Our little Poke Daniels Lake has some of the best fishing. We are 45 minutes from El Dorado lake. There are many sites close to us. We are 45 minutes from the big Bluegrass Festival in Winfield KS. It is held in September for 3-4 days. Howard has many specialty shops and some of the best eating places you can find in these parts.

This is a truly old, but updated house, and is your opportunity to experience staying in the past but with modern conveniences. Central air/heat. Gas cooktop, digital oven, microwave, full-size refrig with ice maker, Roku TV, wifi. We slept well in the kingsize bed of the primary bedroom. The house is on the end of town in a quiet area. We listened to a myriad of birds from the back porch. Fishing was our activity at Toronto and Woodson Lakes. Fall River is equally close, but we didn't make it there.

The home and property is beautiful. Amanda was super helpful and very responsive. We enjoyed the pond, fire pit, pool table, darts and game room as well as pickle ball. The place had everything we needed and more. Overall fantastic experience!
