Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Lake Lucerne

This place is amazing. The property is big with all the amenities and a great garden. The 3 bathrooms make the stay very convenient. It is located very close to the lake and lucerne city center. The owner, Giuseppe, is friendly, provided all needed instructions and set up the cot for us. There is also one parking spot available. Definitely a great stay in Lucerne.

Stayed for a week in May with our 3 teenage kids, the whole family enjoyed the breathtaking views, the traditional Swiss feel, lots of local adventures We will all miss the sounds of the cow bells 😍 already planning a winter trip back, Nicole was a wonderful host and we couldn’t have wished for more

Beautiful home with modern appliances, pool, and gorgeous view. Definitely recommend for couples or families! Thank you to the owner for accommodating us and being extremely responsive.

For 6 of us, it is a great place to stay. You will not have an issue at all if you have your own transportation to go around, which is what we did during the 3 nights there. We cooked dinner for all three nights for 6 of us at the house and enjoyed the view. We have already missed this house now as we are in Interlaken for another 4 nights with a different style of Airbnb. After sharing our photos and experience of the house with my sisters, they are interested in booking the same house for their future trip to Europe.

Fantastic views of lake and mountains from every room, patio and balcony. Great location/easy access to all attractions in the Berner Oberland area with all the amenities needed. Highly recommend!

Der Aufenthalt bei Jacquelin in Weggis war einfach traumhaft! Die Unterkunft liegt direkt am See und bietet eine atemberaubende Aussicht – besonders von der Terrasse aus, auf der man wunderbar entspannen kann. Alles war sehr sauber, liebevoll eingerichtet und mit vielen kleinen Details versehen, die den Aufenthalt besonders gemacht haben. Man hat sich direkt wie Zuhause gefühlt! Ein absoluter Tipp für alle, die Ruhe, Natur und Gastfreundschaft suchen.

We had a lovely stay at Riad’s - easy check in, extremely clean home and a very responsive host. We really appreciated the amenities, which included a washer, dishwasher and a Dyson hairdryer among others (have to note this in particular, as many hotels have weak / inefficient hair dryers, so to have a Dyson while traveling, as at home, is a game changer). Pictures do not do the view justice - the lake and surrounding mountains make for a lovely milieu. Highly recommend & would love to return someday!

Yvonne communicated with us often. Carmen met us at the house and explained everything about the house and area to us. We absolutely loved the house on 3 levels and amazing views from all 3 levels. The spa tub, sauna, and cold plunge were the icing on the cake. There is so much to do in Vitznau/Mt Rigi Spa/Ferry around the lake, and so much more. We will stay here again, soon!

הדירה של אנדריאה ורטו הייתה נעימה מסודרת נקיה ומאובזרת היטב הדירה ביתית והיה בה הכל! הופתענו מהגודל לטובה. יש חלל משותף לחדר שינה והסלון חלל נפרד למטבח ושירותים בסוף המסדרון. הנוף מהמטבח מושלם! נוף לאגם ולהרים! המרפסת מפנקת עם נוף להר ועם ערסל. אנדריאה ורטו היו מקסימים קיבלו אותנו בחיוך וכל מה שהיינו צריכות הביאו לנו באהבה. נהנו מאוד ממליצות בחום!

My wife and I couldn’t believe what we were seeing as we drove up —absolutely stunning views that set the perfect tone for our stay. The drive to the home alone is worth mentioning, with breathtaking scenery all along the way. As soon as we walked in, we were immediately impressed by how spotless everything was, and the view from inside the home was just as incredible. The space has a modern cabin feel that was cozy and stylish. It’s incredibly peaceful, making it the perfect place to truly disconnect and unwind. Everything was comfortable and well-maintained; we didn’t have any issues during our stay. The hosts were very friendly and helpful, and made it clear they were available if we needed anything, which made us feel even more at ease. If you’re looking for a quiet retreat with access to nature, there are some great hiking and biking trails nearby. We highly recommend this place and would definitely come back! The Beckenreid home was a paradise- right from way before arriving, Corina was so amazing with her communication and help in any way. She picked me and dropped me , always checked to make sure I was safe. The little gestures- chocolates/ tea / coffee/ the flowers/ candles...all so heart warming. Her family too is the most beautiful and so friendly and always helpful The apartment, location surroundings lake and mountain views - Heaven on earth. I will definitely be coming back to stay at Corina's

Notre séjour s’est très bien passé. Le logement est identique à la description, facile à trouver (et se garer également), et est très propre. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour et recommandons ce logement si vous venez visiter Lucerne

Believe the hype! Perfect place to stay for our family of 5 (5 yr old, 3 yr old, 1 yr old). Sabine went above and beyond to ensure that we were comfortable after our travel from the States, going as far as to grabbing us a few groceries so we wouldn’t have to go out the night we arrived. Sabine’s place was clean and had all the things we needed including a crib, high chair, changing table and toys for the kids. The location was perfect and a close walk to the bus stop and the port. We were only a quick boat ride away from Lucerne and other major towns. Also a block or two away are a small grocery store, butcher, and great bakery. Book Sabine’s place, you won’t regret it.

Die Wohnung von Nicolas mit der Aussicht direkt am See ist die Wucht. Sie ist sehr gut (z.B. die Küche) ausgestattet, mal fühlt sich sofort zu Hause. Nicolas ist der perfekte Gastgeber, alle Infos kommen unaufgefordert von ihm, ist trotzdem immer sehr gut zu erreichen. Nur zu empfehlen!

We stayed at Patrick’s place for 3 nights and our stay was absolutely wonderful. It was our first time in Switzerland and right from the time we booked his place, he helped with several questions we had. The place itself was extremely clean, well equipped and perfect for our family!! We will definitely come back here if we ever come back to Switzerland!

Our family had a great stay at Tina’s place. The home was clean, well-maintained, and felt very safe. All the necessary amenities were provided, including fresh towels, clean bed sheets, and linens. My daughter especially loved the cozy bunk bed—it was a big hit! We would definitely recommend Tina’s place to anyone who doesn’t mind a short bus ride from the main station.

El entorno del apartamento de Doris es simplemente MARAVILLOSO, un lugar especial que hará que sientas una pena inmensa cuando tengas que marcharte. The area is really beautiful. They were two seperate rooms with a kitchen. The hosts were really friendly and also provided us with extra Ventilators due to the terrific heat. Over all, Nice stay.

My family had a lovely stay here! Remi’s instruction is clear and detailed. His place is clean and we were able to cook a few meals. Easy transport from the train station via walking or bus+short walk. Very close to Museggmauer, which was fun to visit! Remi’s place is in a quiet neighborhood but close to all the attractions. Great location!

The Airbnb has a spectacular location just by the lakeside and the views are incredible. The apartment is well equipped with all amenities and the kitchen has all the equipments needed to comfortably cook your own food. For self check in we had a bit of difficulty cause the mailbox was not labelled on the outside saying Romantic Lakeside Apt hence we were unsure if we were in the right place, had to open all the mailboxes and check, that wasted a bit of time. The host is quite friendly but not too quick with the responses but we did not encounter any great difficulty as such. I would definitely recommend this Airbnb, Vitznau is a very pleasant town and we really enjoyed taking the ferry to Lucerne. Overall it was a great experience, the scenic location of the apartment really makes one happy!

Wir haben uns wirklich sehr willkommen gefühlt, so nette und herzliche Gastgeber kann man sich nur wünschen. Die Unterkunft ist schön ausgestattet, total sauber und gepflegt und rund ums Haus ein wunderschöner Garten und insgesamt eine ruhige, sichere Wohngegend. Schade, dass wir nur für eine Nächtigung hier waren, es hatte uns gut gefallen, länger zu bleiben.
