It was a more luxurious house than the photos!I enjoyed playing simulated golf, sauna, and barbecue, but especially the sauna was great because the temperature went up to 110 degrees! I will use it again when I play golf in Miyazaki. Thank you for telling us about the butcher shop you recommended.

This stay was only for one night, but it was a wonderful time to refresh myself. The host, who greeted me as soon as I arrived, was very kind and made me feel at ease, as if I had known him for a long time.They also politely provided guidance on the facilities and information about the area, and I was able to have a comfortable stay throughout. At the adjacent cafe, you can enjoy a charcoal-grilled meal of local chicken and authentic sushi made by the landlady, and you can truly enjoy the local flavors.All the dishes were made with fresh ingredients, and I felt the warmth of the heart. In addition, the inn's rooms were thoroughly cleaned and very clean, and I could feel the attention to detail and the attention to detail in creating the space.The amenities were also complete, and it was memorable that I had a pleasant time. I was particularly impressed by the open-air bath space, which is like a hot water pool outside.In the evening, the poolside was illuminated with a fantastic light show, and the cocktails we enjoyed there made for a very luxurious time.The time spent relaxing and chatting with friends was truly an extraordinary moment of healing. This is my second time staying here and it'll always be my top choice when I'm in the area :) The house is clean and cozy and the surrounding area is so peaceful, quiet, and dreamy. Everything is beautiful and I feel so relaxed staying here. There was a big storm the last time I stayed, but the patio is fully covered, so I got to sit outside and sip my coffee while listening to and watching the rain. The bathroom and kitchen are so well-stocked -- I haven't cooked here but the kitchen makes me want to! John is also a fantastic host who is so kind and accommodating. Highly recommend staying here if you have a chance!

The place was very nice and they were quick to respond when I needed help. The pool was a great spot to relax with my friends and have some fun. Definitely would come back again.

The old house has been renovated and was very clean and stylish. There was no close house, so we had a relaxing stay.

Beautiful and peaceful location that was very relaxing! There was plenty of room for my family to enjoy the villa’s features of pool, hot tub, and sauna. The outdoor charcoal barbecue grills were also a welcome luxury for grilling our hamburgers and sausages. Definitely an enjoyable, natural place overlooking the water!

We had a great stay at this property! The house is located on a beautiful hillside with stunning views of the sea. The sauna overlooking the ocean was a real highlight – and it’s included at no extra cost. The pool is very large and can be used privately, which made for a very relaxing experience. We also enjoyed the spacious garden, and check-in was smooth with easy and responsive communication throughout. If we had to mention anything, the kitchen could use a few more pots and pans, and the interior felt a bit plain – a few decorative touches or some artwork on the walls would make it feel more homey. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay!

We enjoyed our wonderful stay in Beppu- Sakura's home was clean beautiful and spacious. The location was so close to grocery store, 7 eleven restaurants and a large mall- and of course the ocean. The house was very clean, well stocked- so many towels- which were very useful given the most excellent onsen that we used regularly. Our family of 6 adults had a wonderful time. Sakura was very responsive and easy to communicate with. We highly recommend staying here if you are looking for a place in Beppu!

A hidden gem in the mountains of Kumamoto! Staying at this private, hand-built lodge was nothing short of magical. Every detail of the space reflects the heart and soul that went into building it — from the thoughtful layout to the generous amenities provided. The tatami-style bedding was incredibly comfortable, making for restful nights surrounded by nature’s serenity. The surroundings are quiet, peaceful, and perfect for anyone looking to unplug and recharge. We especially loved the sound system — a real treat to play our favorite music while enjoying the view. What made the stay even more special was our host, who was warm, welcoming, and always ready with helpful recommendations. This is the kind of place that stays with you long after you’ve left. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to escape the noise of the world and reconnect with themselves.

This was one of the most outstanding places we have stayed at In Japan and in general. The house was absolutely beautiful, nicely decorated and perfectly equipped for a more than comfortable stay. Not a speck of dust in the house, super clean which we really appreciate and value. The location was beyond what we expected. We wanted a central place to travel to many areas around Kyushu, more than that we also found a bit of paradise in Hyuga. An absolute gorgeous town by the coast with everything you could need right in town! Hyuga is a must see place in all its right! some of the most breathtaking sea views were right in Hyuga. Emi and her husband were super helpful as well and responsive through our entire booking. We could not recommend this stay more and we cant wait to come back! Thank you very much!

It was such a lovely stay. We enjoyed relaxing on the bench outside the house, while listening to birds, wind, and bell. In the day, the view is very beautiful especially the wheat field and distant city. Perfect for those that would like to getaway from the bustling city, to enjoy a peaceful countryside. The owner is very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!

Our stay at Minmi’s place was a highlight of our trip, for so many reasons. Her home is a designer’s dream, so cute and cosy and was immaculately presented. We so enjoyed waking up to beautiful coffee and enjoying the amazing view each day. Minmi went out of her way to make us feel welcome and offered incredible advice for local attractions and excursions. We felt at home in Minmi’s place and we’ll definitely be returning. My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Fu-Ga’s! You can really feel the care she’s put into the apartment — from the thoughtful layout and charming decor to the wide range of amenities that made our stay extra comfortable. On the day we left, Fu-Ga even arranged for her son to drop us off at the train station as it was raining — a lovely final touch to a great stay. Thank you so much for your warm hospitality!

We loved our stay at this place. It was very spacious for the two of us and we enjoyed using the private onsen. It would have been easier to find the place if the outside light was left on before we arrived.

Wow! What an incredible spot to stay! So close to the beach, Mutsumi's restaurant below was delicious! We loved being able to walk to the beach and Aoshima shrine. Truly, I will be counting down the days until we return! This was the perfect place to stay during our time in Miyazaki!

It was beautiful, great view, which was a small negative point for us that you couldn't darken the bedroom (it was bright at 5am). Check-in worked great, kitchen equipment was good, there was more than one gas stove top. You should be good on foot, as it has stairs to the house, as well as in the house itself.

It was a wonderful healing trip away from the noise and pollution of the city like never before. It's a place I definitely want to stay for a long time again next time. This is the best place to stay for travelers who want to heal, such as trekking, hiking, and walking nearby. The kitchen utensils were very perfect for simple cooking in the kitchen. I recommend using it. The host was also very kind, so there was nothing lacking at all. Thank you. I'll definitely stop by again next time.

This is a home that I would love to stay in for the rest of my life. The scenery of the mountains and volcanoes outside the balcony patio is therapeutic. I enjoyed much of my time sitting in that room enjoying my meals and resting. Hiropon san is extremely helpful whenever I wasn’t sure of something. A great place to visit the many many sites of Aso, Kumamoto and Takachiho. My family were quite sad to leave this beautiful home!
