Bed and breakfast holiday rentals in Lake Nicaragua

I feel like I'm part of the family already. Amazing staff, great breakfast, large room, near to all the activities and action in Granada. They hire out motorcycles so it is super easy to go explore the surrounding villages

Beautiful accommodation directly on the lagoon. The food was very good and highly recommended. Communication was also excellent. When we needed a taxi on the last day, it was taken care of immediately.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Tatiana's place and can only recommend it. The room was spacious and cozy, also the kitchen was very well equipped. Tatiana was a helpful host, communicating with her was consistently positive. It was also great that we could easily rent a scooter through them. But we liked the terrace with the view over the surrounding banana plantations and the two volcanoes of the island!

Our adult family of four stayed in both the mango house and jungle house. Both of these places are fabulous - beautiful jungle surroundings, areas to hang out and observe the beauty, all kinds of fruit to try, an on-site restaurant (try the jackfruit stew), comfortable beds. The fact that this area has been mindfully reforested was what attracted us to this stay but the overall experience was amazing. We highly recommend!

This place was amazing! The staff was on point, the food was some of the best I had my entire trip in Nicaragua, the drinks were tasty, and the room was super cute. We were greeted with monkeys, beautiful views of the Laguna, and an incredible ambiance. Casa Marimba was decorated so thoughtfully and it looks like a storybook every single day that we woke up. I never wanted to leave and the photos do not do this place justice. I would come back here time and time again, and look forward to visiting again sometime in the future. Well done! Highly recommend. The staff were also noteworthy, friendly, and very accommodating. 5 Stars!

This was my favorite place I stayed in Granada. Such a quaint and beautiful spot. I stayed in the pool all night on one of the evenings I was there. The staff was so helpful and friendly and helped me figure out my transportation for my next stop in Nicaragua. I would definitely return on a trip back in Granada. It’s about a 10 minute walk to the main center and I walked it everyday and felt safe. (I was a solo female traveler).Took $1 taxis after 9pm. Breakfast was also good!

Mary Jane’s place is like an oasis in the town of San Juan Del Sur! The home is behind a large gate and you walk in from a bustling town to a quiet peaceful space with a serene pool and lush environment. The home is shared and the room has a very comfortable large bed. Mary Jane is very attentive to all your needs. Breakfast was delicious and she is like the nicest host I ever met. You are in good hands if you stay!

Michael's place was perfect for myself and my family. The house was absolutely gorgoeous, and the view was incredible! Michael was extremely friendly and helpful, providing many helpful local recommdations for activities and transportation. Highly recommend Michael's place if you are visiting San Juan area.

Beautiful place to stay and relax for a few days. The lake is stunning and you can take kayaks out at no extra cost. We enjoyed having breakfast with other guests and playing with the very friendly dogs that are around! Donaldo was very helpful and was always there to help with any questions. Only thing to watch out for with staying on the lake is that restaurants can close quite early in the evening (especially on Sunday), so make sure you don't accidently end up without dinner!

We stayed in a beautiful room. The people were so accommodating to help us check in and make sure we were comfortable and on top of that the food was some of the best we had in Nicaragua! Everything is pretty much homemade from the burger buns to the breakfast. Best yogurt my wife and I ever had! Your stay comes with kayaking and other lovely amenities on lake apoyo which is obviously the highlight of your stay. Basically a little jungle paradise with lots of space to read, relax and decompress. Before our check out we even had an amazing massage by Carmen and Lydia who were so kind and loving. They truly made the experience magical. Plus they have AC! Honestly this will probably be our little hide out when we come back 🤭it’s a great place to call home while you’re away from home.

I liked my stay here. Bed was comfortable and I actually ended up extending my stay by a day which was no problem at all after messaging Cynthia. It is a little far from the center of Moyogalpa so make sure you have a means of transportation (there are scooters for rent at a good rate).

Much more beautiful than expected.. wonderful athmosphere in an incredible house with lovely people working there, beautiful rooms and bathrooms with flowers! We will definitely come back to this perfect place! Thank you very much!!

One of the cleanest places we’ve stayed at on the island. Noise from dogs and the church were to be expected and are mostly unavoidable on Ometepe. The patio and hammocks make it a relaxing stay also. Very very conveniently located to stores and restaurants and the port.

We loved our stay. The place is even more beautiful than on the pictures. It's well located for surfing and eating out, but without too much noise.

The place is just as described in the ad, a relaxing option to spend a couple of days away from the noise of the city on the beach, without the distraction of crowds. Our Host Karina and all the hotel staff were super friendly from our arrival and were always looking out for us, giving us recommendations for eating at the hotel restaurant, as well as other activities and nearby places to visit. The cleanliness is admirable, the whole team makes sure that the whole place is sparkling. As the only point of improvement, I think the parking is limited for the number of rooms they have available. Breakfast was excellent, with an adequate portion and a very good flavor. 100% recommended, we hope to visit you again.

So I stayed here in September during low season. There was only me and another guest. Thank God for the guitar and Ukulele because it aloud me to be creative and play some tunes while staring up into the stars. And Sarah the Manager was an amazing host and also kept me company and we had some really good laughs. honestly Sarah made my stay a memorable one. I definitely recommend this place. Also, I believe the Owner gives back to the community and owns a martial arts studio in San juan and offers free training to the locals. (that was my understanding from a reliable source)

Great spot to relax and rest in a clean room and bathroom with artesanal soap. Gaby and Dany are really nice hosts. Best moment was meeting their visiting parrot 🦜. So close to one of my favorite beaches!

Martina is an exceptional host. attentive to her customers. receptive to communications. Had difficulties with taxis she immediately directed towards the buses . She knows are grenada. taxes, tuctucs, buses. she welcomes her home with wide open arms. ns brings to her ptite grocery store near her home. she is attentive to our needs, as I had never lived. my experience at home is even better than I would have imagined. in my eyes, she is no longer a host, but a friend. her countryside with her horse, her pig, her chickens, roosters , ducks and her dogs, have been a magical experience of my visit

Quiet and bautiful place outside of the loud City of San Juan. Evrybody is very friendly. Just a short drive to the beach, everything sweet and simple.
