Family-friendly holiday rentals in Kakovatos

Nous avons passé un week-end dans la maison de Konstantinos avec des amis. Nous avons adoré la maison. La vue sur la mer est superbe. L’espace BBQ, avec four à pizza et grande table nous a permis de passer de très bons moments. La maison dispose de tous les équipements nécessaires, propreté impeccable. Nous recommandons vivement cette superbe maison pour des vacances entre amis ou famille.

Patrick's place was amazing! He responded to all our queries and fixe any issues that cropped up. It was lovely to stay in his family home and the views were stunning. It was any easy walk to the nearest taverna and not far from Kyparissia and local beaches. It was also only an hour away from Kalamata which is a busy town with a fantastic Saturday market. The track up to the house was fairly rough but totally manageable and suited us as it meant it was quiet and peaceful. We would highly recommend staying there.

An amazing castle like home over a very large olive gorge overlooking the ocean. Absolutely stunning scenery all around us. Home had all the amenities one would hope for and then some. Very large space for our family of 9. Pool and hot tub were a hit plus tons of games including foosball and ping ball. The upper deck was perfect for sunsets. And while we did not use they had this amazing wood fire BBQ and sitting area one could use. The location was great. We were basically on side of mountain in a secluded area but close enough to small villages and beaches. Lots of tavernas within 10 mins…4 tavernas within 1/4 mile (although 2 were closed due to slow season). Getting into Kalamata city center was about 25 mins and well worth it. Ann provided several suggestions on her Airbnb page. While there is taxi service i would highly recommend having your own vehicle Ann has a local host, Joanna, helping out and was super helpful and very responsive. Don’t hesitate to rent this place!

Ο Σταύρος κατάφερε να μας κάνει να νιώσουμε σαν στο σπίτι μας όχι απλά το προτείνω αλλά αν τύχη θα ξαναπάω κιόλας

Das Haus von Maria ist eine wunderschöne und sehr gemütliche Oase am Rand von Zacharo. Man fühlt sich sofort wie Zuhause und Maria ist eine tolle Gastgeberin. Im Garten kann man die Seele baumeln lassen und von der Terrasse aus tolle Sonnenuntergänge und den Sternenhimmel beobachten. Außerdem ist es ein super Ausgangspunkt um die Gegend zu erkunden. Tolle Strände, Bergdörfer und historische Orte sind mit dem Auto schnell zu erreichen. Wir hatten eine super schöne und erholsame Zeit und würden sehr gerne nochmal wiederkommen. Maison avec 3 chambres. Terrasse couverte donnant sur une grande piscine très propre. Le jardin est très joli également. La maison est près d’une grande route mais il n’y a pas trop de bruit de voiture, c est très calme. Nous avons eu en cadeaux des figues du jardin et des œufs, très gentille attention. Parfait pour visiter le sud du Péloponnèse.

Πολύ καλή εμπειρία διαμονής. Το σπίτι όπως οι φωτογραφίες, ο κήπος μεγάλος και ιδανικός για τον σκύλο μας. Η περιοχή πολύ κοντά σε Βυτίνα και Λεβίδι. Ωραία χαλάρωση και ησυχία. Ο Γιάννης ήταν άμεσος στην επικοινωνία και πολύ βοηθητικός. Φυσικά και προτείνεται.

Séjour agréable dans la région à 30 minutes de Olympie. La maison est sécurisé pour les jeunes enfants. On a pu profiter des jeux dans le jardin et à la plage qui est à seulement 1 minutes à pied.

A wonderful house, spacious, comfortable, well equiped, off street parking for one car and with several lovely patios to enjoy the outside. We felt at home and happy at once. Restaurants and very relaxed beaches at easy walking distance, the nearest only at 20 mtrs. Kalamata did not really appeal to us but the erea, especially the charming villages along the coast to the east certainly did! Excellent contact with host Vasia, her happy childhood memories are not hard to imagine. Highly recommended!

We were very happy with the accommodation. Everything was clean and in good working order. Even the knives were sharp. This was a great choice of accommodation for us.

Εάν υπήρχε η δυνατότητα αξιολόγησης άνω των 5 αστεριών η Efstathia και ο χώρος το αξίζουν. Το σπίτι όχι μόνο ανταποκρίνεται πλήρως στις περιγραφές και τις εικόνες αλλά χωρίς ίχνος υπερβολής ξεπερνούν κάθε προσδοκίας . Ο κήπος σου δίνει την δυνατότητα για πραγματικές στιγμές χαλάρωσης και ηρεμίας και παράλληλα η Έφη έχει φροντίσει να μην λείπει τίποτα από την οργάνωση του σπιτιού . Σε λιγότερο από 1 λεπτό με τα πόδια βρίσκεσαι στην παραλία και με το αυτoκίνητο δεν θα χρειαστεί πάνω από 30 λεπτά για να πραγματοποιείς τις εκδρομές σου στους πιο γνωστούς κοντινούς προορισμούς . Η Έφη φροντίζει να παρέχει αναλυτικότατες πληροφορίες για τα μέρη που μπορείς να επισκεφθείς (κοντινές παραλίες , αξιοθέατα , φαγητό και διασκέδαση ) και φυσικά είναι πάντα πρόθυμη σε όποια βοήθεια χρειαστεί. Έφη σου αξίζουν πολλά μπράβο γιατί πραγματικά έχεις δημιουργήσει ένα καταπληκτικό μέρος με εξαιρετική οργάνωση όπου κάποιος μπορεί να ηρεμήσει πραγματικά και να απολαύσει τις διακοπές του. Nikos ist ein toller Gastgeber – auch ohne persönlichen Kontakt fühlt man sich nicht wie bei einem anonymen Airbnb-Check-in. ;-) Es war etwas Besonderes, ein paar Nächte im ehemaligen Haus seiner Grossmutter zu verbringen. Der Strand ist ganz nah, und der Sonnenaufgang dort ist traumhaft. Besonders wohl gefühlt haben wir uns im Restaurant mit Liegestühlen direkt rechts am Strand. Für den Sonnenuntergang: Beauvoir, mit dem Auto 10min. Katakolo ist touristisch, aber ausserhalb der Zeiten der Kreuzfahrtschiffe sehr charmant – ideal für einen Spaziergang oder einen Happen zu essen. Man erreicht es zu Fuss am Strand entlang. Das Haus ist klein, aber gemütlich, mit vielen Sitzgelegenheiten draussen und einem praktischen Wasserstrahl im Garten. Wichtig zu wissen: Die Klimaanlage befindet sich nur im „Kinderzimmer“, im Zimmer mit Doppelbett gibt es einen Ventilator. Es war sauber – vereinzelt kann es Ameisen geben, aber das gehört zur Natur und ist Teil eines gesunden Ökosystems. :)

הנכס נמצא בסביבה שקטה חדרי השינה נוחים מאוד, יתרון בולט שהבריכה בנויה בתוך הבית וניתן להשתמש בה בכול מזג אוויר ומונע כניסה של חרקים. הנכס לא גדול אבל נותן תמורה ומפנק.

Wir haben 8 Tage in dem wunderschönen Haus am Meer verbracht. Das Haus ist liebevoll eingerichtet und durch das Wohnen auf zwei Ebenen super für 2 Paare geeignet. Auch unsere Hunde haben sich pudelwohl gefühlt. Noch schöner als das Haus selbst, ist der Garten mit Terrasse und vor allem der Blick auf das Meer. Es ist so unglaublich nah, dass man nur die Gartentür öffnen muss um direkt am Strand zu sein. Man hört im Schlafzimmer die Wellen und schläft mit Meeresrauschen ein! Hier kann man die Seele baumeln lassen! Maria, Kellys Mama, hat und sehr freundlich empfangen und alles gezeigt. Auch der Kühlschrank war schon mit dem Nötigsten gefüllt! Kelly war immer schnell erreichbar, super nett und hat uns sehr gute Tipps gegeben. Es war eine fantastische Zeit und ich werde mit sicherlich oft zurücksehnen!

My best recommendations! A beautiful and charming place - wonderful pool, view and garten.

We had an amazing stay. We had the ground floor apartment of a three storey property where Stathis family resides- even though this was the case, we had our own privacy to the grounds and the pool. The family were extremely lovely and we hardly saw them. The property was spotless and the grounds were extremely beautiful and peaceful with the fruit and herb trees surrounding the property. The kids had a great time in the pool. We loved our stay and we loved Kalamata!

Die Wohnung, das Anwesen, der Pool und der Ausblick aufs Meer waren großartig und haben uns und den Kindern sehr gut gefallen. Wir können dieses Airbnb nur empfehlen! Nancy war super nett und jederzeit für unsere Fragen da. Ihre Restaurantempfehlungen waren auch super! Alles in allem ein grandioser Urlaub in Marathopolis!

Thank you so much, Bernadette and Rod, for great hosting! The experience was beyond all our expectations! The cabin is very clean and equipped with everything you need and beyond. The place is kid-friendly, Bernadette provides some toys games, and movies for the kids, as well as great sea wheels, to enjoy within the pool. The pool is clean and access to it is not easy for toddlers so it is safe. The view is stunning. From one side you get to see the mountains while from the other side you can see the sea. The cabin is in a rural and secluded place so it's just your quiet and great nature. The hosts give self-produced olive oil that upgrades every meal and salad you make. In addition, there are grapes growing up in the yard you can pick and eat. Bernadette and Rod are super nice and friendly. Thank you for a great experience!

Hans and effervescent Matina were very welcoming. This is their summer home which they stay in when not rented out, therefore it feels well cared for and comfortable . They provided us with olive oil produced from their own olive grove, a lovely bottle of wine, bread, honey, eggs, and other "essentials". Hans was on tap whenever you needed him and gave great tips on the local beaches, countryside etc. Thoroughly recommended.
