We truly liked our stay at Fun Beach. Nice staff, clean rooms, fun area, big swinging pool and a lot of space to relax. Definitely can recommend it.

We highly recommend KiteActive Guesthouse for Kitesurf-enthusiasts as it is really close to the beach and awesome kite spot. We enjoyed the room, the food and the atmosphere. Heleen and her team made our stay unforgettable. Asante sana for your hospitality, we would love to come back anytime.

My stay here was great. It's a walking distance to the Kuza caves. It's on the beach and the pool is heated, so you can swim at night. Loved the sea view from the room. The breakfast is awesome too, with a variety. Overall it's a very good place I'd highly recommend.

Fleur was a lovely host! She and her team are very welcoming and warm! She gave us tips to discover Zanzibar. We went with a bike to the villages near Jambiani and discovered a secret place! Wow! The rooms are very big, clean and cosy, just like the rest. We enjoyed the pool very much. The restaurant just opened, with delicious food. We tried different foods in Jambiani, but the food at Zanzistar was the best. Very tasty! Thank you for feeling at home! Keep up the good work! Greetings Bart and Julia

We had a great stay in Paje Hotel. The garden is so beautiful and the rooms simple but very nice. Only for the last night we had to change our room to one upstairs. This one was not so nice (no working aircon, not much daylight and you could hear the neighbors very well). We preferred the rooms downstairs. But all in all we enjoyed our stay alot.

Had a great stay. The rooms are really clean and cool. Great food in the restaurant and really nice staff. The tour operator Toby organized a fantastic dolphin watching and snorkeling trips!

A dream resort for backpackers.

Fleur De Lis Villa was wonderful. The hotel was beautiful, the staff was friendly, and the food was great. The only downside is there is no beach to swim at - you need to travel about 15 minutes away to get to one. That said, there are two lovely small pools and the grounds are small but very nice. The room was exactly what we needed and they went out of their way to make sure our two year old was comfortable as well. I would recommend anyone stay here who wants an out of the way spot to spend a relaxing few days.

We loved absolutely everything about this place! Very quiet and relaxing location but at the same time very close to all restaurants and the beach. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful and we felt very welcomed from the second we arrived. This place is a real gem, would recommend it 100%! 🌞

Very nice place: clean, well located, with nice (although a little lost) service, it also offers a variety of experiences at reasonable prices. Everything is as described. A little hard to communicate with Mo on an ongoing basis, the villa on AirBNB is also under a different name than the resort, so no one in the area knows how to get there, but as we managed, it was great - so far this is the best place in Zanzibar we've been to. We recommend!

This is a wonderful facility with great and friendly service. It is right on the beach and the pools are beautiful and well maintained. The chef was great and we ate almost all our meals there. It is a little out of the way to the north of Bwejuu.

Dragonfly is a very nice and calm place. The rooms were just like the pictures, and everything was very clean. The employees were so helpful and friendly. 10/10, would definitely recommend.

Mira and Jojo have created a paradise in paradise. It was exactly what I was looking for: away from the tourist centers, close to nature and still good network coverage to be able to work. The delicious breakfast was included and I had dinner cooked. This really allowed me to focus on working. Tip: Get a SIM card from Tigo/Yess in advance. The WIFI was not always stable. However, those who expect a sterile hotel are out of place here. The property is rustic: palm tree roof with geckos, no air conditioning, no fridge. For this, you have a fantastic view of the sea and private access. For me, it was perfect! Mira and Jojo were not on site but always available and helpful. Her employees took care of them lovingly. The food was very delicious.

Atypical place lost in nature, right next to a small beach, if you need something, just call a local biker who will take you or drop you off what you want at home Dveer is very open I recommend

I enjoyed my stay so much that I opted to extend! It’s a very comfortable room, beautiful bathroom, and the proximity to the beach was fantastic for rolling out of bed and into sunrise meditations. Chantale was very helpful and went above and beyond to connect me to resources I needed. I would caution just that there’s quite a bit of construction going on now (July ‘23). It was mostly white noise to me, but as a guest I’d want to be aware of it, if sensitive to that sort of commotion. The WiFi was also fairly inconsistent—I’d recommend at sim card for internet needs.

Deja Blue is such a great place to meet people! I found it to be very affordable for Paje and it definitely has a communal/ community vibe. The room was big and clean with a great mosquito net and hot water. Perfect place for travelers and kite surfers to mingle.
