Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Katoomba

It is in a quiet neighborhood and our kids love the fireplace! (We came from a tropical country) 3 min drive to Scenic World, 5 min to Katoomba Town and basically just minutes away from any lookouts to the falls or 3 Sisters. There’s a big backyard and cookout place, so I can only imagine how fun it will be during spring/summer.

Beautiful house! We stayed with our 3 and 1 year olds who thought it was Christmas Day with the yard amenities! Swings, climbing, seesaw, and the yert toys and coloring. The house was spacious and clean. Location was peaceful, with a small cafe 5min walk up the road. The heaters meant the littlies slept peacefully the whole night through. Would love to stay again soon, thanks Sierra!

Mimosa Cottage is a really lovely Mountains cottage in a quiet and peaceful location near Katoomba. It is very comfortable and we very much enjoyed our three day stay. The living area is light filled and whilst it was a very cold weekend, the gas fireplace kept the cottage beautifully warm.

Very comfortable home, excellent location - easy walk to the National Park walks and restaurants, supermarkets and everything else you could need. Home was very clean and comfortable. The only thing I would have linked is kitchen basics such as spray oil, milk, bread, eggs - these items are usually supplied in an AirBNB. I would highly recommend to anyone looking to stay in the Blue Mountains.

A very nice place to stay. The kitchen has almost everything. There are clear instructions from the host. It made the check-in very smooth.

We had a beautiful stay at Cottawalla. Our little ones absolutely loved the space and the thoughtful selection of toys. The location is amazing—just a few minutes’ walk to Blackheath, yet wonderfully peaceful and serene. Victoria’s home is stylish, welcoming, and perfect for families. We’d definitely return and highly recommend it to others!

Margaret’s place is amazing, this is our second visit, and have already booked a third. We go every year to celebrate a birthday, and we have and make wonderful memories. Thank you Margaret for making it possible.

Such a great place to base a Blue Mountains holiday. We were there in May so it was cool and rainy on some days but the fireplace worked beautifully. The picture window onto the national park was a treasure to have. The kitchen was well set up so we made most of our meals there, no problem. There were some minor issues but Tien responded so fast. Would go back again in a heartbeat (in better weather).

Wow! What a location…. What an apartment! It was exactly what we wanted and what was in the listing. Perfect location close to bars, cafes and restaurants. Just beware of the parking situation. It’s not a problem if you’re organised and flexible to utilise the free parking approx 5 minutes walk away. We just used temp parking for a short period to sort out gear for check-in and check out. We would highly recommend this listing. Made some beautiful memories in amazing Katoomba

Celebrating my 21st at Rose Lindsay Cottage was the perfect choice! Danny and Annette were amazing hosts, with a great attention to detail that made our stay so special. Great location and place was nice and clean

Great location, right on the main street. I was staying for work. It was ideal.

My partner and I enjoyed a lovely two night stay at Anna's place. This lovely spot is situated within just minutes of walking distance to some incredible dining and bars. So quick and easy to wander off on foot to check out the local shops and cafes without any hassles. Anna had arranged ahead of time for our expectated arrival and had the heating and lights on ready and waiting for us! The texted instructions and fair lit up walkways was a spectacular sight on arrival. There were also so many small welcoming touches that made it just fabulous from the hand written note, to the fresh fruit biscuits, chocolates and flowers and essentials like English muffins and milk! The space is cozy and so well laid out and furnished with a very much at home vibe. We would absolutely stay again! Anna is a fabulously friendly and welcoming host and the place is so cozy and cared for!

Medlow Bath is a fantastic, peaceful location near to Leura, Katoomba and Blackheath. Denise was a wonderful host and provided us with many recommendations for the area. The space was quiet and comfortable. Would definitely recommend!

Excellent location surrounded by many restaurants and cafes a short walk from the apartment. The apartment itself is very comfortable with all the mod cons and tastefully decorated. Our favourite aspect of the apartment was the log fire heater and the heated bathroom floors. Also the main bedroom was very private and quiet from the rest of the apartment. Hosts are super responsive and helpful. Highly recommend.

We cant wait to go back. Even if the weather didn’t help, the house made our holidays unforgettable. Super clean and well organised

The property was absolutely immaculate and worth the financial investment for our stay. No expense has been spared in the property and the attention to the smallest detail made a huge difference. There was nothing lacking in the property. We will be back for sure!

We had an amazing weekend at Dadirri Retreat. Simon was a fantastic host, very accomodating and responsive. The house is absolutely gorgeous wth three separate pavilions, one with the kitchen and lounge/dining areas with spectacular views, one which is a master suite with an amazing huge bathtub looking out over the trees, and the third is adjacent to the pool, with a bedroom, large bathroom and the sauna, by far the best sauna I have seen in an Airbnb. Although the weather was patchy, time in the sauna followed by a dip in the mineral pool was a lovely way to spend the day in total quiet and privacy. There are lots of great outdoor spots for relaxing and the kitchen is very well equipped including a new Nespresso machine. The beds were super comfortable with high quality bedding, fluffy robes and Leif products in the shower. Perfect spot for a peaceful getaway, we will be back. Thanks Simon!

We had a wonderful time at Mimosa House. Such a beautiful house, beautifully decorated. We would have liked to have spent more time to relax in the house and garden - so would love to come back again.

Absolutely stunning and quite possibly the best Airbnb we’ve stayed at anywhere in the world. This place has been so exquisitely put together with not an expense spared on the design and functionality. Underfloor heating in the cold winter conditions made the whole place feel so cosy and warm. The furniture and finishings were clean and carefully chosen. Everything has been thought of! The kitchen is amazing with everything you’d need and high end appliances. It flows seamlessly into the large living and dining area. We’re already looking at when to book next!
