Great place to unwind and chill by the pool. Be aware that there are a lot of mosquitoes in the area. The huts were ok, but did not have electricity. The wifi worked most of the time that we were there. The only thing is to have better instructions about the entrance to location. Note that the road for cars is rough. Also, there is only 1 outdoor bathroom that is shared with all the huts. Host was friendly and helpful. It was relaxing to hang out at the pool. For the price, the place was peaceful and quiet.

We had a great stay. They have a restaurant below and you can ask them to cook food for you. If you are planning to go to the Enchanted River, you can stay here. It’s just 10-15 mins away. We spent our Noche Buena here and were very happy and satisfied with the restaurant’s service. Generous portions and delicious food. The room is decent. Will definitely recommend.

Good place. Just right for staying in for the night after coming to hinatuan enchanted river. There were not enough rugs and no bidet for the toilet or near faucet but is alright. Its very cold arnd the area bc of trees. Staffs were friendly and helped us finding for food stalls arnd

If you’re looking for a cozy spot 10-15 away from the Enchanted River and Hinatuan Bus Station, we highly recommend staying at KrizLion. The couple who owns the property made us feel comfortable that we even celebrated my friend’s birthday during our stay. Ate is a good cook too, so don’t miss ordering their seafood platter and sinigang na sugpo. Also, if you’ll have a hard time looking for tour operators to accommodate different packages, worry not - they can also arrange tours for 2pax or a large group.

Took a chance on Nature's Haven Resort in Lianga, Surigao del Sur, as there was zero reviews on Airbnb as well as zero online presence. What we discovered was one of the most beautiful, peaceful, wonderful provincial resorts I have ever discovered hidden deep in the jungles of Lianga, Surigao del Sur. It is only a two hour drive from Butuan. It is close to Bao Bao Falls, which I highly recommend. We originally booked a cottage that was not available due to a wedding, so we had to settle for lesser room out on the sea, on a house on stilts literally in the mangrove. Absolutely beautiful! Accommodation not so much but I always have lower expectations in the province. Host was slow to reply back most of the time, it was their first Airbnb transaction so I had to have extra patience. Nature Haven was worth the drive! My gf and I loved exploring the mangrove marine life hidden during low tide. It is a food desert, no restaurant or food nearby at all. We enjoyed our stay!
