altogether a stunning experience!

Wir waren mit den Motorrädern unterwegs im Balkan. Für eine Nacht haben wir eine Unterkunft am See gesucht. Die Unterkunft ist leicht zu finden. Parkplätze auf dem Grundstück mit einem Tor. Wir haben uns sofort sehr wohl gefühlt. Wir wurden persönlich empfangen. Alles sehr sauber und modern eingerichtet. Ein paar Minuten zur Promenade mit vielen Restaurants und Cafés. Gute Tipps von Gastgeber haben geholfen. Wir können diese Unterkunft uneingeschränkt weiter empfehlen.

Unterkunft hat den Erwartungen übertroffen. Der Hof auf dem das Haus steht war abgezäunt. Nur durch ein Tor, mit einem sehr freundlichen Wachmann, kam man rein und raus. Gerne wieder.

We felt right at home as soon as we arrived at Villa Petra: a beautiful and super cosy house in an outstanding area of beauty. We had everything we needed and the hosts were some of the most responsive and friendlier hosts I have ever come across, sometimes responding within seconds from asking them a question!!! It’s hard to describe the tranquility and unique charm of the house and the area, you just have to experience it for yourselves to appreciate how precious they are. Thanks so much to the hosts for everything, such speedy and helpful responses, while on holiday in somebody else’s home, are very hard to find, they stand out. Go visit the Prespes area and stay at Villa Petra, you will not want to leave, ever! I promise you that.

Het is een prachtig huis, met een mooie tuin. Het huis is netjes afgewerkt en heel erg schoon. Overal is aan gedacht: de keuze uit een winter- of zomer dekbed, er is toilet papier, de wifi is goed, het terras heeft gezellige tafels. We sliepen met de deuren open. Je ziet de lichtjes van de stad maar het geluid is te ver om er last van te hebben. Overal zijn horren dus geen zorgen voor muggen. Je kijkt prachtig uit over het meer en ' s nachts hoor je niks en in de ochtend de vogels. De tuin is mooier dan op de foto's: rozenstruiken, kruiden, fruitbomen. Dit huis is echt een aanrader voor rustzoekers. Twee volledige badkamers en een wasmachine. Er is ook een BBQ. Als je goed ter been bent ivm de trappen en je zoekt rust en ruimte en natuur en een fijn huis met uitzicht op de bergen en het meer. Wij gaan vaak naar huisjes, maar dit huis heeft onze verwachtingen overtroffen! Het restaurant in de straat is lokaal. Wij hebben er alle avonden gegeten.

That was the best holiday I’ve ever had. The house was beautiful, clean and spacious. Kitchen was clean and comfortable. It has everything you might need. The view to the lake was spectacular. Especially on sunset. Huge terrace and even bigger garden. Perfect place to be on quiet and peaceful vacation. And also really romantic spot. It’s in 15 minutes walk from the lake and 5 minutes with a car. We were with our dog and she spent most of the time in the garden. She loved it so much. The harden was fenced which was really important for us because we have a husky that loves to escape 😃. Ilina’s parents and grandparents are the kindest and warmest people you’ll meet. They welcomed us with coffee and we even played cards together. We’ll remember them forever. Aaand we’ll for sure be back soon because it felt like home.

Die Lage am Berg oberhalb des Sees ist spektakulär, die Terrasse mit der atemberaubenden Aussicht ist real noch schöner als auf den Fotos. Die Empfehlung der Gastgeberin zu dem urigen lokalen Restaurant im Dorf war super, wir haben die leckeren mazedonischen Gerichte total genossen. Wir waren zu zweit mit Hund zu Besuch und haben uns sehr gefreut, dass auch unsere Fellnase willkommen war. Da es zum Eingangsbereich einige Treppen zu erklimmen gibt, ist ein organisiertes Gepäck zu empfehlen 😜. Wir haben das Schlafzimmer im Dach nicht benutzt, da die Ausziehtreppe den Zugang zum unteren Schlafzimmer und zum Bad erschwert. Das Häuschen ist ein wundervoller Ausgangsort, um den Ohridsee zu besuchen. Morgendlicher Kaffe und abendlicher Wein in der Ruhe des Bergdorfes und dem unbeschreiblichen Blick von der Terrasse machen den Aufenthalt zu etwas Besonderen. Die Gastgeberin hat unsere Fragen immer schnell und hilfreich beantwortet.

Eine wunderschöne Unterkunft mit viel Liebe eingerichtet. Wunderschöne Lage mit Blick auf das Gebirge und den See vom großen Panoramafenster aus. Es könnte mit ein paar Kleinigkeiten wie Geschirrtuch, Geschirrlappen/Schwamm und Pfeffer nachgebessert werden aber ansonsten hat es uns an nichts gefehlt. Albis Frau war bei Fragen sofort behilflich, hat uns immer sehr höflich und freundlich empfangen und konnte gutes Englisch. Die Unterkunft lag etwas außerhalb des Zentrums, war aber mit Restaurants ringsum sehr gut ausgestattet. Kleine Stände mit Obst/Gemüse etc. aus eigenem Anbau findet man hier sehr häufig und machte den Flair der Umgebung noch reizender. Wir können diese Unterkunft wärmstes empfehlen und würden zu 100% wieder kommen. Danke an Albi und Familie.

I had a great time staying in Pogradec at Julian’s Airbnb. Julian is incredibly helpful — he went out of his way to assist us and made sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. He even met us in person, personally took us to the bus terminal when we were leaving, and had reserved bus seats for us in advance. The apartment is so homey and cozy, it made me feel nostalgic and reminded me of my childhood home. We had everything we needed, and the place was clean, bright, and welcoming. It’s also in a great location — just a few minutes’ walk to the lake and close to many restaurants, shops, bakeries, ATMs, and money changers. Despite being right in the center of town, the neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful, which made our stay even more relaxing. Highly recommended!

I'm just starting with two "negative" things. 1) Pellets are needed for the stove, as it is more comfortable for the client and more romantic, (but not really necessary for heating). 2) A larger hot water tank is needed for the bathtub, as hot water is used up quickly. Now we are talking about the benefits of the environment. ☺️ It was a luxurious, cozy apartment, with ample space and comfort. The apartment was a romantic place, where the lights and the bathtub with hot water had a great effect. The bed was king size, spacious and comfortable, heating with a large central air conditioner that was sufficient for heating the environment. (The stove is needed more for romance). It was a very clean environment and everything was shiny. I highly recommend this place and if you want to spend a nice night, choose it. Shaida was also always ready to answer any questions we had. (I would suggest that you welcome guests with something, maybe a small bottle of wine and some snacks) See u Agai

Rei's apartment was very well located and you could find everything you need such as: markets, bars, restaurants and beach which was 5 minutes reached by foot. the apartment was clean and comfortable and it was very well equipped with all the amenities that a house has. Rei was very responsive and their hospitality was amazing. I will definitely choose them again. Thank you very much for everything!

We loved our stay for 2 months this summer and Jetmir is an amazing and very helpful host! It was a lovely place, fully equipped and the most comfortable bed we ever slept on. It is a very peaceful, beautiful, quiet place. We cook our own meals mostly and the kitchen was well equipped for a short or long stay. Internet was great and fast. People are friendly and there is so much beauty all around so we enjoyed our daily walks so close to the beach, canals, boardwalk with mountain and Lake views so nearby. A great spot for high season Europe away from huge crowds. Lots of great restaurants all around and so many fun swans and ducks. One of our favorite airbnb places of all time and we will be back and send our friends here too! Jetmir also helped us with transportation from Tirana to Lake Ohrid onto Montenegro for our next location. Fantastic host and place!!

Nous avons réserver le jour même et Astrid n’avais pas vu notre demande. Nous avons eu du mal à la contacter . Arriver sur place aucun soucis Astier nous as accueillis avec bienveillance . Ils ont etait très charmants avec nous . Nous avons pu garer la voiture dans la cour et faire connaissance avec une famille de tortue.

incredible place! the house is beautiful inside and out - much better then the pictures on the site, actually. Miroslav - is a phenomenon - I've been in over 100 airbnb's in my life, and never have I encountered such a host: 1. He came to pick us from Florina in Greece, 45 minutes after we called and said that we can't enter to Macedonia with our car. 2. He drove us to the market, to hike in the mountain, to town to pick up a car He is warm, kind, carrying and interesting to talk to Airbnb - give this guy a medal !

Πολύ ωραίο σπίτι , ευρύχωρο σε πολύ ήσυχη περιοχή μέσα στην φύση . Τρομερός ο κύριος Δημήτρης , μας καθοδήγησε άψογα από την κράτηση μέχρι να αποχωρήσουμε από το σπίτι. Θα το επισκεφτώ σίγουρα αν επισκεφτώ ξανά την περιοχή

We hebben 2 heerlijke weken gehad in Karali Apartments. We waren vooral blij met de ruime slaapkamer en de grote schaduwrijke veranda. Het was ook prettig dat er horren voor de ramen zaten in de kamer en de slaapkamers, waardoor we 's nachts de ramen tegen elkaar open konden zetten. We waardeerden ook dat er een waterkoker was. De locatie is perfect. Heel rustig, maar op loopafstand van het meer (1 km) waar ook een leuk en goed restaurant vlakbij is (Sopranos) Dichtbij Elshani van waaruit je mooi kunt wandelen. Dichtbij Pesjtani met een gezellig hondvriendelijk restaurant en mooi zicht op het meer, en The Bay of Bones en een kwartiertje rijden naar Ohrid. Aleksander en zijn vrouw zijn heel vriendelijke mensen die altijd snel reageerden op onze vragen en bij kleine ongemakken. Toen we met onze hond naar de dierenarts moesten en daardoor niet op tijd konden vertrekken, bood Aleksander ons een extra nacht aan zonder dat we daarvoor hoefden te betalen. Dank jullie wel

Besa и Petro потрясающие хозяева, они дадут вам отличные рекомендации для путешествий, а так же накормят потрясающим албанским завтраком каждое утро. Квартира очень уютная, есть все необходимое для отдыха, рядом озеро для прогулок, очень тихо и красиво вокруг. Очень рекомендуем!

Hello, it was a really star in Meglen' house. The place in front of the lake is so quite. The house is atypical but with a positive atmosphere. You can relax outside under the pergola. It's a lovely place ❤️. Thanks.

This is such an authentic place where you can really feel the beauty of nature and village life. The hosts, Fatmir and his wife, are incredible and made us feel at home from the second we arrived. About the food, which is all coming from their land, we can only say it was prepared with lots of love and tasted extremely good (and of course it was way too much). The environment is calming and all the sheep and chickens next to the house gave a peaceful feeling. Fatmir also took us on a walk with his sheep through their land and fruit garden, an experience to never forget. Absolutely highly recommended!!!
