Holiday rentals in Kefalas

Wir sind erst sehr spät am Abend in der Unterkunft angekommen. Popi hat uns trotzdem herzlich empfangen. Sie hat sogar den Kühlschrank mit ein paar Sachen für das Frühstück gefüllt. Das Haus ist sehr hochwertig ausgestattet, vollständig klimatisiert und war extrem sauber. Nicht genug zu betonen ist der grandiose, unverbaute Blick von der Terrasse. Die Lage in Kefalas macht ein Auto zwingend erforderlich. Die örtliche Taverne ist aus kulinarischer Sicht nicht zu empfehlen. Letztendlich ein sehr schöner Urlaub und trotz einiger Wetterkapriolen kommen wir gerne wieder. Tolles Haus, super Gastgeberin.

This is the best Airbnb we’ve stayed in, like a 5 star hotel. The villa is beautiful and luxurious. Everything is new and works. Christina the host is amazing, very helpful. Each room has a well sized bathroom with a great shower. A breakfast basket was left outside at 8:30 am each morning - delicious! The kitchen is spotless and has all the tools you’ll need. There’s a BBQ. The villa was cleaned midway and the cleaners did a great job. It is quiet and secure. We slept well. The outside space is stunning. The pool is a constant 1.5 metre depth so perhaps not suitable for very young children. The local village is small and very friendly. There’s a great shop 10 minutes walk away, and next to that is a good restaurant (taverna). You definitely need a car here but I’d recommend you have a car anyway to explore Crete. The coastal town of Almyrida is 10 mins drive away with restaurants and shops. Chania and Rethymno are approx 45 mins drive away. Both have lovely old towns.

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Woche in dem schönen Haus! Alles war genauso wie beschrieben – sauber, gemütlich und perfekt ausgestattet. Michael und Kerstin waren unglaublich herzlich und hilfsbereit. Sie haben sich hervorragend um uns gekümmert und standen bei Fragen immer zur Verfügung. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und können den Aufenthalt uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen. Vielen Dank für alles!

We had a super stay here - the villa really was a home from home. It was so well equipped and very cosy. The pool area was perfect and we had the pool to ourselves for the week. There are balconies in both bedrooms where we enjoyed morning coffee and late afternoon wine. There is ample driveway for parking. The villa is situated on a hill in a peaceful area, only birdsong could be heard in the evenings. The view over the bay is beautiful to wake up to. Rethymno and Chania are easily reachable by car and we also loved Kalyves for an evening out. Christina is a fantastic host, she was always quick to reply to our messages and was really friendly. I would thoroughly recommend staying here and would love to return on a future holiday to Crete. Thank you to Christina and Dimitris .

L'appartement est très agréable, équipé, propre et adapté pour deux personnes. Kefalas est un village de montagne charmant et on se sent en sécurité. Il faut avoir une voiture pour se déplacer, surtout si vous allez aux endroits les plus touristiques de Crète car c'est loin (1h approx) Je recommande vivement ce logement !

The apartment (or rather a house) is located in a quiet and peaceful part of the village of Kefalas. It is spacious and equipped with all amenities. It has a large terrace with an amazing view of the Aegean Sea, the city of Rethymno and Mount Psiloritis on one side and on the other the entire panorama of the White Mountains. In the village there are two taverns with very good home-made food and a cafe where you can drink delicious coffee. Our stay in the apartment was very successful and we recommend it with all our hearts. Best regards Aneta and Tomek.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans la villa idéalement située, avec vue imprenable sur la mer😍 Un vrai bonheur chaque matin d’admirer le lever du soleil et de prendre son petit déjeuner sur la terrasse. Je recommande vivement ce logement très confortable, idéal pour deux couples avec ses deux salles de bain, et ses deux chambres ( toutes 2 vue sur mer) 😍 Le village est plein de charme, authentique, avec plusieurs tavernes à proximité où nous avons très bien mangé. House is utterly charming and authentically Greek village style atmosphere. Private entry courtyard is lovely with garden. Felt very at home and cozy with everything I needed. And so close to town! Dimitrios was very helpful. Even had yoga mat!
