Andy’s space provided functionality in a quiet area! First the communication was impeccable and timely. Every question or concern that I had was answered efficiently. There was plenty to do from gameplay to pool time with ample room for extra miscellaneous activities you would want to bring along. There is a family grill, which is a necessity for a getaway because who doesn’t love to barbecue? Everything that you would need was very easy accessible. The home was clean, big, and beautiful for my family and I. I would definitely attend again if the future permits!

This place was amazing!! It surpassed what we expected and it was just what we needed after spending over 10 hours on the road with 4 toddlers. The playground and all the things to do out back was AWESOME! It was so nice to have them run around and play right before getting on the road again. Would have loved to stay here longer! The inside was immaculate as well and beds were very comfortable and the entire house was spotless. Thank you Fidel Alberto for making us feel right at home!

Milan and Don puts the host in hostess. They were Johnny on the spot for everything I needed. I went for small pool party. They offered things that I utilized the next day and was able to pull off a fish fry lol. Awesome host and the pool was everything.

Taajah was a wonderful host with a beautiful home. It was very clean, comfortable and was perfect for what we needed! Very peaceful neighborhood! We stayed a full week for baseball. We were able to enjoy the pool, cook dinner ourselves and we were very close to shopping. Taajah’s instructions and descriptions were very clear and easy to understand. Highly recommend booking with Taajah if you are staying in the Hoover area!

One of the nicest Airbnbs I’ve ever stayed in. I was here on a work trip with four people, and the space was perfect. With four bathrooms, getting ready each day was effortless—no waiting, no stress. From the moment we walked in, the place was set up beautifully. It honestly felt like stepping into a day spa—calm, clean, and just an immediate sense of relaxation. It set the tone for an amazing stay. We absolutely loved this place. Highly recommend!

We stayed at Hammocks Rest for a week during our daughter's wedding. It is a unique house that has been tastefully decorated. There is a farm house charm with an elevated feel. The rooms a spacious as we never felt cramped even with all the wedding accessories in tow Having a bedroom with a bathroom and shower on the main level was perfect for my elderly mother. She only had two steps to get into the home. The host was understanding and went above and beyond to accommodate us. There is a back patio with large table that worked well for sharing a meal. We took advantage of a relaxing front porch sitting as well. There is a peaceful area in the trees for a private vespers. We enjoyed staying at Hammock Rest and am glad our stay was long enough to appreciate the home and the work and details the owner has done to make this an extra special location.

This spot was exactly what I was looking for. Clean, good parking, easy to access UAB for medical appointments. Would stay again!

We were grateful to have a cozy, intentionally designed space to stay right off the interstate on our way home! The bunk beds for the kids and the swing in that same room were a bonus. There were a few touches that would have been appreciated like coffee available as well as dishwasher detergent for setting up the washer before leaving, but overall we were pleased with the space. You can tell a lot of TLC went into it!

Beautiful property and quiet for a nice getaway! The host contacted me in advance to see if there was anything special they could have ready for us. Since it was my husband’s birthday, I requested a drink and candy that he likes. When we checked in it was there in the fridge for him and was such a nice surprise! We’ve stayed at many Airbnb’s but this small extra of going above and beyond definitely stood out!

5 Stars – Perfect Spot for a Golf Getaway or Group Trip! My friend and I stayed at Chris’s Airbnb in Birmingham for a 3-night, 4-day golf trip and had a fantastic experience. The home is located in an older neighborhood, but we had no issues at all with safety during our stay. In fact, the location was very convenient—close to golf courses, restaurants, and grocery stores. The house was very clean, appeared recently updated, and had plenty of space. It would be great for larger groups or families. One of the highlights was the downstairs entertainment area—it was a really cool space to relax after a long day on the course. Chris was an outstanding host. His communication was excellent from start to finish, and he generously allowed us to check in early. As a thoughtful touch, he left a handwritten welcome note along with golf balls and tees, knowing we were in town for a golf getaway. Highly recommend this spot to anyone visiting Birmingham—especially for golf trips or group stays.
