Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Kalamata

Chalet perfectly located for those who want to radiate between 80 and 120 km ( about ) around, to reach 4 of the main archaeological sites and villages; From Mystras to Olympia ... Mountain and quiet atmosphere assured at an altitude of 638m; this chalet has an exceptional household equipment, to taste without moderation and with delight, in short, a father and his son very satisfied with their 10-day stay; Thank you Sarantos for entrusting us with this residence. This was my second visit with assorted family and friends and this time I rented for a month. Friends rented the attached house behind toward the end of my stay, which worked out wonderfully. The house and garden and views are unbeatable. The well-equipped kitchen and barbeque area make cooking a true joy and there are many restaurants and a few grocery stores and a butcher a short walk down the hill into the friendly and utterly charming village. The very clean and well equipped house reflects great attention to every detail and is esthetically very pleasing and comfortable. Kostas is a truly great and accommodating host. I am most grateful for a delightful stay.

Magical location, with an amazing sea view (the photos are below reality!), and great location for exploring the area as a whole. And a great and kind welcome from Dimitra and her husband. So the place was perfect for us (family of 4 including 2 teenagers).

Eleni and her son Nikos were great hosts. Very kind and helpful. The accommodation is very pretty and well maintained. We enjoyed our stay a lot and had a peaceful and lovely holiday. Nearby are some very good restaurants and beautiful beaches. Couldn’t be better.

Beautiful house in the heart of the village, with a small beach a few seconds away and several of great restaurants. The house is beautifully designed and very comfortable, with three large bedrooms that all equally nice and a shaded roof terrace. It is opposite a bar so there is some sound in one bedroom but it didn’t disturb us. More quiet murmuring than noise. Communication was good. The kitchen is good and being in the middle of the village is really fun. Kardamyli is lovely ( this was our 4th trip I think) with lots to do in the area. Even in August you can drive up the mountains and hike and the beaches are varied and relaxing. Tikla and Elies were our pick of the restaurants. A great stay.

We had a great stay at this amazing location. The host is very nice. We also enjoyed the fresh orange juice from the homegrown oranges.

It's the 2nd time we stayed at Eleanna's place. We've been there last year too. It's a really wonderfull place for those who love simplicity, quiet and calm place. It is so relaxing for the nerves. Sound of waves, birds, the view, all is peaceful. We will come again with pleasure.

Beautiful little hideaway in an idyllic place surrounded by great nature. And Claire was an excellent host! Bonus: We saw so many animals. Cuddly dogs and cats, but also foxes, martens and even badgers!

Very homely, close to bakery, supermarket and beach. Having a washing machine was brilliant. Beds were very comfy. Would recommend highly.

5 stars is few… Great space,the photos are unfair,in a very nice neighborhood of Kalamata,a very comfortable,beautiful, clean house that provided you more than you can imagine…as for the hospitality of Lamprini and her husband…impeccable! We'll visit them again soon as we were completely satisfied!

What a wonderful stay! Everything was exactly as described, the apartment was comfortable and perfect for my family, Nikos had everything we needed for a comfortable stay (baby crib, high chair), our kid loved playing outside in the garden and the views from our private balcony over the mountains, the sea and the olive trees were spectacular. We would love to come back again in the future! Thank you Nikos for an amazing stay!

Words can't describe this place and Dia our hostess. Before we got there, Dia went above and beyond to help us with our plans, both on our travel there and during our stay. From the minute we stepped in we felt right at home. Everything you need is there and the surroundings are simply magnificent. From the view from the apartment to the private beach below. It was everything we could ask for. A true paradise we would like to keep to ourselves for future trips.. and of course Dia who made our vacation even more enjoyable and made sure we have everything we need. Thank you Dia!

Very nice place, clean, spacious and welcoming!

Sophia is a wonderful host. The check in was so easy. 3 bathrooms were so convenient for 5 people but the 3 A/C's gave us a very cool environment even when the weather in Kalamata reached 100°F. Finaly the location offers some great views. Someone can view Kalamata from distance and the night lights give a glimpse of kalamata's beautiful insights. You will not regret it if you book Sophia's place. Thank you so much.

We stayed for 5 days in Klaus' apartment. It is in a lovely location , with beautiful views over the sea from the balcony. It was quiet. It had everything we needed and the host was very responsive. We had a wonderful stay. The only negative is that is is situated at the end of a rather steep road. We did not have a car so the climb up was - although good exercise for our legs - maybe challenging for older people ( we are 65+). As the place is not connected to the main drainage system, the host had asked us to use the outdoor shower, which was very pleasant.

Beautiful place just outside of Kalamata. The views are just amazing and you get the sun all day! Good facilities - mostly clean and we enjoyed our stay 😊

We have just had such a great family holiday at Villa Sadova. Its is beautiful and peaceful. The pool is great and sunsets over the sea whilst eating dinner are spectacular. Bedrooms and bathroom were luxurious and spacious. Would highly recommend.

An amazing castle like home over a very large olive gorge overlooking the ocean. Absolutely stunning scenery all around us. Home had all the amenities one would hope for and then some. Very large space for our family of 9. Pool and hot tub were a hit plus tons of games including foosball and ping ball. The upper deck was perfect for sunsets. And while we did not use they had this amazing wood fire BBQ and sitting area one could use. The location was great. We were basically on side of mountain in a secluded area but close enough to small villages and beaches. Lots of tavernas within 10 mins…4 tavernas within 1/4 mile (although 2 were closed due to slow season). Getting into Kalamata city center was about 25 mins and well worth it. Ann provided several suggestions on her Airbnb page. While there is taxi service i would highly recommend having your own vehicle Ann has a local host, Joanna, helping out and was super helpful and very responsive. Don’t hesitate to rent this place!

Everything was more than perfect and deserves more than 5 stars The house is amazing ideally placed the view is amazing The house is perfectly equipped, we are better than at home absolutely nothing is missing Maria had planned a meal because we arrived on a bank holiday These recommendations on places to visit are clear She makes a lot of effort to communicate in multiple languages Our privacy is respected even if she lives on the ground floor of the house All worth 6 out of 5 stars We'll be happy to go back. loved our stay,very relaxing and comfortable..Maria was an excellent communicator and Violetta did wonderful job with keeping it clean, especially with a baby.Pool area lovely . Will definitely return.

This is a top-end villa that is well appointed with almost every conceivable amenity. The outside sitting areas on each level are a delight and the hot tub is the perfect place to relax after a day of exploring. We would stay here again without hesitation.

Anna’s place is truly magical. The home is very private, nice and overlooking the valley below. We had a wonderful time at her house. Anna’s nice, showed us her home in all detail and was always available via phone if we needed something . As other reviewers said, her home is actually very tricky to find, as you have to drive a long, unpaved road uphill. However, her home is more suited for people dining out, as the kitchen lacks of proper cooking equipment, such as knives or a cutting board. All in all, our stay there was great and I would always recommend it to others.
