RCC – Toronto Downtown (part of George Brown College’s Waterfront campus) is located in the Canary District, Toronto’s newest urban landscape. This summer hotel alternative, which opened in May 2017, is easily accessible off The Don Valley Parkway/Hwy 404 and Gardiner Expressway. Just a short walk, streetcar, or taxi ride to the city’s best destinations and most unique neighborhoods like Corktown Common Park and The Distillery Historic District.

Our modern suites feature large windows, full sized double XL beds, and a 3 piece bath and kitchenette finished with Corian countertops and stainless steel appliances. Common spaces include a 2nd floor patio with BBQ, lounges with full kitchens, a games room, fitness centre, and complimentary Wi-Fi throughout the building. Being an ideal hotel alternative with nearby parks and green space, you can sleep peacefully knowing it’s one of the most affordable options in Toronto.

Home to a diverse and metropolitan population, Toronto downtown offers some of the best dinning, entertainment, and culture in the world. This is exemplified by the St. Lawrence Market, a local landmark established in 1803 that celebrates food, antiques, and one of a kind items in a massive indoor marketplace.

For the sports fanatics, Toronto downtown is home to the Blue Jays, TFC Soccer, Argonauts football, and more. Those with an active lifestyle can head to the Cherry Beach or Toronto Island to do some paddle boarding, or go for a bike ride along the Waterfront Trail.
