This is the cabin for those who want a simple and peaceful cabin life, as well as an eldorado of fishing and hiking opportunities right outside the door. The cabin has no running water, but there is a water source in the nearby stream. In summer, water has been laid in the wire right by the cabin wall. There is a solar panel with some electricity (for charging mobile, lights in the evening etc) otherwise there is wood burning and cooking on the gas stove. The nearest swimming area (Blåtjønn) is a 5 min walk from the cabin. Fishing licenses for several nearby waters follow the cabin.

The lodge lies entirely for itself and inspires tranquility, good times, family life, play and fun. There is a private parking space for 2 cars and a path from here up to the cabin - about 150 meters and 4-5 minutes to walk. The path is just behind the parking lot and goes through magical forest terrain - both summer and winter.

Ski slopes and trails go right outside the door. The cabin is located 10 min from Flugonfjell ski center, 20 min from Gaustablikk alpine and 12 min away from Stavsro, the best starting point for Gaustatoppen (at open mountain crossing). 2-3 park places outside the cabin door.

The cabin is located about 900 meters above sea level surrounded by old forest, open land and a few other cabins. Summer: Lots of options for short and long mountain hikes in the immediate vicinity. Winter Large network of ski slopes, straight from the cabin. Both on the snow mountain and on more protected terrain. A smaller alpine resort in Tuddal (Flugonfjell).
