Family-friendly holiday rentals in Kaposvár

We can only say here that the place is absolutely amazing. Located directly on Lake Balaton, now nice and quiet in April and the house or the equipment is very good. A dream if you can sit in the hot tub or on the sofa in not so warm weather and look out on the Lake Balaton through the large panoramic windows. All in all, this was a fantastic stay for us Hungarian fans here in April.

Apartment was really clean and cozy. It was first apartment that we stayed, where kids did not want to go out, due to toys in apartment itself. It also has hot tub available during winter inside - shared with other apartments, bit during our stay it was never occupied.

Lovely slice of peace and tranquility, loved the view from the house and decking. Hot tub was nice to use in the evening. We were also visited by a deer, which was a bonus. 7 mins drive from supermarket to stock up and then make an escape.

Great place to stay. Lovely host, allowed us to check out late without extra charge (our bus left in the afternoon).

It's an old apartment, but it's a place with a clean interior. It's great for families to come and stay, and you can easily get to St. Louis city or surrounding beaches by car. I also liked the restaurant the owner recommended. However, parking has to be done around the apartment, and if you come in late, it takes a while to find a parking space. Overall, it was a satisfactory place.

Friendly and welcoming hosts in a lovely house at the end of a quiet dead end street, perfect for a peaceful stay. The apartment looks exactly like the photos: simple, modest, but very comfortable. It had everything we needed for a great stay. We explored the neighborhood by bike and truly enjoyed the calm and charming surroundings. A great choice for those looking for a quiet and pleasant place to relax.

This is the second time I have stayed it this property and it did not let me down. I requested the booking and within minutes was booked in. Very easy process. Will definitely be back again.

Everything was fine, the apartment is in a great location in the city center

The place is a conversion of part of a Hungarian house. It has very thick walls. Inside there are two very large rooms each with a large bed, maybe king size, and a sofa that looks like it turns into another large bed, so should easily sleep 8 people. There is no living room, but each of the bedrooms is kind of like its own living room. There is no TV but there is fast Internet through WiFi. There is a large kitchen/diner with all the essential bits and pieces for cooking and a full sized gas cooker. There is a bathroom with shower and WC and a separate WC. Both are decorated with modern tiling. There is a garden. The owner lives in a house on the site. This is on the edge of a small town up in the hills overlooking the Balaton. You really need a car to get here and to explore the area. We didn't move anywhere on foot. The place is very quiet and relaxing and functional but it really it is a jumping off point to explore the area. I'm all we enjoyed our stay here.

A beautiful place to stay in a beautiful environment, comfortable, clean, and really cozy! Helpful and kind landlord. It was ideal with family because it is well equipped and in the middle of nature. So young children were able to run outside all day in the good air with a wonderful view of Lake Balaton. Although the latter was mostly an experience for adults! :) The nearby Laci Cellar Csárda was also an outstanding experience. Thank you so much!

It's a magical place, really with fairytale cottages! Very kind and friendly hosts, they try to help with everything. You can tell it's a true love project for them! The treehouse is a really special, cozy cottage, unreasonably clean, right on the edge of the forest. There are private marked hiking trails from the yard. Despite the bad weather, we had a great time, we will definitely be back!

Our stay at Érika's and her family's place went remarkably well. The family hosting was exceptional. Erika and her family are very kind. The house is really great with all the comforts you need. The house is much better than you might think in the photos. The street is really very quiet and the neighbors are very nice. Erika's son who is extremely helpful and multilingual gives all the information you need for a great stay in the area. He knows all the best. They're really responsive if you have any questions or concerns. And thanks to him, our visit to the big city of Pécs went perfectly. Gunaras where the house is located is an extremely pleasant and relaxing village. It has everything you need in amenities and the thermal and aquatic center is really exceptional. It's very close so you can walk there. I would recommend this house to anyone for a great holiday.

We had a super nice, pleasant holiday in this beautiful villa. The house is very well equipped, has a nice terrace and a beautiful garden with many trees, which give the necessary cooling during the hot summer days. (the airconditioners in the bedrooms are also a great added value) The quiet beach is around the corner (approx. 200m) and with the wagon you can easily take all your beach equipment with you. On foot or by bike you will be in the center at the bakery, small supermarket or restaurant. Highly recommended to discover the Balaton and this beautiful region.

Very spacious apartment for a reasonable price.

Friendly hosts who speak good German and English which makes everything easier. I was traveling with my dog and my dog was also greeted as kindly as I was.

We had a lovely stay at Hans's, he is a very welcoming and passionate host. We were hosted very well!!! We came for a sled dog competition and Hans and his wife came to see us, it made us very happy ;) If we have the opportunity to return to Hungary we will return to Hans's. See you in Alix, Justine and Estelle Not to mention our champions Tundra, Rockette and Rafale 🐺

A great little house, fully equipped – it even had an air fryer, which we were really happy about! The hosts were very kind and helpful. The garden is incredibly large, well-maintained, and everything was beautifully green. We had a wonderful time. I can only recommend this accommodation!

Very comfortable house, with a lot of space ! The cleaning was good, the kitchen was well equipped ! We all had a very pleasant stay in Siofok ! 100% would recommend.

Our stay at Gabor's house in Siofok was fantastic! Gabor was incredibly welcoming, giving us great recommendations for places to hang out, eat, and find coffee and breakfast. The property was perfect for our 10-person family trip—spacious, clean, and well-maintained. The pool was a highlight, and Gabor kept everything in top condition throughout our stay.
