The rooms were spotless with great amenities, the terrace had a lovely view where we enjoyed snacks. Most importantly our stay would not have been the same without Rinku and the team, they could not have been any more attentive, kind and proactive. Without being overbearing. Truly impeccable!! I travel for work and stay in many hotels and guest houses around the world and it generally does not have a personal touch. We truly felt right at home in terms of comfort and care from the team, this is rare to find! Thank you so much this has been our favourite stay so far!!

It was my honeymoon trip and the stay at shuag valley view homestay just made it WoWw. The view is just tremendously jaw dropping. The carvings, the interior, and the hospitality everything is fantastic. I would like to suggest to upcoming guests, Please, please, please do try atleast one time meal prepared by Mr. Kuldeep. He is a Ace of Chefs. I tried Rajma rice (Desi orgainc Rajma), and Kadhi Rice. I bet whoever try it once, will definitely come back for the taste. Also on individual level Mr. Kuldeep is wonderful person. Thanks for everything, May God will fulfill all your dreams.🙏🏿 I would also suggest the guests, please keep the Luggage at minimalist because to reach at the property there is a trek of around 300 metre approx. But its worth the experience.

The place is excellent for someone seeking peace and silence. Abhishek was very friendly and a great host. Recommended for a stay.

This was undoubtedly one of my best stay in a long long time.. Want to summarise the experience 1. A down to earth, responsive, ever eager to help host Surinder ji.. Takes away all your negative apprenesions out of context, once you communicate with Surinder ji 2. Property as it is as shown in the photos.. Such a heavenly view of Kailash, and the Dhauladhar range from the rooms, all rooms have mountain view as claimed in property description. 3. Peaceful and blissful stay, if you love nature Surely recommended for vacations/staycations...

Why do we travel ? Over the years the answer for this quintessential question has changed for me. It started with exploring new places, then it was about experiences and finally for finding oneself. But never had I thought that I’ll look back at a place and remember it for its people and hosts. Abhinav and his family welcome you to their home and you feel a part of their family from day one. Be it the mouth watering meals that Aunty serves to the farm tours and the music night at the end of the day it all feels like a warm blanket on a chilly winter night. One of the best experiences i have had in recent times. Big kudos to musafir and team. Will definitely revisit and recommend. Tip for travellers- Please don’t rely only on google maps for reaching the location once at palampur. We lost our way by doing the same and highly recommend reaching out to Abhinav for location help.

We stayed here for 7 days & very highly recommend the place. The place is so clean, the utensils were proper for kitchen, bed was comfortable and there was ample sunlight in the room. Wifi was amazing and you can order food from their cafe up. The owner Meenal was so proactive and reached out to us everyday to ask if everything is fine & any way she can make our stay more comfortable. The manager Shivangi made sure we were having a comfortable stay. My partner had bad stomach one day and they made special khichdi and meals for us & took care of us like their family. We were greeted with pastries of Birdhouse cakery & the hospitality was so so good! Just one message away. For past 6 months, I've been travelling and stayed at tons of airbnb but nothing matches the hospitality here! Thank you Meenal, Shivangi and team for sharing your home with us.

Ria is great host, they are a lovely family. We had to extend our stay last minute and Ria was kind enough to allow her space. If you prefer to be midst the nature away from the chaos this place is definitely worth. Her sourdough breads, jams , muesli and much more is definitely worth trying. Please have food prepared by her its health. Everything is fresh. Ria's apouse Hari Das ji is a wonderful person. He is a trek guide and it was great experience to have him along to explore few places. Ria and her family are disciplined and they close their day early, so ensure to be mindful of this. in case you step out late evening/return late night ensure to get your water jug filled or any other support required before you leave so that there is no need of bothering them at late hours. Our stay at Sila Himalayas was utmost relaxing & homely. Perfect place where earthiness meets elegance. Spacious rooms, stunning views, and the best food in Dharamshala make it a soulful escape. Every corner invites you to slow down and breathe. Surrounded by art, nature, and silence, it doesn’t just offer a stay—it folds you gently into the rhythm of the hills. A great place to unplug and unwind. I’m definitely coming back again and recommending it to a greater lot.
