Great place for a private getaway. Private water and balcony with great sunsets. Big yard for games. Cute breakfast place (Old Macs) just a short drive away. Good Crappie fishing, and lots of fun wildlife. Quick responses to questions. Great way to spend weekend out in the fresh air.

This was one of the best AirBNBs I have ever visited. The home is beautiful, clean, and comfortable. All of my guests had nothing but positive things to say about their stay. The amenities were the bomb! Everything I could have imagined I needed and more were there for our convenience. I highly recommend this AirBNB to anyone looking for a wonderful place to stay.

It's always a thrill to stay in old buildings. You just don't know what you'll get, maybe ghosts, maybe nothing. At one point, I texted my friend because over the howling wind from the snowstorm, I heard a girl's laughter. Well, it turned out to be other renters. So, no ghost for me. The accommodations were really comfortable and the hosts went out of their way to make sure I was alright. The area is remote which is what I like. It was a peaceful two day stay.

This was our second time staying at this location and we can’t wait to return next time we are in town! It is a beautiful home and quiet area! Angela is a wonderful host and responds quickly to any messages! Hopefully next time we will be able to stay longer and get to enjoy the home and amenities more! My husband and I needed a short getaway for our anniversary. We needed a place to unwind from the daily rat race and reconnect with nature and each other. This property was absolutely beautiful and serene! It met all our needs! The host was very communicative and allowed us to check in early. Super clean and had everything we needed for our stay! The property was so peaceful and we loved to see and hear all of nature! We spent the day at nearby Newton Lake! We will be back!

We loved our stay! It was beautiful, quiet, and very well maintained! Bev checked in on us to be sure we had everything we needed and provided a delicious treat when we checked in! Expert comfort level from the blankets to the couches and chairs, to the beds. We enjoyed it so much we didn’t venture out much at all.

We pulled up and went inside and it was very comfortable right from the entrance. Felt like I was at home. She left very clear instructions for us to find everything. It’s not very often. I find a place that I feel sad when I leave. I wish we could’ve stayed a few more days. I highly recommend staying here.

Since I book for other people I can't say what the stay itself was or what the drivers who were there were like, but the communication and the home itself looked exactly as advertised. Hope the drivers left it as they found it.

Everything was as expected, but the bathroom could have used an extra towel rack and a hook for clothes. Also, handles in the shower for safety are needed for older guests because the tub was very slippery. We enjoyed our time there and it was hassle-free. Jenny was responsive to our needs and questions. Our stay was pleasant and we enjoyed the convenience of being close to family. No complaints here other than the suggestions about the bathroom. We loved how big and well lit our room was. Lots of windows to enjoy the outside views. Thank you for a very pleasant stay.
