Holiday rentals with a pool in La Cala de Mijas

We all had a lovely stay at the apartment and miss being there. The property was ideally located with breathtaking views and peaceful. Marco was very friendly and helpful. It was an excellent stay and we would love to go back again.

A superb villa, very spacious and clean. Just a note that it is at the top of a small mountain but wow when you get to the top the views are truly spectacular. A great spot for exploring the area and Ubers are easy to get for trips into Malaga, would highly recommend.

On arrival Clotilda showed us around the apartment, and we were really delighted, it was one of the cleanest we have stayed in, and the views from the balcony, and main bedroom are absolutely beautiful. The extensive gardens and pools were pristine, with plenty of seating around, with gorgeous views of the beach and ocean beyond. The property is just a 3 minute or so walk away onto the boardwalk and beach, which suited us as we spent most days on the beach when not sightseeing. Bed linen, towels and throws were all freshly laundered to a really good standard. There were plenty of kitchen utensils should you wish to eat in, although we ate out every evening at the lovely local restaurants, most within easy walking distance. Clotilda was a really thoughtful host who responded quickly to any questions we had prior to our arrival, and during our stay. Thank you.

We booked this villa as a surprise for a bachelor party and got our money's worth. We wanted to enjoy our vacation completely undisturbed and isolated in our group and this accommodation was the perfect place for that. The kitchen offered plenty of space and equipment to prepare delicacies. The refrigerator, including the freezer compartments, was worth its weight in gold. Since the villa is located a bit in the mountains, the terrace offers a beautiful view of the Mediterranean Sea and the city of Fuengirola. The area is not suitable for walking, but everything is easily doable by car. But still, this area is simply fantastic. Mountains, coast, with Malaga and Marbella two beautiful places that are definitely worth a trip, nearby and simply a fantastic villa, where nothing is lacking. We are completely satisfied and our host Riccardo was super friendly, was always available when we needed something.

Great accommodation in a great location

What a wonderful time we had at Casueña. Alicia and Jorge were so welcoming, helpful, friendly, and fun. They met us at the villa and showed us everything we needed to know, and then were always on hand for anything else we needed. The villa was so well equiped, including basic food, tea, coffee, and fruit to get us going. Also, on the first morning, Alicia and Jorge gave us a basket of eggs from their own chickens! We loved the beautiful furniture, artwork and ornaments which all added to Casueña's charm. Since the weather was hot we spent most of our time in the stunning garden and lovely pool. Beautiful mature plants, shrubs and trees made the garden feel magical, as did the many birds who visited including a familly of swallows. A short trip (about 2 miles) down to the village of Santa Rosalía provided a good supermarket (open every day), cafes, and restaurants. Thank you Alicia and Jorge - you are very special people and we will definitely be back to visit you and Casueña.

We absolutely loved our stay. Our whole family stayed for a week to celebrate my dad turning 70. 9 people ranging from 9m-70. The Villa is absolutely stunning, in the ideal location. Restaurants, bars, cafes on your doorstep. Over the bridge there’s the beach. Everything within walking distance. Lidl very near for all of your essentials, pharmacy nearby. The Villa was spotless and plenty of room for the 9 of us. Bente is a great host, nothing was too much hassle. Villa has everything you could possibly need. Even a gorgeous lemon tree to the rear. Our children loved the pool and it was warm enough to play in for hours in May. Don’t hesitate to book Bente’s villa. We will definitely be re-booking in the future! Thanks

We had 3 great weeks of golf vacation at Natura La Cala Resort. There were four of us and there was good room. Loved it.

beautiful apartment with a stunning view and roof terrace. What would have been a finishing touch would have been a shower on the roof to cool you down as it was so hot! Had such a relaxing time, lovely dining area for evening eating in. Showers in both bathrooms were lovely, nice and hot and lots of towels provided. Just a great apartment in a fantastic spot for Mijas centre.

This was my second stay at Miguel and Paolas apartment and just like last time it was great! It is clear that they keep their place up to date and everything I needed was available for a pleasant stay. Thank you so much!

Fantastic place to stay, we had a great week. Easy to get their eiither train/bus or taxi straight their. So much space, so clean and had everything you need for a great stay. Having the pool to use was also great and we did go in every day. Beautiful walk both ways on the boardwalk.

Lovely penthouse with amazing terrace. We also appreciated the comfortable bed the silence at night. Best of all were Shauna and Susan. We particularly valued the personal welcome. To top it all, they provided us with torch, water and powerbank when power was 6 hours down.

The apartment was in a great location, with amazing views. Walkable to a lot of great restaurants and there is a little supermarket next door which is perfect for supplies. Host was extremely responsive and very helpful.

everything was perfect except the electricity power. I don't know why, but took hours to charge our phones. However, i believe owners would fix this issue. Definitely recommend this place 👌

Very nice apartment with a terrace with great sea view. The pools are large and nice (only one was available during our stay, but that was no problem). The residence is super quiet and the parking is very convenient. Fun restaurants and bars not too far away, which is ideal. A big thank you to Antonio and his wife for hosting.

Beautiful apartment with everything that you could need for a luxurious - home from home stay. The instructions and communications from Gloria and Moritz were 5* - nothing was too much trouble and they were just a message away should we have felt that we needed them (and we did a couple of times - so many thanks for that!) The apartment boasted amazing views across the city of the Med and the mountains and the pool and jacuzzi on site were clean and easy to use. The apartment was really clean and thoughtfully laid out, it had everything we needed to have a really enjoyable break away. The outside area was just as fantastic as inside. Gloria and Moritz have thought of everything to make the stay most enjoyable and I would give them a 5* rating as hosts. Awesome villa, that feels really special. We were a group of two families and it was great for us. There are different areas that can be used for different things; a lovely barbecue space and the pool is right beside the kitchen/outdoor eating space. Lots of stairs so something to watch if you have very young children or accessibility issues. Would thoroughly recommend. Eva and family were lovely, very helpful, and responsive. A car is definitely needed, even just to pop up to Mijas, which is worth it.

Second stay in Casa Querida, and we loved it again. A five minute walk to the beach and a supermarket, but we were happy relaxing in the villa and by the pool. Super place!

We had a great holidays with our family there. Felt like at home ! From town centre only 15 min far , amazing location and a view! Highly would recommend to family’s with kids ! 👍😍

Great stay , fabulous villa

Beautiful outdoor space which was bigger than the pictures suggested, with another area for dining and bbq’ing at the back. Large pool. Good location with quick drives to the beach, old own and central Marbella. Clean spaces and good sized bedrooms.

The Villa and location are really great with onsite parking and the private swimming pool a real plus. The Villa is large , very well equipped inside but the finishing touches are missing particularly if you are a family. There are no seat covers on the outside dining area ..which you use all the time. There are no beach towels to use on sun loungers or beach and no hairdryer which means you will have to pack or buy these items. The BBQ is not suitable to cook on, it is a one man portable camping bbq and totally useless. There was only 2 of us staying so this was not really a problem for us and we would happily re-book.

The house is great! Location is awesome. Price is high but what you see is what you get. Big thanks to the owners and Interhome for that insane holiday. Love to visit spain again when its like this :D
