Walking distance to Interlaken ost. Very quiet and clean place. Kitchen is well equipped and we were able to make breakfast and dinner easily. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious. We appreciate the flexibility of letting us leaving our luggage before the check in time.

This home is in a lovely location with the most gorgeous views. It's an amazing place to get away from the noise and bustle of a lively city. We enjoyed both of the double-decker balconies constantly and made the best memories!

Sehr schöne Umgebung und Aussicht. Im Haus gibt es alles, was man braucht. Die Gastgeber sind telefonisch sehr gut erreichbar und sehr Hilfsbereit.

Wir haben den Aufenthalt im Chalet sehr genossen. Fernab vom Trubel und Stress konnten wir die wunderbare Lage und Aussicht geniessen. Urs und seine Eltern waren stehts erreichbar, hilfsbereit und haben sich gut um uns gekümmert. Vielen Dank!

A beautiful chalet, on the smaller size but perfect for a family of four. Meiy and family were friendly and were flexible with us when our ferry was delayed and we arrived late. Meiy's English was good and she gave us a nice tour when we arrived. The place was spotless, expertly cleaned, even towels and dishcloths etc. were neatly folded ready for use, clearly a lot of effort went into making this perfect! For summer tranquility, the peace and quiet is exceptional, just meadows and cow bells! But this also has an impact as it is a 15 minute journey to get to a main road and about 20-25 minutes to the shops, not that we minded. Downsides - I think the biggest downside for us was the lack of a washing machine, the nearest place to do washing was 20 mins away in the nearest town. Also if there could be some USB-C charging sockets this would be helpful, Swiss adapters are hard to find and our euro ones didn't always work. Overall we loved our stay and would come back!

The FeWo was well equipped. Spectacular view of the lake and mts. Everyone wanted to take the main table home with them. The beds need some toppers. A coffee maker would be helpful. Tall people need to be assigned to the ground floor shower. We loved our time there and thought the bus and train connections to Interlaken were easy to use. The mgr. is a biology teacher so we suspect the unmowed back yard was to promote pollination.

We booked a two-night stay at Markus place in August 2024. It is a cozy chalet in a charming Swiss village with a handful of houses. The place was clean, comfortable, with a mix of beautiful traditional woodwork and modern kitchen and bathroom at the same time. The village is very quiet so you are also expected to respect the locals and not get too loud. We had 3 kids with us and that was not a problem for us. Although there are no stores or restaurants within the village itself, we found it very conveniently located, we were able to easily reach nearby towns to explore mountains, lakes or go out for dinner. Everything was under 30 min away and we managed to explore lots during our short stay. Overall highly recommend as a base for exploring the area if you love peace, quiet and falling asleep with cow bells. 🇨🇭🧀🐄

Wir hatten ein super Wochenende in Grindelwald und haben uns im Chalet Steinegg gleich wohl gefühlt. Das Team Steinegg hat Fragen und Nachrichten sehr schnell beantwortet und war unkompliziert und immer freundlich. Die Unterkunft war für uns als grosse Gruppe genau richtig und gut ausgestattet. Es hatte genügend Geschirr und auch grosse Schüsseln. Wir können das Chalet & die Lage / schöne Aussicht sehr empfehlen und waren rundum zufrieden. 😊

The best place to stay in Grindelwald

We loved staying in Jenny's condo in Wengen! What a fabulous view we had from two decks overlooking the Jungfrau & Eiger mountains! We will absolutely return for another stay - walkable to Wengen for restaurants and Coop grocery. We loved the option of the shuttle when we arrived which helped with luggage and location. Thanks Jenny for sharing your amazing condo with us!!

A Dream Stay at Tatjana's House – Truly Unforgettable! 🏡✨ Staying at Tatjana's House was truly a dream come true! The property is beyond beautiful – every corner is thoughtfully detailed, with carefully placed masterpieces that make the home feel alive, as if each space is speaking to you. The house is exceptionally well-equipped with everything a family or group could need. From the kitchen to the bathrooms and bedrooms, every essential has been taken care of – making it a perfect home away from home. You’ll truly feel like you’re living your dream life right here in the heart of Switzerland. The whole experience was mind-blowing. A huge thank you to Tatjana, the best host ever – always available online and super helpful throughout our stay. And a special shout-out to Peter, our driver – incredibly punctual, knowledgeable and so kind. He made our local travel smooth and stress-free. We highly recommend this stay to anyone visiting Wengen. Honestly, while we’ve returned home.

It was the perfect location in Wengen 20 min from town. Wonderful trails, fantastic views, cozy. Had washer/dryer included. Had all the amenities for a lovely stay, would definitely go back. There are no cars in Wengen so you have to take luggage by train from Lauterbrunnen. Petra gave clear instructions where to park, and from the parking lot there were clear instructions to Wengen. If you have luggage, would 100% utilize the taxi service Petra gives you, (25 Swiss Francs one way - Cash), which will drop you off in front of chalet. do did this for check in and check out. Otherwise it's a 20 min walk to town one way, great way to get steps.

The house felt practically brand new and was stocked with every amenity our big family could need—and then some. The surroundings are stunning, and it’s just a short, easy five-minute walk to the ski area. Lukas himself was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay, which made everything run smoothly. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would love to come back!

Great place in a very serene setting. No neighbors, just a few cows with bells a few hundred feet away. only about 500 ft. from the cabin is the Bort station. so going down to the village is very easy. we had to use the fireplace and the wood furnace, it was actually very unique and cool experience. definitely recommend for people who want to be more with nature and further away from the business of the town. there is a nice automatic espresso machine with ability to throth milk, so we made cappuccinos and latte every morning.
