Amazing stay, cannot recommend more!! We were upgraded as soon as we arrived which was great! If you want somewhere safe and comfortable to relax this is the place for you! There’s Hot water, yummy authentic meals for great value. Wifi. Comfy beds! We experienced the best hospitality ever. (Well travelled couple) The host May and her team really looked after us and went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable and fun as possible! No hidden costs (a rarity for African hostels) It can be difficult in Africa as a white person to be understood and taken seriously when you say you are on a budget. We told May what we would like to do whilst in Masindi (Murchison falls NP and Chimp trekking) and she made both possible on our budget without compromising our experience at all! It was amazing! Highly recommend both those activities as well as spending a day by the pool in the sister hotel if your time allows. Authentic Ugandan hospitality with Western comforts at an affordable price. What more could you want!?

Proscovia’s place is a great place to stay at before reaching Murchison National Park. The host was super communicative and responsive. She also made us a great dinner and breakfast. The area is very nice with friendly people. I’ll definitely be back!

Countryside home; two bedrooms, shower, toilet, has a water tank. Solar powered, can be upgraded to support laptop and phone charging. It overlooks Aribi Hills and Lake Kyoga on either side. Historic sites: first missionaries site in Lango and the resting place of the first President of Uganda, Late Dr. Apollo Milton Obote. Other attractive sites close by. The home located in a quiet and serene area and is open to guest from all backgrounds. Transport and Laundry services can be arranged.
