35 private acres of forest on rolling hill terrain. Lots of wildlife nestled very close to the flat river; 30-40 minutes away from Grand Rapids. The Fred Meijer trail provides great biking or hiking opportunities. Lazy float tubing or kayaking down the flat river is very popular and only a short walk away. Horse back riding, golf courses, and an amazing local bakery all within a couple miles. And a fun sport court (basketball hoop, volleyball/badminton/pickelball net all right on site!

During your stay, you are welcome to wander through the barn and visit all the animals. We do not have a TV, however, the internet works great!

This was a lovely place to stay! It was perfect for a cottage core craft night. The pool was really nice and clean and the rest of the yard was gorgeous to hang out in. The animals we saw were so cute! Goats, a dog, very friendly kitty, and a couple beautiful peacocks who werent afraid to hang out at the pool with us! There are lots of ammenities and the apt is stocked full of towels or anything you might need. The host was also very friendly and helpful, and hosts some pretty cool looking art classes, from stainglass and jewlery, to soap making! We didn't have time to join, but they looked like they woild be a blast. 100% recommend

Great place for our entire family of 14. The kitchen had everything we needed to make our meals, bedrooms were good sized with bedding for all. The owner provided plenty of towels and washcloths in the bathrooms. Outside deck was large and had a Blackstone for cooking. They had several Adirondack chairs and a high top table/chairs to eat at. The swimming mat and slide in the lake was a huge hit with the kids. They swam on it sun up to sun down. We rented a pontoon and kept it for the week which was perfect for this beautiful lake. We walked into town everyday, such a cute city!! The response time for our needs/questions the day we got there was a little delayed due to them being away with poor reception, but they did respond at some point and helped us with our questions. I highly recommend this beautiful lake house!!!

Nice place and it worked well for our family of 7 adults although my daughter found it hard to sleep well on the couch. Enjoyed the hot tub and kayaks as well as being able to grill out. The dock is nice for fishing and has a stairs which made it great for using the kayaks. Do wish the lake was deeper off the end of the dock. Overall, our stay was a great experience!

Aaron is an excellent host, he replied to any of our questions within minutes. Aaron’s place was beautiful. The chickens and the goats were amazing to play with. Very relaxing and refreshing atmosphere along the river. Will be definitely back again.
