I highly recommend Joao’s house. Staying there is an authentic Amazon experience and the highlight of my Amazon trip. The house is right on the river, and the pictures do not quite do the justice on how cool the location is, especially during sunrise and sunset. It is a great place to relax and watch the river peacefully flow by. The house is very clean, with a well stocked kitchen. It is surrounded by tropical trees and plants that I had seen for the first time. Joao was a great host. He communicated well and helped me with the pickup at Manaus. His brother waited for me and took me to shopping. When I booked, my biggest worry was how to get there, which turned out being as smooth as it gets. I mainly visited this area for fishing. I was not disappointed. I had very experienced local fishermen as my guides for the next few days, and we caught large peacock bass. I saw the Amazonian fisherman life at first hand. It’s well worth the ride getting there. I had a fantastic time.

My Orley hosting experience was simply wonderful! From the first contact, he proved extremely polite, proactive and kind, always concerned with making sure everything was perfect for my stay. The welcome was so warm that I felt truly at home. His wife was also extremely attentive and kind, which made the experience even more special. Undoubtedly, I recommend to everyone who is looking for a welcoming, comfortable and welcoming environment with Hosts who really care about the well-being of their guests. Space - AM Inn and Events

We closed the rent to access the house at the same time as our hotel canceled the reservation and we were already in the city. The house is exactly as advertised, the checkin was very quick, Mr. Lucian (man who takes care of the house) was super receptive and helped us in what we needed. The location is good, the street quiet. The swimming pool was our favorite part, all rooms are air-conditioned and the beds accommodate 14 people. As the following day would have an event onsite, we had to leave earlier than the checkout time, which was not an issue for us and we still got a bonus coffee. Dots that can improve: the beds are a little hard, but we miss electric shower in the morning and a large mirror (woman's thing), but we indicate the house and we will come back for sure.
