Amazing stay, really easy to get used to, everything was there and ready for us. Renko was extremely friendly and was there for our every need. The WiFi was strong and great location because it gave us the small town feeling in Tokyo with an easy accessible train station and short distance to the center of Tokyo, couldn’t have done better.

Had an amazing stay with Masa. Wanted something a little farther from the main city for my trip next to a train and this location was perfect. Very nice and peaceful and Masa was very responsive as a host. Highly recommend thank you!!!

Clean, quiet, and very well appointed home. It was obvious the host took great care to try and think of every detail to make this a comfortable stay. He was exceptionally responsive and also helped me with some of my trip plans when I asked. It was greatly appreciated! It is not close to the center of the city, which wasn’t always convenient but I would not have wanted to stay in the heart of bustling Shibuya, so it really comes down to preference.

The apartment is very spacious and clean! There is lots of closet space and places to lay out luggage without ever feeling cramped. The view from the bedroom window is spectacular at night, just a beautiful view of the Tokyo Tower. The appliances worked great especially the on-demand water heater, the super auto heat function on the microwave and the Dyson hair dryer! The shower room heater/room dryer dried our clothes and the room super fast. Walkable to a convenient store, grocery store, and good restaurants. The neighborhood is truly silent at night yet convenient to multiple train lines. Excellent stay❣️

Our family of 3 stayed for 4 night. We love the convenient location, which is a short 5-8mins walk from the station which is just one stop from a large interchange station. There are many convenience stores nearby for every thing you might need. We got ice cream from Family Mart every night when walking from station to the apartment. There is a clothes washing machine (15mins for rapid wash and 30mins for full cycle) and dried in the bathroom using the dryer in the bathroom. Clothes are dry when we wake up. Like other apartments in Japan, there is not much space within the apartment; for example there is no space to keep our suitcases open. I would suggest that max of 3 adults be the maximum although there is a single sofa bed available to accommodate the 4th adult. I would not recommend this.

Yukari was a great host who responded right away to questions. The accommodation is close to the station so you can quickly connect. The house was clean, great for stay with 2 people.

The place was amazing, it was a great place to focus for a few days and Tanaka was always responsive, plus went above and beyond to help me get something back which I had forgotten at the apartment. Definitely will be staying again

Our stay in Tokyo was truly special thanks to this wonderful family. They were incredibly communicative, helpful, and thoughtful-when they heard we were celebrating a birthday, they went out of their way to celebrate with us. The house is in a peaceful, convenient neighborhood with plenty of amenities nearby. Honestly, I'd recommend staying here just for the hosts alone-the comfort of the home and the charm of the area are just added bonuses.

This was our first trip to Japan and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Dans place! The house was exactly as pictured and the directions given were perfect! The home is fully equipped with everything you could need! Having the 3 floors was nice as we traveled as a family of 5 with 2 teenagers, so everyone was able to have their own space. I will say, if having a tv is important to you, there aren’t any in this home, but that was not an issue at all for our family! Dan provided great local recommendations and was very responsive with any questions I had. The house is in a great location for multiple train stations and corner stores. We will definitely reach back out to stay here again on our next trip to Japan!

We had a wonderful stay at Chie’s place. The apartment was lovely, clean, and in a peaceful area—perfect for a relaxing break. Chie and her husband were incredibly kind and responsive, always quick to reply and happy to help with any questions we had, even those not directly related to our stay. They gave great local recommendations and were very helpful when we were checking out. The beds were super comfy—definitely the highlight of the house! We’d love to stay here again in the future.

We enjoyed our stay very much. A great value for 6 adults. The rooms were clean and spacious, as well as the living room, dining room and kitchen. The location was excellent, only a short walk to Kojiya Station. A convenience store was across the street and a wonderful boulergerie just a couple minutes away. The hosts were responsive and friendly. We highly recommended this place for an enjoyable visit to Tokyo.

Yasu was the most thoughtful host! He kindly came to pick us up from the station and was so helpful with recommendations and information. There are adult bikes available to use. When we asked Yasu, where we could rent a bike for our 6 year old, he bought one for him! Our son was over the moon and loved cycling around. We explored many parks, and we didn’t cover all of them. I can highly recommend the Traffic Park, for kids. They have bikes and go-carts for the kids(for free). The house is really lovely, spacious and comfortable. Our son, had the room downstairs. He loved the mini foosball table, and having a huge room all to himself. There were welcome snacks and the fridge was packed with food and fruit! The location was also terrific for getting around. We loved it here, and would definitely come back again!

I honestly don’t know where to begin. Staying in Keiko’s home was truly one of the greatest honors of our time in Japan—it was a highlight of the entire trip. From the moment we walked through her door, we were immersed in Japanese culture. Keiko greeted us with warmth and kindness, making us feel immediately at home. She patiently guided us through everything, showing us how to use her space with care and respect. Her home is a reflection of her spirit—graceful, serene, and full of beauty. I was deeply moved and inspired by her presence and generosity. Being invited to take part in her traditional Japanese tea ceremony was an experience I will never forget. She took the time to teach us the rituals and meaning behind each step, explaining everything with such clarity and heart. She dressed us in beautiful kimonos, carefully helping us put them on the correct way. Drinking matcha that was pure and fresh—words fail me. It was unlike anything I’ve ever tasted. Everyone was very responsive and helpful with checking in. The location is extremely close to Haneda airport which makes it very convenient for getting to and from the airport. It is not as close as to the center of Tokyo, but it's not unreasonably far. The accommodation itself was very spacious and very clean. For the listed price, I would highly recommend if the area is okay to your needs.

We had a fantastic stay at Kanako Place! Traveling with a big family can be a challenge, but this place was absolutely perfect for us. It’s spacious, well-equipped, and had everything we needed for a comfortable week-long stay. Kanako was incredibly accommodating—allowing us an early check-in and a late check-out, which made a huge difference with our travel schedule. The location is unbeatable—just a short walk to the train station, with plenty of convenience stores and a market nearby. It’s also very central, making it easy to explore all the main attractions in Tokyo. This place is truly a hidden gem. Clean, cozy, and thoughtfully set up for families—we couldn’t have asked for more. Highly recommended!

Easy check in, Nice quiet place with large common area. They asked us to clean and put back all dishes along with taking our own garbage down to sorting room to dispose of it ourselves. This wasn't an issue but seemed unusual as it was the only airbnb out of the 7 we stayed with in Japan that had such rules and we were still paying a cleaning fee.

I had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The clear instructions provided made check-in a breeze, and I was welcomed by a friendly staff member who kindly assisted me with my luggage. The place was impeccably clean, equipped with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. It was pleasantly quiet, and just a 5-minute walk to the subway station.

Host was very responsive, and listing matched descriptions and pictures in the listing. The unit is 3 min walk from train station, which is really convenient. Host explained how to use all appliances. Quick response from host whenever we ask any questions. Would highly recommend this place!!

Great place and quiet neighbourhood Nearest station is like 5 minutes on foot and about 20-30 minutes for shinjuku so you don’t have to travel a lot to get to the center of Tokyo Kota is very responsive and helpful Definitely recommend

Superb stay in Shimokitazawa. We really loved the area (enough going on but not as mental as Shibuya). The apartment was a great base for a few days and the tub was a bonus. Thanks, would stay again ⭐️

we love our stay at Hitomi's place. It was super easy going in the appartement and with all the great recommandations she provided. We stayed in with a years old and a 5 months, it was super convenient. It's really closed to train's station and a lot of shops and restaurant.

Very nice to stay if you are looking for something affordable!
