This is a real Finnish country home. We enjoyed the peace and quiet. No Internet was a bonus!

My wife and kids loved it. You'll need to stop by in the summer, so you can take a dip from the yard sauna.

Small house with all the normal amenities. Particularly stylish sauna and laundry room. A good double bed and even an adjustable large table for remote working. The host couple was kind enough to greet us and show us around. There was even a tarp for the car. Recommended!

The entire hosting process went smoothly from reservation to checkout. The listing matched the description and the host responded well to messages and was flexible.

We are very happy with a month's stay. A warm garage is a big plus and shops nearby. You can also walk to the market. Good bed and linens, laundry and dishwasher and sauna, adequate and high-quality dishes and furniture, as well as a TV and radio. There would also have been a balcony and two bikes in the summer, but now in February we didn't have any use for them. We recommend - the onboarding and service provided by the host left a good feeling.

Very nice and working: clean, newly renovated, all necessary household machines, in a fine old house. The only thing that requires a little effort is parking if you have a car, but we found free spots close enough. Helpful host!

Very pleasant little cottage with excellent steam in the sauna. Pets were also welcome, which is always a big plus. The scenery is stunning and the surroundings are peaceful too.

Mauno’s place was idyllic. Just as the photos and description but even better in our opinion. The Mökki is directly by the lake with swimming from the jetty or the small beach. The Sauna was lovely, with a view of the lake. Beds were comfy, the kitchen has everything you need. We picked berries in the forest close by. Perfect for families. It’s been our children’s favourite holiday. Mauno and his wife made us feel very welcome when we arrived and really respect your privacy. We would love to come back one day.

A beautiful accommodation. A perfect place to rest. The hosts were friendly and easy to reach.

Amazing hut on the lake full of pike, zander and perch, so we definitely made use of the available boat. Wild blueberries and lingonberries in the yard, raspberries in the forrest few steps away. Plenty of wood provided for sauna every evening and for grilling the catch. Very clean and tidy place with everything one might need for a couple of weeks off the grid.

The place was a bit tricky to find but a nice man pointed us to the right house. Likely, we weren't the first 😅 The instruction manual was only in Finnish which was a bit tricky. Otherwise the place was amazing, very well situated. It was a pitty that the sauna was outside but it wasn't a problem. Shame that the heater couldn't get the sauna reasonably hot to about 90°C. It could also use a thermometer. The hot tub didn't work during our stay but Salla was quick to resolve it with a refund. We were 2 couples there which wasn't ideal but 2 people with children will have a great stay there. There were enough means to get yourself warm - sauna, floor heating, fireplace and AC. The place has no WiFi. The terrace has quite a drop to the ground - no issue for us because we created stairs from snow but during summer it must be a big drop.
