Holiday rentals with a hot tub in Lake Lucerne

It’s amazing place to stay.

Loved our stay, truly beautiful home and perfect for our family (2 adult couples couples and a family of 3 with 6 year old). Child friendly with safe bedding and available books and toys to play with. Great location 5 minutes from train station and 2 blocks walk from COOP grocery store. A few things to get used to as being from USA appliances are slightly different, but we knew that ahead of time. Also thankful for the previous review that mentioned needing to buy additional toilet paper if staying more than a few days, it was easy to pick up with our groceries. Hosts were very responsive and kind with the questions we had. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and will remember our trip fondly and our stay here.

We only stayed here for one night but we wish we could have stayed longer - it’s in a beautiful setting, and the AirBnB has everything you need. The hot tub is private and the area is very quiet. Hopefully one day we will stay here again!

Dieser Bungalow ist einfach ein absolutes Schmuckstück. Jedes Detail in diesem Haus zeugt von viel Liebe und Stil. Wir haben uns auf Anhieb total wohl und willkommen gefühlt. So war der Whirlpool bereits aufgeheizt und parat für uns. Die Küche lässt keine Wünsche offen, alles ist da. Weiter lädt das bequeme Sofa zu gemütlichen Abenden ein und später wartet ein sehr bequemes Bett auf einen. Fabienne ist eine herzliche Gastgeberin, die proaktiv kommuniziert und sehr grosszügig ist. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder!

Thierry’s place was wonderful! We spent 5 full days there and absolutely loved it. It’s in the beautiful countryside about 20 minutes from Zurich city center. Plenty of space and we loved using the pool, hot tub, and sauna. Would absolutely stay there again! One thing to note - do not ask for them to call you a taxi as they charged us 130 Swiss francs when an Uber is only about 40.

We loved our stay at FoundationEGG just outside of Thun! The farmhouse was clean, charming, and had stunning views of the Alps. It was the perfect base for hiking and exploring nearby Swiss towns. Ben and Tabea were wonderful hosts, and the stay offered an authentic and unforgettable Swiss countryside experience!

It was a wonderful time at this accommodation. The host made it even more comfortable through his speedy communication. The location is simply breathtaking and a perfect spot to enjoy a relaxing vacation. The house is very nicely decorated and every small details is thought of, that you see only in architecture magazines. To be honest it is a truly hidden gem. I strongly recommend staying at this accommodation and encourage you to be mindful to the effort of the host. This and accommodation like this is the reason why I love Airbnb.

Lidiya is a great host and we loved her place. The only issue which we felt is the air conditioning in the house which in summer is a must.

This is definitely the best Airbnb experience my wife and I had. The place is super nice and private with a 2 person jacuzzi and a sauna. There is no connection between his house and the rooms you have so it feels like you have your own place. Very close to Zurich and Lucerne. Philipp is also probably the best host we have had with Airbnb. He invited us into home on the first night for some coffee and cake and then said we were welcome to come back for breakfast the next morning. He also lent me a winter coat for skiing, because I didn't have one, as well as some outlet converters. Not to mention the place was very well stocked with some free food and drinks. He goes above and beyond to make sure you have a pleasant experience and wrote us a list of recommendations ahead of time of things to do which helped us in planning our excursions. If you're looking in this area I doubt you could find a better Airbnb for the price. 10/10

Die Lage des Hauses ist das absolute Highlight. Die Aussicht ist einzigartig. Bei Sonnenuntergang und mit der Sicht auf den See und das ganze Bergpanorama zu Abendessen, war unbeschreiblich schön. Auch den warmen Hotpot haben wir mehrmals genossen - nach einer langen Wanderung ist er sehr entspannend. Das Haus ist wie beschrieben - die Zimmer sind sehr schön eingerichtet, die Küche bestens ausgestattet und die Badezimmer sind zweckdienlich aber einwandfrei. Wenn es ein einziger Kritikpunkt gibt, dann sind es die Betten, die für Doppelbetten sehr klein sind und etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Alles in allem waren wir aber super happy in der Unterkunft und können das Haus wärmstens weiterempfehlen. Auch die Kommunikation mit Natalia war hervorragend. Sie antwortet super schnell und ist sehr hilfsbereit. Vielen Dank Natalia für die gute Gastfreundschaft!

Wir haben uns in der Villa, nach dem Wow-Effekt beim eintreten, sofort wohlgefühlt. Auch der Kontakt zum Gastgeber war sympathisch und zuvorkommend. Trotz schlechtem Wetter konnte man in den Pool und Whirlpool. Der Fitnessraum ist super ausgestattet - wir waren beschäftigt ^^ außerdem ein großes Lob an die Reinigungskräfte, es war alles blitzblank und die Schlafzimmer waren sehr schön hergerichtet.

Séjour dans un lieu magnifique... rien à redire ! J'y retournerai certainement.

Look no further for the best views of the mountains. Forget the hotels this spot is simply the best. Greti made us feel so special as well and had great recommendations. I would come back anytime !!

We loved our stay here. The house was incredible, as pictured with enough room for our party of 8 including 5 adults, 1 teen, 1 toddler, and 1 baby. The ability to request a pack and play for infant and toys for my toddler was a game changer. The space was thoughtful and enough room for everyone to relax. The town is very quiet and sweet. You can easily walk to Migros and local restaurants. It was perfect for day trips to Thun, Lucerne, Bern, Zurich. It was the perfect landing spot for our group. Laundry is always a plus! Just a couple notes if you have kiddos and plan to do all public transportation, (not a big deal if you have a car but we didn't want to travel with car seats): the home is all tile throughout, not a lot of space to roll around if you have crawling babe etc. The house was absolutely walkable with a stroller from bus stations but don't follow google maps on the 345 bus stop, it'll take a shortcut up to the house that is all stairs. Take the 346 bus instead.

Priskus and Silvia were wonderful hosts - they were very friendly and welcoming to us. We availed of their Swiss breakfast and it was one of the best meals we had in Switzerland! The location was around an hour drive from larger cities like Lucerne, Zurich and St Gallen and we found the location to be convenient, but also quiet enough (away from the bustle of busier areas). It had a great mountain view and several good restaurants and bakeries nearby. A lovely place to stay at!

Wir waren schon zum zweiten mal Gast in dieser wunderschönen Alpenhütte und das sagt wahrscheinlich schon alles! :) Unser erster Aufenthalt in der Vorweihnachtszeit 2023 hätte mit frischem Neuschnee kaum schöner sein können. Auch diesmal Anfang März hatten wir traumhaftes Wetter - noch etwas Schnee, jeden Tag Sonnenschein und blauen Himmel - da können wir uns kaum einen erholsameren Ort als Cortinella vorstellen. Das Alpenpanorama in der Ruhe der Natur und natürlich der Hot Tub sind die Highlights in diesem Urlaubsparadies, wo es uns an nichts gefehlt hat - außer vielleicht genügend Urlaubstagen ;-) Hoffentlich kommen wir bald wieder!

Wir waren zu acht und haben eine super Zeit in Zuhause von Luana verbracht. Alles war wie beschrieben und das Beste am ganzen war für uns die Sauna - der perfekte Abschluss nach einer schönen Wanderung. Immer wieder gerne!

Wunderschöne kleine Blockhütte auf einem Bauernhof. Die Gastgeberin war super freundlich und hat uns gleich empfangen und alles erklärt. Die Tiere die dort leben, sind alle sehr zahm und die meisten lassen sich streicheln. Das Badezimmer liegt hauptsächlich frei, dementsprechend hat es viele Blätter auf dem Boden, was uns aber überhaupt nicht gestört hat. Es ist eben alles Natur pur und abgesehen vom gelegentlichen Fluglärm, war es sehr ruhig und gemütlich. Obwohl es bei uns etwas kühl war, konnten wir bis spät in die Nacht draussen am Feuer sitzen. Das Frühstück war grandios und viel zu viel für zwei Personen. Wir hätten gern mehr gegessen. :) Erholung = 100% Romantik = 100% Weiterempfehlung = 100% Vielen Dank und hoffentlich bis irgendwann mal wieder :)

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit in Matthias‘ Blockhaus. Die Wohnung ist mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet und mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht. Matthias hat uns alles sehr gut erklärt (Heizen mit Holzofen, Sauna etc.) und war auch sonst bei Fragen sehr schnell erreichbar und zuvorkommend. Wir können die Unterkunft jedem der eine ruhige, erholsame Zeit haben möchte sehr empfehlen. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Had a lovely new year’s weekend at Chalet Oz. Super location close to Rigi. The place is very cozy and had everything we needed! Karen and Philipp are great hosts who gave clear instructions. Would recommend!
