The guesthouse Ludwig is unique for its location. The name itself came from our address as we are located at Ludwig Mlokosevichi #1. Ludwig Mlokosevichi was the Polish scientist, who initiated the founding of Lagodekhi protected areas, our treasure and pride. Because of this we decided to call the guesthouse Ludwig. There is Lagodekhi protected areas in a 100 meters walking distance. We try to make guest feel like a local, offer homemade breakfast and he dinner, joyful piano evenings.

Nice spot in the forest. Perfect for a day or two of rest. However, it lacks the sense of community promoted by the project. People are barely talking to each other and the vibe is a bit off. The guests as well as the staff are not going out of their way to make you feel comfortable. Maybe it’s a cultural thing.

A beautiful little retreat in the country run by a group of very cool, very friendly staff who cook three meals of great food every day for you. If you like cabins in nature and nice people this is a perfect place to stay. Watch out for the naughty goats.

The Ludwig Guesthouse is an excellent place to stay. It's in a cozy and calm location, and the entrance to the Lagodekhi nature reserve is just a few steps away. There is a lovely, cozy garden with a hammock on the property. The apartment itself is comfortable and functional. The bathroom is also very good, and there is a terrific outdoor kitchen. But the real magic lies in the hosts: Ketevan, Otar, and Mariam. They are kind, hospitable, and responsible. One remarkable thing is how they cook and prepare dishes. Ketevan is a true magician when it comes to food. I have never eaten anything so delicious, not even in Tbilisi. If I were a Michelin representative, I would give this place all the stars. Otar's wine is great, too. He is a master of his craft. A deep bow and great gratitude to this wonderful family!
