Lovely little gite in the most stunning area at the foot of the castle and overlooking a walnut orchard. Close to many towns and areas of outstanding beauty and interest such as La Roque-Gageac and the ancient fort, Gran Roc with its incredible caves and Salat. Very peaceful place to stay with a delightful bistro 5 minutes walk and walking distance to the river and beach/canoe hire

Charlotte et Jérôme sont très accueillants et disponibles, tout est pensé pour qu'on s'y sente bien, la location est très fonctionnelle ! Arrivée et départ autonomes pratique. Le cadre est très agréable, pas de vis à vis ni de nuisance sonore. La maison est parfaitement propre, la literie confortable. Très bon séjour, je recommande !

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour, au calme et au vert. La maison est très bien équipée et très propre. Jocelyne a pensé à tout, elle est très accueillante et disponible. Il y a même une plancha pour profiter d’un repas à l’extérieur. Nous avons pu garer notre voiture facilement, dans l’enceinte de la propriété, qui possède un portail. Je recommande vivement le logement de Jocelyne !

Petit gite au calme idéal pour un couple, proche des sites à visiter et la piscine idéale pour se decontracter après les ballades du jour. Très bon accueil, des infos bien utiles. Séjour parfait.

Le Gîte Le Cantou, hosted by Patricia and Didier, is a delightful find that made our stay truly special. Their hospitality is spot-on—discreet yet always there when you need them, creating a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. The gîte is impeccably clean, which immediately put us at ease. While the kitchen is quite small, the cookware is a standout, with high-quality pots, pans, and utensils that make cooking a pleasure despite the compact space. The location is a real highlight. Nestled in a quiet private garden, the gîte feels like a peaceful retreat, yet it’s just a short walk to nearby shops. The balance of seclusion and convenience is perfect. The walking trails right from the doorstep are stunning, winding through lush green countryside that feels refreshing and serene. The local farmers’ markets are a treat, packed with fresh produce and delicious regional specialties that inspired our meals. Patricia and Didier have created a lovely, comfortable escape, and we’d happily return.

Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable chez Mia. Le logement était très propre et fidèle à la description. Le cadre est apaisant et permet une totale déconnexion. Mia est une hôte très réactive. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

Un séjour exceptionnel : une maison magnifique, des hôtes très sympathiques et un très beau jardin ! Nous avons apprécié passer du temps sur la terrasse car le calme et la vue sont apaisants ! Nos 2 petits chiens ont également bien profité de l'extérieur clôturé. Beaucoup de jolis villages à visiter dans les environs et de balades à faire. Merci à Nathalie et à Bernard pour leur accueil et leur gentillesse !

Le logement est situé en pleine campagne, au calme; idéal pour se reposer, même le temps d'une seule nuit. L'accueil par les propriétaires était très sympathique et le fait d'avoir une bière au frais dans le réfrigérateur en arrivant était un petit plus appréciable.

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit in dem idyllisch gelegenen Apartment von Christiane und Bernard. Alles war wie beschrieben, der großzügige Platz und die einmalige Aussicht haben unsere Vorstellungen sogar noch übertroffen. Die Gastgeber sind ganz besonders freundlich und hilfsbereit und haben auf unsere Fragen innerhalb kürzester Zeit reagiert. Der Ort ist der perfekte Ausgangspunkt, um die an Attraktionen und Sehenswürdigkeiten reiche Umgebung zu erkunden. Wir bedauern nur, dass wir kein Französisch sprechen, wir hätten uns gerne länger mit den charmanten Gastgebern unterhalten 😉.

We throughly enjoyed our stay. We were met by Laurent's colleague who showed us how to lock the door from the inside. We didn't realize that locking the door from the outside (and unlocking it) would be such a challenge. But Laurent and his wife were readily available both times we needed instructions. The bed was very comfortable and the kitchen was exceptionally well equipped. In addition to the Nespresso, we appreciated the electric coffee maker with filters provided so we could make a pot of coffee. What stood out- 2 towels plus face cloth per person, the terrace, and a typewritten booklet by the owner with specific info in French and English about the apartment and area. Highly recommend this apartment and we would definitely stay again!

Le contact a été facile et fluide avec Jérémy. Très souriant, ponctuel et clair dans ses explications, il sait vous mettre à l'aise d'emblée. L'appartement correspondait en tous points à la description, il est moderne, bien équipé, décoré avec goût et est bien plus grand dans la réalité. Il est également très bien situé à Brive, l'hyper centre est à une dizaine de minutes à pieds. Enfin, la place de parking est un indéniable atout.

Anyone who doesn’t give this place 5 stars is crazy. The view is BEAUTIFUL. Corinne and Keith have thought of everything to make it a perfect stay.

Chez Thierry et Fanny, on se sent comme à la maison. Pas de prise de tête, ambiance familiale et décontractée tout en préservant l'intimité de chacun. On a passé un excellent séjour. On reviendra avec plaisir.

Perfekte Lage direkt an der Dordogne, man ist quasi mit den Füßen im Wasser. Wir waren in der oberen Wohnung mit einem wintergartenähnlichen Vorbau mit aufschiebbaren Fenstern, sodass zu egal welcher Jahreszeit die Aussicht auf den Fluss fantastisch ist. Dort, an dem großen Tisch sitzend, kann man essen, abends ein Glas trinken oder einfach nur dem Treiben auf dem Fluss (nur Kanus/ Kajaks, keinerlei motorbetriebene Boote) zuschauen. Die kleine Terrasse ist ebenfalls zur Flusseite hin ausgerichtet, aber auch im großen Garten kann man picknicken oder Liegestühle nutzen. Das kleine Kiosk am Strand vor der Wohnung hat ausgezeichnete kleine Gerichte. Wir waren auch von der Umgebung begeistert, da man täglich verschiedene Besichtigungen machen kann. Hier war einfach alles super. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder. Danke, liebe Celia für Dein unglaubliches Entgegenkommen und Deine Gastfreundschaft!

Une hôte accueillante, un appartement très propre et accueillant, décoration soignée, une place de parking abritée et surtout idéalement placé pour rejoindre le centre historique en moins de 10 minutes à pied.

My wife and I stayed at this apartment recently for seven nights. Communication with the host, Muriel, was excellent from start to finish. Check in and out was straight forward as Muriel picked us up at the station and her husband dropped us off. The apartment is located in a quiet residential area, only a two or three minute walk from the centre. It is well equipped for making meals, despite not having an oven, has a lovely balcony and is quiet, especially at night. It also has the bonus of an underground parking space although a small car is required. I would certainly recommend this apartment as a base for staying in beautiful Sarlat and visiting surrounding areas.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour de 2 nuits dans le logement d'Arnault. Le Airbnb est propre, bien agencé et Arnault nous a fourni tout ce qu'il faut pour un bébé ce qui est très appréciable en voyage. La piscine est magnifique et très bien équipée. Arnault est un hôte sympatique et discret. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir si l'occasion se présente.
