We had an incredible stay at Esko’s place! The location is absolutely stunning, right by the lake, offering breathtaking views and the perfect setting for relaxation. Esko recommended fishing, and it turned out to be an unforgettable experience for us. The surroundings are incredibly quiet, providing the most peaceful nights we’ve ever had—ideal for a good night’s sleep. The house itself is cozy and felt just like home. When we arrived, the house was already warm and welcoming, which we deeply appreciated. The location is also very convenient, with close proximity to larger cities like Rovaniemi, Oulu, and Kajaani. It’s also near ski resorts. Having sauna is amazing A short drive away, the town of Puolanka offers everything you might need. Additionally, there’s excellent connectivity in the area, so we had no issues accessing mobile internet during our stay. We highly recommend Esko’s place for anyone looking for a peaceful retreat. Thank you, Esko, for making our stay so memorable!

Olemme täysin tyytyväisiä mökkiin, tuli vietettyä pääsiäisen vapaat tässä mökissä. Mökistä löytyi kaikki tarvittava ja astiasto ja välineet hyvät myös pidempään majoittumiseen. Saunasta hyvät löylyt ja sauna viihtyisä, meillä oli käytössä myös palju, joka lämpeni nopeasti ja oli mukava palju. 😊 Oma rauha koko lomailun ajan ja viihtyisä piha, jossa viettää aikaa ja mökki sisältä myös viihtyisä ja siisti.

Oltiin mökillä joulunseutu 2019 ja nyt uusinta! Majoittaja-Pentti oli hurjan avulias ja jeesasi aina kun oli tarve, myös täysin omasta aloitteestaan, mistä jäi kyllä todella hyvä fiilis. Lapsettomana pariskuntana mukavan rauhaisalla paikalla sijaitseva mökki oli meille sopivan kokoinen ja viihdyimme mainiosti. Vahva suositus!

Saana is a fantastic host - good communication throughout our stay, with lots of recommendations and really helpful answers to any questions. We used the property as a stop off for a night on the way to Martinselkonen. There are plenty of facilities at the lodge and a plentiful supply of blankets, spare boots, and a stocked up kitchen with essentials such as spices. We would love to stay here again and have more time to explore the area

Huoneisto oli hyvin siisti, kaunis ja tilava. Se vastasi hyvin kuvausta. Meidän nelihenkinen perhe majoittui hyvin ja vietimme sporttisen loman Vuokatissa. Yhteydenpito sujuvaa majoittajan kanssa. Saimme huoneiston käyttöömme jo aamupäivästä, keskustelu sujuvaa ja joustavaa majoittajan kanssa.

Kohde oli hienolla ja rauhallisella paikalla. Vastasi kuvausta ja mökistä löytyi kaikki tarpeellinen. Voisin tulla uudestaankin 😊

Lisas Wohnung ist sehr schön und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Eine 80 Jahre alte Sauna direkt am See war wunderbar. Vielen Dank Ulrich

Erittäin kiva asunto 2,5v taaperon kanssa majoittumiseen. Hyvä varustelu, siisti. Paljon leluja, runsaasti pyyhkeitä ja keskeinen sijainti.

This place is truly extraordinary. The lake view can be admired from anywhere in the house, including the sauna. Everything was perfect—Lassi welcomed us and gave us a brief introduction to what the accommodation offers, and then we enjoyed a hot sauna with an amazing view. As a bonus, Lassi stocked the fridge with local beer, which we thoroughly enjoyed. In conclusion, this place is worth staying at, whether you're just passing through for a night or looking for a peaceful, longer vacation by the lake.

Todella hyvällä sijainnilla oleva asunto. Lyhyt matka kaikkiin aktiviteetteihin. Majoituksessa oli hyvä varustus.

Pour une étape ou quelques jours l’endroit est parfait. L’ancien Hôtel de Ville a été joliment décoré et les pièces sont très chaleureuses. Merci à Ulla Maija et Markku pour leur accueil. Nous recommandons pour un couple ou comme nous une famille de 3 à 100%. Espérons revenir dès que possible.

Beautiful and cozy house in the middle of nature! After a warm welcome by Harri and Tuula we had a great time in snowy Finland. We had everything we needed for a week to calm down and relax. Big recommendation!
