Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Kamikawa District

It was a place to stay that I can recommend to all guests!The person in charge of the office is also very kind.The location is a little further away from the city, but Shimizu Park is just the right distance for a walk.This park, where you can feel the seasons, is highly recommended! It is very reasonable for 3-4 people to stay. Shimizu Town has a comprehensive partnership with Airbnb as a "whole town hotel" to promote the experience of moving to the town.The person in charge can also personally consult with you about relocation, so please experience Shimizu Town!

There are few places to stay with your dog, so I was grateful that they accepted us, and I was able to use it for a long-term stay plan, so I was able to have a little relocation experience. Thanks to you, I was able to visit places that I couldn't get around on a short trip and had a fulfilling stay. The room is spacious, easy to use, and I'd love to stay again.

We stayed for 2 days mid winter and it was comfortable and spacious in the quiet countryside. Sauna worked great. Very family friendly. Close enough to Furano for dinner and the Furano ski area. For some reason, and this may have been a software problem using a US phone in Japan, the address took us to the region, about a 6 block area, and not to the house. They were quick to send us a Google map pin that took us right there.

A small, cosy property equipped with basic cooking utensils. The space is quite small for 4 people, but it was alright for a short stay. Quite a drive away from any commercial area so be sure to get your supplies before reaching the property.

Nice stay, it’s a different place as it’s a coffee shop which is used as an air BnB it seems but it was good! It would benefit from some darker blinds and maybe a sofa to relax instead of just coffee tables and chairs. Location and host were excellent, we would stay again!

Two couples and one cat took care of us.The host, Katsumi, was very polite in explaining the accommodation and was easy to understand and helpful.They also provided cat equipment, which was helpful.I heard that the barn was renovated, but the room was warm and comfortable, and there were many paintings on display, which was a nice space.I'd love to see you again if I get the chance.Thanks for the hospitality!!

Jian was a great host from the beginning and worked with me on everything. Helped with luggage delivery and was responsive with upgrading towels. Would gladly stay again and recommend him to others

We loved the authentic Japanese feel of this house in the woods. We used the irori (hearth) to cook a lamb stew, which was an unforgettable experience. We were also able to walk to the nearby onsen which also has a restaurant/cafe. This is an excellent base from which to explore Asahidake and Sounkyo. The town of Kamikawa is also worth exploring.

伊勢 was a very friendly and responsive host. He came to give us a tour of the house when we checked in and gave us recommendations for the supermarket and restaurants nearby.

Obara’s place really felt like a traditional Japanese home with everything you needed! It’s very family and pet friendly and I would highly recommend it. A car is definitely needed as I didn’t see any public access. There are also a lot of nice and good shops around (chocolate, ramen etc). Additionally, Obara really went above and beyond as a host. I lost an item shortly after I left and he made such a big effort to check the whole house when he didn’t even need to and it was greatly appreciated. He also gave welcome snacks at the start and also respected our privacy in a shared space (if sharing the space is a concern for you). Couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

Eugenia and Nick were the most wonderful hosts! The 2-bedroom suite was the perfect refuge from the city life we are used too. We’re looking forward to coming back in winter!
