We stayed 6 nights with Annica and Daniel, who are very friendly and hospitable people. The moment we arrived we felt ourselves at home. The cozy holiday home was fully furnished and equipped with all conveniences. We were allowed to use everything outside. It was allowed for our kids to play with the outdoor toys and sledges. Because Annica and Daniel were on holiday themselves, we saw each other a lot. They are very friendly and could give us tips about the area. Finally, we also celebrated New Year's Eve together at the frozen lake. Thank you again, for everything!

The house was well above expectations, it was large, spacious, clean and you really felt at home. Katja is a fantastic host, incredibly helpful, was attentive to our stay so that we had it as good as possible. Recommend this accommodation, we are incredibly happy with everything and will definitely return.

Nice and spacious home with all amenities you need for short and longer stays. The beds are incredibly comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped and laundry room has a washing machine and tumble dryer. TV in every room. Quiet place close to nature, shop and Østersund city center. Recommended!

We spent 5 months in this beautiful house, very nice and with a magnificent view. We could have stayed there more without any problem ^^. The house is really very nice and well equipped. When we leave, we will regret the beautiful sunrises/sunsets on the lake that we never got tired of in 5 months;) The stay went very well and Justin was always very easy to reach and quick to answer our questions We had a very warm welcome when we arrived too. We would recommend it with pleasure, both the house and Justin:)

We found Maria and Kent absolutely the best hosts, treated us more like long lost friends. We hope they come to visit us in Australia soon You really need your own transport to get there, we came by train but Kent offered to pick us up from the train station. Next day he took us down to the COOP shop for groceries but it didn't end there he also took us on a tour of the surrounds he is genuinely so proud of the piece of paradise where he lives. On our last day Maria took time off work to drive us back to the railway station. The location is stunning right next to Gissjo, the lake, lovely birch and fir trees all around. All around the lake you see the lovely Swedish farm building and dazzling green fields. Fransta, the township/village looks over Ljungan, a great waterway parts lake parts river. I would rate this place as a must see for any nature lover.

Warmly welcomed on site! Mats & Hanna even solved an extra night for us when I happened to book wrong. A solid home with that little extra where every detail is thought through. A feeling of luxury & convenience in a peaceful oasis in the countryside but close to the city. Fantastic view & so much fun with balls & trampoline for our 6-year-old. Excellent information! Shining clean! An airy and very spacious apartment with a completely open floor plan, one flight of stairs up. Comfortable beds. Fresh bathroom. A beautiful natural pool in the garden. There is a lot that the host provides (games, bicycles, etc.) that is certainly good for families with children. Dogs are welcome and there is a nice little road for walks. We only made a short visit, but we will be happy to come back!

Everything was just as described, easy to find and access. As I am not a fan of strong scents, we didn't care much for the strong scent of the diffuser in the bath (we placed it temporarily on the balcony and vented the place, so not a big deal). Very practical with the garage and bike-in bike-out location for VM8. Also enjoyed the well equipped kitchen.

The apartment was homey and we felt at home in a family but still completely private with nice hiking trails around the most beautiful village in Sweden! :)

Perfect and beautiful environment. We visited a lot. Of lakes and ponds. What we were missing was wood for grilling. But as described, there was a fireplace, but that does not mean that there is wood. This is often available in most homes. Recommendation to bring your own bag of charcoal, for a perfect experience. Highly recommend this place.

Very nice, cozy hut. Great location with a view of the lake. Great starting point to explore the Vildmarksvägen route.

Inger was warm , simple and clear and you felt welcome one right away. The place if you are looking for water close and cozy cabin, with wood-fired sauna, wood fired stove plus everything that is in a modern kitchen. If you want peace for the soul or fishing, and get to town ( close to Östersund. ) The place gave you the feeling of not wanting to go home, does the next say everything ? // Lasse

The hosts couldnt have been more helpful and kind. The rental cottage is so adorable and the area is amazing for hiking. Set right by a beautiful stream that is over looked with the bedroom terrace.
