Just home from a magical week in this property. 3 generations and everyone enjoyed. The location is wonderful- a very short walk to either the beautiful beach or great food shops/centre of the village. The description does not do this property justice! It is large, stylish and very well equipped for families. We have already been discussing returning!

Excellent second stay in Marie-Christine's pretty house who is a very nice host. The house has all the necessary amenities. The bedding is very comfortable and we are sensitive to it. A veranda allows you to soak up the sun and brings appreciable warmth to the month of April which is still cool. The beach just behind the house is accessed by a path that runs along the house. The location of the house is perfect (quiet and very close to the center and tennis club that we frequent a lot). We will definitely return for a moment of relaxation and assured relaxation. This little house is perfect for holidays! Everything is qualitative, comfortable and neat, the equipment is well thought out, there is space, the decor of the house is very nice and refined, access to the garden is a real pleasure, with all the garden furniture available. A house in which you want to spend time! It is located in a very quiet neighborhood, but close to the center of the village on foot and the beach. Free parking 50 m away is very convenient. Alain is a welcoming, pleasant, attentive and very discreet host. You can go there with your eyes closed, beautiful holidays guaranteed!

The house perfectly reflects the description and Jeanne is really a caring person giving advices and sharing also her knowledge and tips ans tricks about the regions. The house was super clean. The house is perfectly located, 3 minutes walk from the daily market with local producers and from The haven and the restaurants. The street is super quiet as only accessible to people living in the street. Ars en Ré was for us the best town as it combines the small shops, some restaurants, the daily market and you can reach the other towns easily by bike. We had a great week in Jeanne’s house.

We had a lovely stay with family in this villa, welcoming with its refined decoration, beautiful garden and beautiful size swimming pool. The plancha and the sheltered terrace are ideal for summer meals.

We stayed in a group of 8 for a week in winter in this very spacious and comfortable place. The reality is even more beautiful than the photos. The house is nestled on the edge of the forest, you can walk through it to access a very beautiful sandy beach. The vast outdoor space is certainly very pleasant in summer. A big thank you to Michel who gave us a warm and efficient welcome. If you're looking for a beautiful, comfortable and quiet house, don't hesitate!

Beautiful, large, well laid out and tastefully decorated house. Terrace with a very pleasant reclosable pool. Close to the center of Ars. We had a great week there with 9 people.

Thomas and Barton's place is as described in previous reviews and we were pleasantly surprised at the bright and fresh decor on arrival. Centrally located within the island, it is an ideal base for cycling yet just far enough away from the hustle of St. Martin. All kitchen equipment was as expected and the two ring hob confirmed as in pictures. The clock chimes (silent at night) in the adjacent clock tower added character. We loved them. Thomas and Barton were knowledgeable, helpful and engaging hosts who maintained our privacy. The property is managed by Christopher and his team. It has out recommendation and we will happily return given the chance!

We all enjoyed your beautiful house. We appreciated the artistic style of the place and the relaxed feel of somewhere that is loved very much. We appreciated the design of the place and the inside and outside spaces, the generous amount of wonderful kitchen equipment, the games cupboard, the dartboard, and most of all the wonderful swimming pool was really enjoyed by everyone. We enjoyed the location very much. Being able to easily walk to the daily market, to the beach or to cafe's and restaurants lent joy and ease to our stay. Our week here in June was fantastic, the house was absolutely gorgeous and the host was so good at communication if we needed help with anything! The town centre is a 10 minute walk with lovely restaurants and shops. The beach is a short cycle away and there are loads of lovely beaches a little further along the coast too. The pool had a cover on it which was great as we had small children with us. Would highly recommend.

Very nice family stay with good weather, everyone enjoyed the safe pool for children, very clean rental with three bathrooms with shower, so no waste of time waiting for everyone. Marie-Noelle is a very warm and welcoming person. I recommend the rental, because it's very quiet and close to shops.

Our stay at Emilie’s place was great! The house is very clean and modern with a lovely garden area which was perfect for our little one. 10 minute walk to the beach was perfect. Lovely quiet town which was walkable from the house. Great location to get to nearby towns. We couldn’t use the pool unfortunately due to it being very cold, I would be mindful booking this time of year again as the heating was not on in the pool. Would have been great to have this. Emilie was a great host, very responsive to our questions and very accommodating. We would come back again as a family for sure. Thank you for having us.

Beautiful home in Loix. Walkable to town center for the market, restaurants. Loix is quiet and peaceful and the busier villages are easily accessible by bicycle. Pool is lovely. Would happily stay again!

Great weekend with friends at Sabrina's. Beautiful house, welcoming and accommodating host. Close to the center of La Rochelle by car or bike. No complaints, we'll be back!

The house is beautiful, well located and really well equipped - especially for a family with small children. Lots of little nice touches (like baby bath and changing mats) that made everything really nice and welcoming for us.

Spacious house with bedrooms as described, very pleasant decor. Very centrally located on the island, near the village center and the daily market, and we made beautiful bike rides. Sorry about the narrow stairs to get to 2 bedrooms and shower via garage, not suitable for younger children. Unfortunately, we had some technical problems, probably because it was just after the winter and investments are being made. Fortunately, the response was very quick to help us further, but further action will be needed. There is a new electric stove in the meantime, and very comfortable, new chairs inside, although those broke too easily for now, which we reported to the host. The garden was (still?) not cleaned up after the winter.
