Beautiful and quiet! Quick walk to white sand beach through a place called the beach bar just north. Would definitely stay again!

We had 14 amazing days at Journey’s End Homestay! 🤩 We relaxed and truly enjoyed the peaceful and beautiful surroundings. We could have easily stayed another 14 days. We arrived by taxi from Bangkok, which Nicky had arranged for us in advance. She was also very helpful in organizing our return trip. The staff were wonderful—friendly, cheerful, and always making sure we had a perfect holiday. Angela prepared fantastic food, and special requests were never a problem. We rented a scooter and, after exploring the more touristy side of the island, we appreciated the peacefulness of staying with Nicky even more. We also went on a boat/snorkeling trip arranged by the homestay, and we are so grateful for that experience. This place is perfect for anyone looking for a quiet, relaxing getaway, far from the tourist crowds—but still just a 30-minute scooter ride away if you want to explore. Absolutely fantastic—we’ll be back!☺️

We really enjoyed our stay in the bungalow—it was a lovely experience from start to finish. The host was very friendly, responsive, and helpful, which made everything even more pleasant. Check-in was smooth and easy, and the place had everything we needed. We especially liked the ping pong table—it was a fun bonus that we made great use of during our stay. We would definitely recommend this bungalow to others, and we hope to come back again in the future! Thank you!

We had a great time at Nicky's place. Even though she wasn't there, she helped and guided us throughout the trip. Every time we had a question, she would answer almost in the next minute (which is really appreciated, especially during a first stay in a country) The place is really peaceful if you are looking for tranquility, simplicity and nature in a part of the island outside of places flooded with tourists. Ang and the smile of Ang and the girls working on site are elements that add to the pleasure of staying here. You have to rent a motorbike to explore the rest of the island. As a bonus, there's a beach a 5-minute walk away. The beach is always deserted or almost deserted, there are hammocks and chairs, palm trees for shade, the sound of the waves and the surrounding nature.

Excellent value for the price. Located in Lonely Beach next to a lot of great restaurants (and bars for nightlife for those that are interested in that). Pool was terrible so I didn't use that. WiFi was good throughout the resort though.

We absolutely loved being on the Gulf// of Thailand.; swimming in the warm water at high tide was priceless. Having access to free kayaks was such a bonus that we totally made use of. The name “Journeys End” provided accurate for us, as we ended 2 months in SE Asia. The other guests were genuinely interesting people which made the restaurant/bar scene at Nicky’s A+++ The food prepared to order was exceptional, not to mention the setting. I would love to return!!!!!

The house and the beach are an incredibly beautiful oasis of relaxation.

I arrived at the bus station and planned to find a ride out to Apisak’s place. It was just 200 baht to get out on a songtaew, and I grabbed some food to go from the bus station- which was so convenient. They also helped me get a ride to the Koh Chang ferry- which was so appreciated. I was happy to chill in the hammock in the afternoon at Apisak’s! Great space for book reading. Also Lovely conversation and some of the best hosts! Comfortable bed and space. Would definitely stay again!

We stayed here for a couple of weeks and the apartment is really good, spacious and clean. The bed is super big and comfortabel, shower with warm water and a big fridge. Anything you can ask for. It is in a sideways of the busy road where no cars pass so it is nice and quiet. The host is really nice. Amazing Thai food around the corner, just as the best Italian restaurant from the island. Definitely would recommend this place 10/10. Thank you so much!

Perfect from the start. Nothing too much trouble. Perfect location perfect villa. Cleaned regularly too which was an unexpected bonus. Host was simply fantastic. Recommended 100% and will be booking again . Thank you Jorg x

We had such a relaxing time at Indie Beach. Adorable staff, nice beach and lovely designed bungalows. Everything was perfect from the beginning until checkout.

The fishhouse is easy to find. All around is everything you need: two ATM, mini markets (no 7eleven), fresh fruits, scooter rental, Lonely Beach within a 10-minute walk and the best Thai massage we've ever had is just a minute's walk from the bungalow (red sign, definitely try!!) The bungalows are clean and large and the day is very quiet. At night you can hear music from the bars across the street, but can be ignored with earplugs. At first we had problems with the Wi-Fi, but for all concerns, Elena and her boyfriend are quickly accessible and help very friendly with all questions!

Great place. pool is no longer available which I was informed about before my stay dates. Place is great. Kitchen was a must for me. Basic utensils were available in kitchen. Air conditioning worked like charm. The attendant was very responsive and was always available for queries. I was able to rent in house scooter. That was another great addition. It helped me a lot. I will surely be recommending this place and will be my first choice when I come back.

Outstanding bungalow! The space is large with a great patio. You can spend a lot of your time relaxing on the patio. A great host who left a well stocked fridge and cabinet. Easy to cook at home but also great location to many restaurants. So close to the beach as well. An outstanding modern bathroom too! Internet worked well enough for us 2 to take heavy video calls 3 days a week 9 hours a day. The connection was stable. I could see this place being a great spot for remote workers. Very relaxing as well. Highly recommend and will stay here again probably in 6 months. Thank you so much for everything.
