Warm& inviting. I love love love that it was 420 friendly, the hot tub was always at temp. Adorable home that looks small on the outside but large on the inside.

Vivian was a wonderful host! She was friendly and her hospitality was beyond compare. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to others looking for a respite away from the hustle of every day life. The woods behind the cabin were fun to explore and extremely peaceful. This was even better than the description on Air Bnb. I am so glad I had a chance to unwind and reset here

This home is absolutely beautiful! We had everything we needed. The views were perfect. Stargazing was great as well, the telescope was a lot of fun. The location is great for the Dunes and great hiking. The three patio areas are awesome as well. 10/10! One of my favorite Airbnb’s I’ve stayed in!

This place is super peaceful. Our cabin had a steam shower & sauna, this was so nice to have as this was a work trip. Bed was very comfortable. I Would highly recommend this place for a get out of the city & recharge getaway! Beautiful area. Thanks for hosting us Vivian.

Neat, secluded, off-grid cabin. If you are there in the winter, be aware of the requirement to run a gas generator for 2-3 hours per day. This kinda eliminates the peace and quiet a bit. Also, there are many exterior cameras on the home, so it doesn’t feel super private if that’s your vibe.

Had a wonderful stay at this cabin again. Needed to get away and disconnect for a while and this is the place to go. Place looked great, was clean, and exactly as I remembered. Saw a few deer and lots of birds. Went on hikes walks around the roads here as well to connect with nature again. Loved it and can’t wait to hopefully stay again!

Great place, great hosts, and great location for visiting the sand dunes! Cute cabin just outside "downtown" Fort Garland. Well appointed for us with convenient access to Great Sand Dunes National Park, Alamosa CO which does have a few more restaurants, and the Sand Dunes Recreation hot spring pool and greenhouse. Let me tell you, the pool was a highlight even considering how incredible sledding down the sand dunes was, and how beautiful the property and views where the cabin is set. If you're on the fence for some reason, just book it! You won't be disappointed. If you plan to sled the dunes, rent local and don't bring something in my from Walmart. Heed the rental CO's instructions, especially on waxing, for the best and fastest ride. We loved everything so much more than we even expected to and we'll be looking to come back in the fall and either stay here again or in one of this host's other places.

Place was awesome! Jarad was very hospitable & helpful. Glad he was able to accommodate us with our fur babies as we had an rv breakdown & it makes having to get accommodation for fur babies that make them feel uncomfortable comfortable. We left there feeling homesick. ** other than the sulfur smell in water. It’s manageable.

A little slice of heaven couldn't be more accurate. This cabin was practically out of a dream for our big family to stay in and enjoy ourselves. I've never had such a well equipped kitchen at an air BNB and the house was equally as hospitable. Erin was also gracious enough to give us a late check out since we had a baby with us and we were trying to line up nap time.

Corinne was available to walk us through the home this was very helpful as we got in late. The beds were very comfortable, there was lots of space to stretch out. Well stocked kitchen. The entire home was very well taken care of and super clean. Will definitely stay again on our next golf trip. Highly recommended!

This is a wonderful, simple cabin with a really great outdoor space right on the river. It's an old cabin with old features that give it character, so don't expect new build amenities. It does have all of your basic needs. It was clean when we arrived, and the host contact communicated with us prior to our arrival. Google/Apple maps does not plot it correctly. Follow the directions given at booking. My family of 5 would absolutely book this again for another Cuchara visit.

The cabin was exactly what we needed and the surroundings were so pretty. The host, Vivian, really outdid herself. She was super responsive, kind and took care of us like we were family. She prepared meals for us that were delicious, and this gesture was more than we ever could have imagined. All around, great experience!

The cabin was perfect for our group of seven. There was plenty of space to spread out, but we often gathered in the cozy kitchen and family area. The main room’s fireplace was a highlight, with plenty of wood provided for evening fires. The deck offered a peaceful place to read, relax, and reconnect, with ample seating and cushions. Having the river right in the backyard was a real bonus—shallow enough for wading and soothing to hear at night with the windows open. The outdoor firepit made for fun nights with s’mores and family stories. A short drive to Cuchara gave us access to mini-golf, shops, and the Dog Bar, a lively spot for food and drinks. Blue Lake nearby was perfect for fishing with the kids. A wonderful, relaxing getaway!

Quiet and peaceful setting. Nice clean house, felt at home. Horses and a giant mule came to visit. We will be coming back.

The Baby Bear Cabin was just what we needed. Very Clean with a comfortable Bed that was Prefect for Us. It was walking distance to Cucharas little downtown with gift shops and 2 amazing Restaurants The Dog Bar and Grill and The Yacht Club. We enjoyed sitting out on the cabins Deck listening to the wind rattling the aspens. The Cabin was like a walk back in time which we Loved. We were looking for a relaxing vacation and we definitely found it with the Baby Bear. Edward was a Awesome host and had a quick response when we would massage him. His Cabin is definitely a Treasure in the mountains with History.. Thank you Edward for allowing us and Roxie to stay in the Historic Baby Bear Cabin in Cuchara Colorado. We will be coming back for visit.

Easy to find, and easy check in. Woke up to deer around us every morning. Great size for the 4 of us.

Michael's house was exactly as pictured online. It was a beautiful house in a nice, quiet neighborhood. Michael and Matthew (co-host) were both so nice. The house is somewhat remote (which is what we wanted) but easy to get to. I highly recommend it and Michael's great hospitality!
