We loved our stay and Peter and Charmaine were great hosts. Showed us all the great spots and super helpful with any questions we had. The house is in a great location with beautiful views and just a short walk to the beach. This is definitely one of the place to stay when visiting Barra Beach!

This is an amazing house at a great location. A lot of days we didn’t even want to leave the house for activities as it is very relaxing to hang out on the porch, taking a dip in the pool, watching butterflies, taking fruits from the trees… We’ve had an amazing time!

This is a hidden gem in portion, that is well equipped and adequately priced. Host was very accommodative of our travel itinerary in accommodating us. Pity our stay was short, looking forward to visiting again for longer.

Beautiful property made of 3 independent structures revolving around the central pool. Perfect for groups of 6+ people. Good vibe and great views over the ocean from all the common area and from a couple of rooms. Helena, the cleaner, is great and cooks delicious fish.

La maison de Lorien est superbe ! Nous étions un groupe de 8 personnes, chacun avait une chambre spacieuse. La cuisine est bien équipée. Tout est tellement bien pensé, des détails tels que des patères partout pour sécher nos serviettes de bain, nos maillots... le personnel de maison a été extraordinaire et nous a donné de précieux conseils. Enfin, l'emplacement de cette maison, littéralement sur la plage, est incroyable ! Merci à Lorien et son équipe pour ce séjour inoubliable. C'est l'une des plus belles maisons que j'ai eu l'occasion de louer 😍

Superbe maison pour 12 personnes. Très grande et pratique. Très propre. Localisation paradisiaque sur la plage avec 4 chambres vue sur mer. Nous étions en famille et avec des amis, nous avons adorés. Bonne communication avec Cindy, notre hôte. Avoir 2 personnes à plein temps en plus qui s’occupent de la maison durant notre séjour (ménage, vaisselle, aide au quotidien, aménagement de la terrasse) étaient un vrai plus également. Je recommande vivement.

By far the most beautiful Air BnB we have ever stayed in! The property is really unusual with spectacular views. It’s a short walk to the beach and market/restaurants but is lovely and private. The cleaning team and Jacinto/his team were outstanding at helping us to book taxis and kept the property spotless. The only thing to keep in mind is its completely open plan - including the toilet. So you need to be very familiar with your partner if staying here as a couple!

If you looking for lovely sandy beach and secluded beaches with lovely reefs for snorkeling less than 1km away this is the place to be! The staff are really friendly and very helpful. The place is safe and really a lovely home! The resturant less than 200m away serves the best sea food simple menu but made to perfection! Really a great location and perfect place to unwind! ELS is really a great host! Would definitely recommend this holiday home!

Vento Verde is a rare find. We were a group of 4 and spent 3 serene nights here. Though we didn’t meet the owner, every detail reflects his aesthetic sensibility and deep reverence for nature. The open, airy layout lets the natural breeze flow through, with clean lines, rustic texture, and a seamless connection to the outdoors. Practically, everything works. The house is meticulously maintained. Kitchen is fully equipped and sparkling clean- we enjoyed preparing meals together. Bedrooms are comfortable, with thoughtful attention to airflow and light. Suzu, the house dog, was a gentle and calming presence and offered quiet companionship and the occasional cuddle. Manuel, the caretaker, was kind and discreet; we appreciated his help cleaning fresh seafood for dinner. Beach is steps away. Up the dune, I came across a wooden bench with a carved line: Kairos — the fleeting rightness between time and space. It captures the spirit of this place perfectly. We felt lucky to experience it.

Really enjoyed the stay with Fatimas! close to everything, beach, market, service station, everything just around the corner! House is fully equip with everything you need. the photo of the cover is underrating the house, it is much more to offer when live in.

What a wonderful few days. A beautiful home with the most stunning sunsets. I could not have asked for a better spot to relax. Close to the beach. Wonderful restaurants and coffee shops. Within walking distance. Jacki was amazing. Helped me with "what to do" and generally just a very nice person. I had a wonder dive with Liquid Dive Adventure. So nice and close to the house. I will definitely be booking this gorgeous home for a long family holiday. Thank you Nicky for opening this gem for others to enjoy.

Nice, safe and very clean place with a nice Braii area on the patio and a well equipped kitchen. Loved the view of the light house at night.

A nossa estadia na Karula Sand Villa foi simplesmente maravilhosa! A casa é excelente, com todos os detalhes bem pensados para proporcionar conforto e tranquilidade. Desde o momento da chegada, fomos recebidos com muita simpatia pelos anfitriões, Ana e Paulo, que fizeram de tudo para que nos sentíssemos em casa. A ajudante Beatriz foi também incrivelmente atenciosa e prestativa durante toda a nossa estadia. A Karula Sand Villa é verdadeiramente um refúgio de paz, ideal para relaxar e desfrutar de umas férias perfeitas. Recomendamos vivamente e, sem dúvida, voltaremos!

We had a wonderful and peacefull stay! Our three teenagers enjoyed the place and we could do a lot of activities such as surfing, snorkeling and boot drives. The house has everything you need, the kitchen is well equipped, very nice decoration. It is situated right in front of the beach, makes swimming and beach activities much more easier. Housekeeping support every day for dish washing and house cleaning was a great! Aaron was very supportive and it is so nice chatting with him!

O Richie foi muito prestável e simpático. A casa é muito simpática, a sala é aberta para a natureza e as duas suites bem confortáveis e frescas (com A/C). Ainda assim, sugiro levar repelente e dormir com os mosquiteiros das camas. A senhora da limpeza, Felizarda, também foi muito simpática e prestável. O point de surf Tofinho, um dos melhores de Moçambique, fica literalmente a 2 minutos a pé 🤟

What a gem! Our stay at Bon Espoir was absolutely perfect. The cottage was cozy and inviting, with everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The beach was right there, and the views were breathtaking. Riaan was incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel right at home. We can't wait to come back!

Loved the place especially the outdoor shower, all the plants and cool art pieces! Very clean and quiet you can hear the birds in the morning, just a few minutes walk from Tofinho beach, nice local bakery closeby - we felt like a local staying there. The host James was super welcoming and helpful and gave us lots of tips :) We will definitely be back!

Our stay at Cheri's was an experience we will cherish forever. From the moment we arrived, we were in a sense of peace and tranquility. If you're looking for a place to disconnect and truly relax, this is the perfect destination. The natural background of waves and the trees rustling was magical! We enjoyed spending our days on the beach; swimming; snorkeling, hanging out reading a book and just chilling. The views from the house are spectacular ; especially at sunrise! The pool is a great way to cool down and the observation deck is an amazing place to both whale-watch (in season) and stargaze. Local seafood is delicious (especially on the great braai) and affordable. The daily visits from the housekeeper ensures the house is well maintained and always tidy. You’ll need a 4x4 to get around in general; however there are transfer options that can be arranged. We highly recommend Cheri’s little slice of heaven and we can’t wait to come back
